Sheriff: Armed school resource officer “never went in” to building in Florida mass shooting. Sheriff Cowardly Lion has resigned. His name and photo should be smeared all over the internet. He should never get a job with a police department again. Here’s his name. If we find his real photo we’ll put it up. So what’s with dudes named Scot Peterson anyway? The last one was convicted of  killing his wife and unborn child.

Scot Peterson, the school resource deputy, was “absolutely” on campus through the event, armed and in uniform, Israel said Thursday.

This may be Broward County Sheriff Scot Peterson but we have to confirm.

The Coward of Broward, Scot Peterson is the one on the right.

Now there’s a face to go with the name. There is so much that needs to be said about this piece of work. The words would not be fit for reading. The anger within is so high. The disgust boils over. At what point will those in Broward County call out the sheriff for what his department has become. The political ass hole had tried to use the slaughter of 17 people to his advantage to now have a dump truck load of shit pull up and dump all over him. It’s time to bring charges file a civil rights violation suit against the whole damn department.

I can remember more than once running towards gunfire in Stockton. That’s the job, period. You know that when you put on the uniform. Sorry but this School Resource Deputy is a coward. Yellow streak a mile wide down his back.

And now he has SIX deputies from his former department guarding his house. Why? Hiding? That kind of behavior, plus the idiot sheriff make Broward County look more F*cked up that the FBI who ALSO shares the blame for this. I seriously believe the FBI wants this stuff to happen to keep the gun grabber movement alive.

I will never, ever cooperate with the FBI on anything, they can not be trusted and should be shut down.

During this discussion on Farcebook, some idiot was defending the cops for not going in, and decided he was going to shut me down by asking if I had ever been deployed.
I haven’t, but I have worked as a bouncer at a cowboy bar in Texas. I was cut once breaking up a knife fight, and almost shot 3 times. I wasn’t allowed to carry a weapon in the bar.
Once I told him that, he never replied.

I’ve had the same question asked of me. No, I was never deployed. No branch of the military wanted me in 1975 due to the condition of my right leg.

But that hasn’t stopped me from running in the direction of gunfire, and risking burns to help someone out of a car fire. It’s just something that some people do, and others don’t.

Liberals pick up their I-Phone, I-pad or some such shit and dial 911. Men think oh shit! And do what they can to help right now instead of standing around with their heads up their asses talking to some dispatcher miles away.

You must have worked in a sophisticated place if you only got cut once and never shot. (snicker) I been in a few Texas beer joints, lucky myself that I didn’t get cut more often, or hit by a bullet, many times in my younger days.

I think part of the problem is over the years you law dogs have been emasculated. Good cops, dedicated cops, are no longer allowed to be proactive only reactive. And it shows. This Peterson was doing what he was trained to do, standby and wait for backup or a swat team or whatever. I am a veteran, you know that, and I never gave two shits about “protocol”, neither did the brothers I served with. When innocents were in danger we went in and did all we could do to save those people. Yes, men died. Yes, many of us got wounded. But we did our duty as we knew how to do it, protect the innocent at all costs. Like you said, you pick up the gun, put on the uniform, you know what the risk will be. If you can’t handle it? Keep your candy ass in momma’s basement because you will never be a protector of the innocent. And isn’t that why we pick up the gun, wear the uniform, in your case pin a badge on your shirt for? Because we vow to protect those who cannot protect themselves? Any man who chickens out, who refuses to face the danger, isn’t much of a man in my book. One brave coach, Aaron Feis, did more to protect those kids than Peterson did, and dies because of his bravery. One brave 15 year old kid, Anthony Borges, did more to help his classmates than Peterson did. And he was hit 4 times but praise the Lord it looks like he will make it. But how long before he will forget that day? I have been out of the service for over 40 years and sometimes memories still haunt me, and I am 64 damn years old. And still wake up at night, scared of the boogieman. And fu**king cowards like Peterson and the other cops first on the scene make me want to puke because they took the oath, they picked up the gun and badge. And they did nothing while innocent children were getting killed.

I wonder if this guy ever faced gunfire in his career. As tough as we all think we are, I honestly don’t know if I could have gone into that building had I been on campus with a pistol in my car. If one of my kids was in there, I know for certain I would, if it was a just job, I hope I’d have the courage to face the threat. I’ve simply never been in a gunfight before.

No matter what we think of this guy, he gets to live with his decision. Which I don’t imagine will be very long. I predict he eats his gun within two weeks.

I understand where you are coming from MGAP and I do not hold it against you. What far to many do not understand is there are three kinds of people in this world, wolves, sheep and sheepdogs. You are a good, law abiding, productive person who does not have the capacity for violence. You are one of the sheep that the wolves prey on. And I do not mean that in a derogatory way, you don’t have to be ashamed of how you live your life.

People like me, ex military, people like NSS, a cop, we do have the capacity for violence, we protect the flock because that is what we signed up to do. We are sheepdogs that have tried to protect the flock. The difference between us and the wolves is we do not want to harm the sheep, we do what we can to protect them. And sometimes that means violence must be used to stop violence.

Like I said, I am not putting you down in any way. But I will badmouth this Peterson coward because he had the training, he had the badge, he had the weapon, he knew the risks involved in being a sheepdog, he proved he was a neutered cocker spaniel instead and 17 people died, most of them children. And I guarantee you he will not eat his gun, he doesn’t have the guts.

Great points to ponder. However there are many who wish to ensure that the sheepdogs are neutered or put into a pen. Only to have to show and bitch at when shit hits the fan.

Again, when you raise your right hand and take that oath, it is something that if it does not put chills down your spine, you should resign right then and there.

