Socialists win absolute majority in France. The media was focused on the Greek sideshow but the more important election was in France. Socialist President Hollande now has free rein to do whatever he wants. Is that gonna leave a mark? Probably: “Mrs Merkel warned the policies of the new Socialist president could destroy the eurozone by bringing the sovereign debt crisis to France itself.” Just call them the PFIIGS.
