Hilarious: Bill Maher’s liberal guests long for President Hilary Clinton

This is comedy gold, far funnier material than any monologue Bill Maher has ever delivered. The thing is, though, they don’t know they’re being funny.

Think of it as buyer’s remorse. Or more accurately, perhaps, liberals’ remorse.

Oh, if only they could have President Hilary Clinton, a true liberal, instead of this disappointing pseudo-liberal Barack Obama.

This is comedy gold, far funnier material than any monologue Bill Maher has ever delivered. The thing is, though, they don’t know they’re being funny.

Architect of our economic doom: We’re “pretty darn f-cked”

Only hours after S&P downgraded the U.S. for the first time in history, a former Obama economic adviser summarized the situation in a colorful way.

It’s always nice to see the person who caused your problems laughing at those problems. In this case we refer to Christine Romer, the first chair of President Obama’s Council of Economic Advisers.

ABC’s Jake Tapper reports the annoying news:

Only hours after Standard & Poor’s downgraded the credit worthiness of the U.S. for the first time in history, a former Obama economic adviser summarized the situation in a colorful way.

The U.S. is “pretty darn fu**ed,” said Christine Romer, President Obama’s first chair of the White House Council of Economic Advisers.

Appearing on HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher”, Ms. Romer was asked about what the downgrade means for the U.S. economy. Romer’s profanity followed a clip for a segment on Maher’s show called “How Fucked Are We?”

An amused Maher paused to let the audience enjoy what Romer had said. After all, it’s not everyday that a professor and former White House staffer swears on live cable.

Of course, as Rush Limbaugh always says, “Failure is a resume enhancement for liberals.” Romer left the Obama administration to disseminate her left wing lunacy to eager young liberal ears at UC Berkeley.

Here’s Romer back in 2009 telling Fox News’ Chris Wallace that she’s “absolutely confident” her economic policies will work in a year.

Unfortunately, she was wrong is 2009, but right in 2011.

Ahhh, the fresh breeze of civility and tolerance wishes 40 percent of America were dead

Attack the ideas, they tell us, not the person. Just ask uber-liberal and gay sex advice columnist Dan Savage.

Liberals tell us that we must work and live together to create a better nation. We must learn to treat one another – even those of a different political philosophy – with respect. Attack the ideas, they tell us, not the person.

Just ask uber-liberal and gay sex advice columnist Dan Savage.

In a heated exchange about the debt-ceiling debate on the HBO’s Real Time, Savage, in the spirit of this new political civility, said of Republicans, “I wish they were all fucking dead.”

The funny thing: No one really in the panel called him on it. It’s as if they agreed with the statement that it’s OK to wish forty percent of their fellow Americans dead and – if truth be told – they probably wished those deaths were not peaceful slides off the mortal coil. We’re just supposing, though.

Could it be that civility works one way? Could it be that liberals think that any time one of their ideas or leaders is criticized that this is being “uncivil” and they can threaten and curse against their opponents all they like.

Civility, it seems, is a one-way street where everyone drives on the left.

Holy moly: Bill Maher tells Muslim Congressman that the Koran is a hate-filled book. And worse.

HBO’s Bill Maher went off on pseudo-crying Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison. If he gets sued, we’re pretty sure he’ll cop the temporary sanity plea.

Somebody get us the smelling salts because we’re feeling a little faint. HBO’s Bill Maher went off on pseudo-crying Muslim Congressman Keith Ellison. If he gets sued, we’re pretty sure he’ll cop the temporary sanity plea.

Mediaite.com has the remarkable turn of events:

Ellison, who was raised Catholic, said he was drawn to Islam initially due to a message of “inclusion and “social justice,” and spoke of the need for “religious pluralism” in society. It was smooth sailing at that point – Maher even said “right on.” But then, Maher went off on radical Islam, deeming “the threat, potentially, from radicalized Muslims…a unique and greater threat” – one, he said, that’s in its “medieval era.” In addition, he cited “trying to get nuclear weapons” and a “culture of suicide bombing.”

But that paled next to Maher’s criticism of the Qur’an, which he called a “hate-filled holy book…which is taken very literally” by radical Islamic terrorists. Ripping suicide bombers is one thing…maligning the holy book for the entirety of Islam is quite another. Ellison, of course, disagreed, saying Maher was “lumping together things that shouldn’t be lumped together,” and that terrorists “take things out of context to do what they want to do” – in fact, that “terrorist rhetoric” has little to do with religion at all.

Maher allowed that the “vast, vast giant majority of Muslims aren’t the problem,” but added that with terrorists, “it just takes one.” Maher also seemed unconvinced of Ellison’s Qur’an defense, even as Ellison cited a passage that claims that taking one life is akin to killing the whole world, and saving a life is like saving the entire world: “Am I getting the wrong translation? ‘Cause that’s what every Muslim always tells me.”