My old FTO use to tell me, keep your head on a swivel, keep your mouth shut and your eyes wide open. You will see and hear far more. As for those in Broward Coward County, there is no F^&*ing excuse for them. If someone would do an OR or FOIA on Peterson, they most likely will find he was shipped off to what the sheriff just knew was an out of sight out of mind job. Sadly this coward let 17 people die. Trust me, running toward gun fire is not the highlight of any LEOs day. Just like NSS stated, we all know that it is PART of the job and we accept it. Our families accept it.

Keep your hands out of your pockets boy. Keep your head up boy. Pay attention to everything boy. Lol…I remember those days very well. And those lessons kept me alive. The point I am trying to make is arming most teachers is a waste of time, they do not have what it takes to kill someone who is threatening them or the kids in school. And you made the most important point too. When you take the oath to protect our country, your community, you pick up the gun and badge, your safety is not the priority. The priority is to the everyday citizen, the people who do not have what it takes to use violence to stop violence. And believe this, ain’t nobody going to neuter this old sheepdog. I understand the senselessness of violence, the stupidity of it, but I know evil exists and if comes my way then Katie bar the door. The fun is just beginning.

I was confused about the name too when I didn’t know the context and I think he was trying to figure out how to handle the situation so he wouldn’t affect the corruption scheme that is going on at that department.

whiskeyriver

What are you talking about girl? Peterson had been a cop for almost 30 years, he hid outside the school and did nothing to stop the murder of 17 people! Most of them children! I don’t know what kind of “corruption scheme” you are talking about, maybe you are talking about a different article.

KimmyQueen

You guys posted the school’s reasons for not making cops come and take care of Cruz. That issue has to be expanded. The cops doing nothing for almost ten years on his ever increasing case of violence is part of a larger scheme of federal funds grabs between the police department and the school system.

This has been all over the news sites this morning and I am one disgusted person. This coward, a trained law officer who has been a cop for almost 30 years, hid outside and let 17 people get murdered? One of the dead is Aaron Feis, a coach who died trying to defend the kids, and this piece of crap lawman with a weapon stood by and did nothing? A brave man died because he was not allowed to carry a gun on school grounds but tried to protect the kids anyway and a cop, a man who could have done something to stop the carnage, did nothing?

And what really chaps my ass is that Peterson coward can retire, get all the benefits, because he has been with the sheriffs department long enough to qualify! And now the Broward County cops are being forced to protect him, sit in front of his home, because so many people are doing some hate on the coward. I can understand protecting his family, they had nothing to do with this, but Peterson himself? F*ck him. He is a coward who is a disgrace to all law enforcement and his community.

This chicken shit, was informed as was the sheriffs office that Cruz had made statements in 2016 of shooting up the school. Nothing was done then, nothing was done in January, now 17 individuals are dead. There needs to be a recall of the sheriff too. He knew, or should’ve known that his “resource officer” was just punching in his time. Both are a disgrace to LE everywhere. We take an oath to protect and to server, not an oath to cowier and disappear when danger and evil are present.

This blows the dip shits and gun grabbers argument all to hell about having armed teachers and other school administrators being armed. There was a “resource officer” present who did NOTHING. Not a damn thing except to ensure his cowardly ass went home and draws his retirement checks. All you shisters that are chasing after the gun manufacture, gun store and ammo manufacture need to focus on the very ones who allowed this tragedy to occur. The sheriff, the deputy, the FBI as well as the school administration. The first 3 are obvious, failure to act, the last one is failure to inform.

I’m afraid this does NOT blow the gun grabbers argument to hell. They’ll use this as an example why armed guards, teachers, students, you name it will not work and that the only answer is to outlaw guns. They’ll use the human element as a weak link in security response. And as weak as we know this argument will be, they’ll have a real live example to prove, at least in their minds, their point/argument. Deepthinker, you’re using logic, they won’t.

Still, the most logical solution is to arm and train willing teachers and other school workers. They will be the first line of defense and since they are already in harms way, they will be very willing to engage the shooter. But, you are right about the left. They overlook any common sense in favor of their agenda of power and control over the people.

flashingscotsman

You can bet your ass that football coach would have been even MORE of a hero had he been armed.

MGAP
Yes Im using logic, something that is very foreign to the feel good pussies of the left.

You train, you train, you train and you train some more. That way when it becomes necessary to use deadly force you will not hesitate. You train so that everything is muscle memory and there is no dump. You train so as to keep your mental capabilities about you.

The home addresses of these cowards should be plastered every where. Then pictures of the 17 that they allowed to die should be placed on placards in front of their homes so that they will always see the faces of those that they let down and permitted to die. Their families can see that the “head of the household” allowed 17 innocent people to die.

As the court house is considered public property, the faces of the 17 who lost their lives because the sheriff and his “deputies” allowed them to die, should be on display for them to see every damn day that they report for work.

The despicable lack of action by those who swore to protect and serve need to be clearly put on display for every last person to see.

Well said deep. No balls, no job, no retirement, nothing except public scorn for allowing children to get murdered and those puke excuses of a cop may saved a few if they had done their duty.

Are you a cop deepthinker? If so, you are a bigger man than I am. I never had the patience or tolerance to put up with stupid people and both are a must for men and women who wear a badge. I was always more prone to slapping the shit out of some fool than put up his loud mouth. (snicker)

I am, believe me it has crossed my thought process on more than one occasion. What’s worse is today’s kids hear that all cops are bad and we’ll arrest them for anything.

Weren’t there two? One in Illinois (former cop, killed 3 or 4 wives) and the guy in California?

What the hell are you talking about dude?

StrinaM

There was the Peterson in Illinois who was an ex cop and killed several of his wives. One ruled a drowning when she and the tub were dry. They only caught him after his third wife died. The OTHER Peterson killed his pregnant wife, Lacey, in California.

Ok. The Illinois guy was DREW Peterson.
