Off-duty FBI agent drops gun on dance floor, shoots bystander in leg. And that, ladies and gentlemen, pretty much sums up the level of professionalism at the FBI.

As if there was any question of the level of F***tardism in the FBI ??? 🙄 Too bad he didn’t shoot his “arse” off when he jammed the gun into his pants. What a total DOUCHEBAG.

The FBI is an embarrassment from the top down. This is just another example of civil service stupidity. I hope the victim sues for millions.

Indeed. Progressivism is an evil cancer.

So, its not just the upper echelons of the FBI that are incompetent.

Incompetence starts at the top and works it’s way down.

The victim was a Trump supporter. No story here. Move along.

What a frigging moron! First, only on duty officers are allowed to carry a gun into a place that sells booze. Second why did he have it stuck into his belt instead of a proper holster? Finally, why did he have the hammer down on a loaded chamber? Any dumbass knows you keep the hammer on an empty cylinder. Dumbass should be arrested and charged with assault.

It was in a holster but apparently not clipped in. Or the holster has a really weak clip. One or the other. At the holster factory, I’m not sure they test them for ability to hold guns during dance-floor backflips. But never underestimate the federal bureaucracy: next time they put out for bid a big contract for federal holsters, they’ll no doubt include that requirement. All because of this dipshit.

Wonder if he was using a kydex holster? The gun didn’t seem to fire when it dropped, it was when he retrieved it he grabbed it wrong. It was his embarrassment and haste to grab the gun that caused this huge mistake. This is why you can never forget you’re carrying.

I watched the video a couple more times and it is hard to tell if it was in a holster or not. But the thing is why did the dipshit have a gun with him in a nightclub anyway? And it doesn’t matter if the pistol is a semi auto or revolver why did he have a round under the hammer instead of leaving the chamber empty? That is just common sense gun safety.

It’s like I keep telling people, the FBI hires a lot of lawyers and accountants, and then gives them some training and sends them out with guns to pretend they know how to be LEOs. I don’t think it’s a good combination. LEO and lawyer are two entirely different mindsets.

The really funny part is, they don’t know the law either.

When I was stationed at Coos Bay I got the training to be one of the few boarding officers in the 17th Coast Guard district. Here I am, a 21 year old kid and I could stop and board any U.S. registered vessel in the world. I could stop any foreign vessel in our territorial waters for an inspection. I was too young and dumb to understand I didn’t have a frigging clue but I did my duty anyway.

We have the same problem with law enforcement agencies. They train these young people to enforce the law but they are also taught you are the boss, don’t take any crap from anyone and it goes to their heads. Because of international laws I had to be careful when dealing with foreign ships and the Feebles do not have that problem. They think they can do what they want.

Interesting, I carry with round in the chamber. If, heaven forbid, I ever have to draw my weapon is ready to fire. I know CT police, both local and state, carry with a round chambered too.

Most cops do. I do to. But we are not federal agents and what they know about weapons could be written on a matchbook cover. They are better off leaving the hammer on an empty chamber.

There’s the smoking gun Mueller has been looking for.

Good point. And those gyrations he was doing remind me of Mueller, too.