Maher’s Hollywood friends – we know you’re probably wondering how someone as vile as Maher could have friends, but please note that we said Hollywood friends. Everyone knows that Hollywood friends have nothing in common with real friends. Hollywood friends are just people who do that Sopranos hug and back slap thing to people they secretly loathe at awards shows and then pray that the person they’re hugging and slapping never gets another role because that would be one less role that they could get and Hollywood is fueled by equal quantities of jealosy and deception. And, of course, cocaine…

Anyway, as we were saying, Maher’s Hollywood friends are undoubtedly staging an intervention at this very moment.

Bill Maher proves he’s a wussy by calling President Obama a wussy

Bill Maher appeared on CNN and called President Obama “a wussy.” Of course, wussy is a wussy way of saying pussy, proving that Maher and Obama are, in fact, two of a kind.

Bill Maher appeared on CNN and called President Obama “a wussy.” Of course, wussy is a wussy way of saying pussy, proving that Maher and Obama are, in fact, two of a kind.

Fox Nation has the delicately worded details:

During his appearance on CNN’s Fareed Zakaria GPS today, Bill Maher said that he felt President Obama was acting ‘wimpy’ and ‘wussy’ lately. “I’m just so disappointed that he seems to be another in a long line of Democrats that come across as wimpy, and wussy, and whatever word you want to ascribe to it, and not standing up for what they believe in enough,” Maher said.

He also joked that “He looks beaten down….I thought when we elected him, as a comedian, two years in I’d be making jokes about what a gangster he was.”

Two mistakes in that paragraph. Maher assumed he’d be making jokes about what a gangster Obama was and then compounded his error by assuming he was a comedian.

Bill Maher is a filthy racist who hates Muslims

Last week it was revealed that the most popular boys’ name in England was Mohammed. Much to conservatives’ surprise and to liberals’ dismay, Maher said he was concerned about the “alarming” number of “baby Mohammeds” in England.

We’re not proud to admit this, but we agree with Bill Maher on something. Please do not hold this shameful admission against us. We beg you.

Last week it was revealed that the most popular boys’ name in England was Mohammed. Much to conservatives’ surprise and to liberals’ dismay, Maher said he was concerned about the “alarming” number of “baby Mohammeds” in England.

Wolf Blitzer interviewed the obnoxious HBO host and the CNN host just couldn’t believe that Maher actually said something so rational.

Much to our surprise, Maher didn’t back down. He said he sees no reason to “apologize for being a proud Westerner” or for being concerned that “Muslim people are in these [Western] societies“ having babies ”at a faster clip than non-Muslims.”

He called himself “someone who believes in the values that Western people believe in that a lot of the Muslim world does not, like separation of church and state…”

“I would like to keep those values here,” Maher said.

Why do we get the feeling that this is like that episode of Dallas where Pam finds Bobby in the shower and learns that the entire previous season was one long dream that never really happened.

Shocker: George Clooney won’t let Bill Maher get away with attacking conservatives

George Clooney stopped HBO host Bill Mayer and told him that conservatives have done far more than liberals to support his efforts in Darfur.

It’s not surprising that Bill Maher had his facts wrong when he attacked conservatives. But it was surprising when reliably liberal guest George Clooney stopped the obnoxious HBO host and told him that conservatives have done far more than liberals to support his efforts in Darfur.

Maher started the sequence by saying, “I don’t think conservatives are bad people, I think they have a hard time being empathetic to people who are not like them at all.”

First Clooney chastises the studio audience for applauding Maher’s stupidity and then he sets the record straight.

We may have to consider lifting our self-imposed ban on George Clooney movies.

Andrew Breitbart corners Bill Maher, gets him to admit he’s a socialist

Watch Bill Maher’s face when Andrew Breitbart corners him about his longtime claim that he’s a libertarian and forces him to admit he’s a socialist.

Bill Maher’s Friday night HBO show featured guests Amy Holmes of CNN and Andrew Breitbart. (Seth McFarland was also there, but mercifully, didn’t participate in the following exchange about ObamaCare and the Democrats dwindling hopes for November.)

There are two great moments in this clip:

1. The look on Maher’s face when Breitbart corners him about his longtime nonsensical claim that he’s a libertarian and forces him to admit he’s a socialist.

2. When Maher says the only reason the American people don’t like ObamaCare is because they’re stupid.

Holmes: They talked endlessly about it and their agenda was rejected by the American people, that’s a simple fact.
Maher: Because they’re stupid.
Breitbart: So you’re, you’re officially not a Libertarian anymore, right? I mean, this position…
Maher: Well..
Breitbart: …has run so far from the Libertarian position. Is this, so you admit that you have more of a, you know, European socialist leaning perspective on this issue?
(AUDIENCE LAUGHTER)
Breitbart: Why is that funny?
Maher: I’m..I’m not afraid…it’s not…I’m not afraid to say European socialism works.

