President Obama leads among “swing independents.” Politico is pounding the table today about this poll (coincidentally run by a Dem Party think tank group) which shows Obama with a big lead among “swing independents”, a sub-group no one’s ever heard of before. Who are they? They’re “independents” who went 57% for Obama in 2008, favor Dems over Reps for Congress and dislike the Tea Party far more than “non-swing” indpendents. Fellas, is it that hard to construct a pro-Obama Potemkin Village these days?