“Conservative” blogger gazes longingly at Al Gore, announces that the former Veep has a huge penis

Bill Maher thinks they don’t use petroleum in Brazil

Bill Maher is a moron. He always manages to sound relatively intelligent (yeah, yeah, we know, but please go with that concept for the purposes of this story) when he’s delivering a monologue read off a Teleprompter. But Katie bar the door when he’s left to his own devices.

Bill Maher is a moron. He always manages to sound relatively intelligent (yeah, yeah, we know, but please go with that concept for the purposes of this story) when he’s delivering a monologue read off a Teleprompter. But Katie bar the door when he’s left to his own devices.

Like yesterday. Maher turned into a babbling idiot when George Will challenged Maher’s ludicrous contention that Brazil is some kind of paradise where that evil petroleum is a thing of the past.

You owe us a big favor on this one. We could have shown you a six minute clip of this exchange, but we chose not to subject you to any more Maher than was absolutely necessary.

Some day, you will be called upon to repay that favor.

You know Bill Maher is crazy when he makes Alec Baldwin and Chris Matthews seem sane

Seriously. Bill Maher has off the deep end. Way off. Even liberal lunatics like Chris Matthews and Alec Baldwin are rolling their eyes and wondering if Maher has lost it.

Seriously. Bill Maher has off the deep end. Way off. Even liberal lunatics like Chris Matthews and Alec Baldwin are rolling their eyes and wondering if Maher has lost it.

Of course, he couldn’t lose it unless he once had it and that is definitely not an assertion that would hold up in court.

Bill Maher wants to be taken seriously. Seriously.

Bill Maher wants President Obama to repeal “don’t ask, don’t tell” regulations just to drive the right wing crazy.

bill-maher Bill Maher wants President Obama to repeal “don’t ask, don’t tell” regulations just to drive the right wing crazy.

But who are we to paraphrase Maher’s brilliance. Let’s have him explain it in his own words:

“Because here’s the thing about today’s conservatives: They’re not bright. They can’t keep a lot of ideas in their head at once. And by ‘a lot’ I mean ‘two.’ If we can get them all worked up about fighting the gay menace, it will siphon away all that crazy, right wing, town-hall energy from all the other big issues they’ve been fighting.”

Then Bill went what we politely refer to as totally off the deep end.

“Health care and the environment are complicated, but it’s not hard to keep track of the places that God allows you to put your pee-pee. I mean, you can count those places on one hand. And that hand isn’t something you should be using either. A year ago, if you had asked your average wing-nut neighbor what he thought about health care reform, he would have shrugged his shoulders and gone right back to eating his Moon Pie. But he’s pissed-off about it now, why? Because it’s in their nature to be pissed-off. They have a pre-existing condition called the Conniption Fits. The tea-baggers have taught us all an important lesson in modern politics: If you want to be taken seriously, act like a fucking loony-tune.”

Under the circumstances, Bill, we take you very, very seriously.

Bill Maher to Obama, “Hey! I’m not crazy!”

“Maher called the White House “cowards” for allowing Van Jones to resign following a series of right-wing attacks and for capitulating to those who complained about the nature of Obama’s back-to-school speech.”

Bill “This country is so stupid” Maher is mad — really mad — and taking the Obama administration to task.

“Maher called the White House “cowards” for allowing Van Jones to resign following a series of right-wing attacks and for capitulating to those who complained about the nature of Obama’s back-to-school speech.”

Maher defended his statement saying “The Democrats just never learn. Americans don’t really care which side of an issue you’re on as long as you don’t act like pussies.”

The Huffington Post said, “Maher then criticized Obama for trying to win over those who vehemently disagree with him, insisting that the president should instead ‘stand up for the 70 percent of Americans who aren’t crazy.'”

Any right wing publication who dared refer to Democrats as (and we quote) “cowards” or (quoting again) “pussies” would be vilified by the left wing press. But since we are quoting Bill Maher as quoted in a left wing publication, what can we say?

While we agree that “Democrats are cowards” who often “act like pussies,” we are baffled by his statement that Obama should stand up for the 70 percent of Americans who aren’t crazy.

We’re not sure what polls Bill is paying attention to, or who he considers “not crazy” but we are willing to bet that he considers himself part of the 70%.

Which is all the proof you need that Bill is actually part of the 30%.

Pitt hot for pot except when he’s not

Brad Pitt showed up on Bill Maher’s show the other night to show the world that you don’t have to be stoned to be incoherent. He seems to have taken diametrically opposed positions on the same issue – pot.

Brad Pitt showed up on Bill Maher’s show the other night to show the world that you don’t have to be stoned to be incoherent. He seems to have taken diametrically opposed positions on the same issue – pot.

Early in the interview, Maher asks Pitt about the rumors that he’s going to run for mayor of New Orleans.

“They were asking about running for mayor, which has been a T-shirt in New Orleans,” Pitt responded, “and I said something to the extent of, ‘No religion, legalization and taxation of pot and pro-gay marriage.’ Which is basically the Bill Maher going straight to hell campaign.” (1:10 to 1:48)

Later, Maher asks Pitt why he gave up pot and the movie star replied, “I’m a dad now and you want to be alert.”
(Time: 3:51 to 5:15)

The way we understand this genius’ position, it’s OK to smoke yourself senseless up to the moment you become a father. Maybe even light up a fatty and pass it around the delivery room while you’re becoming a father.

Yup, looks this guy’s dumb enough to succeed Ray Nagin as mayor of New Orleans.

Bill Maher rips The One a new one

What are we to think when unhinged leftist Bill Maher turns on President Obama?

What are we to think when unhinged leftist Bill Maher turns on President Obama?

From the first line of his Friday night rant (“President Obama should just join the cast of “I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!” It’s not that farfetched; he’s been on everything else.”) to the last (“I’m glad that Obama is president, but the ‘Audacity of Hope’ part is over. Right now, I’m hoping for a little more audacity.”), Maher rips The One a new one.

Of course, Maher’s real complaint is that Obama hasn’t been socialist enough fast enough. But still, he manages to compare him unfavorably to both President Bush and Lindsay Lohan.

This may be the first and only time we ever recommend watching Maher. So enjoy it.

Bill Maher’s latest offensive anti-Christian rant. Forgive him father, for he knows not how unfunny he is.

Has Bill Maher ever been funny? Even once in his career? Ever?

On Friday night’s HBO show, he continued his streak of mean-spirited (Oops. If you’re in a forgiving mood, please forgive our use that left wing terminology) unfunniness with this tasteless satire on Carrie Prejean.

Joe the Plumber lays pipe on Bill Maher

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EACX65yggPQ

Six months ago Joe the Plumber was just Joe the plumber. Then Barack Obama knocked on his door, quickly followed by opportunity knocking on his door.

Love Joe or hate Joe, you have to give the guy credit. He walked into the lion’s den (otherwise known as Bill Maher’s show on HBO) and held his own.

Maher, of course, does everything he can to make Joe look like a bonehead, but Joe gave as good as he got. Not bad for a guy who was unclogging drains not too long ago.

Bill Maher takes potshots at military. Decorated former Staff Sergeant fires back.

Is there anyone on television more distasteful than Bill Maher?

The liberal HBO talk show host has done it again, this time insulting the U.S. military

Here’s what the so-called comedian had to say on his March 27 HBO show:

“Forget about bringing the troops home Iraq – we need to get the troops home from World War II,” Maher said. “Can anybody tell me why in 2009, we still have more than 50,000 troops in Germany and 30,000 in Japan? At some point these people are going to have to learn to rape themselves.”

The insults continued, but let’s get to the response from former Army Staff Sergeant David Bellavia, author of “House to House.” He’s already won a Silver Star and a Bronze Star and has been recommended for the Medal of Honor.

“While Democrats want to accuse the right in America of being hijacked by the talking points of Rush Limbaugh and talk radio,” Bellavia noted, “it is more than a little odd to me that the greatest minds on the left today are community organizers, washed up former sports commentators and stand up comedians. It’s insensitive and hurtful.”

“The fact is that the German people would be the first to protest our leaving their country,” Bellavia continued. “Areas like Vilseck would have no economy without American business and young foolish soldiers emptying their bank accounts on the German local scene.”

The Fallujah veteran said he wasn’t surprised by Maher remarks and explained many on the left like Maher don’t understand the concept of military service.

“Maher’s comments are nothing surprising to me,” Bellavia said. “Newsflash – the left doesn’t get the military. They don’t understand how a person can see something bigger then themselves. And the vast majority of liberals have zero idea of what we face overseas and moreover, cannot understand any situation that could possibly involve taking the life at war. They never have. And they never will.”

Funny thing is, there’s probably some Taliban with a satellite dish outside his cave in Waziristan keeping track of which western “comedians” will be the first to be eliminated when they take over.

Maher’s only hope is that he’s so completely unfunny that the Taliban never figure out he’s a supposed to be a comedian.

Bill Maher’s going to have trouble finding a stockbroker

Has anyone with his own network TV show ever been unfunnier than Bill Maher? OK, maybe Bill Moyers. But we’d call it a toss-up.

Maher’s 2009 HBO show just premiered on Friday night. But he’s already in mid-season form when it comes to unfunny. He ended the season-opener with this suggestion:

“If we killed two random, rich greedy pigs, blew them up at halftime at next year’s Super Bowl, or left them hanging on the big board at the New York Stock Exchange — you know, as a warning, with their balls in their mouths — I think it would really make everyone else sit up and take notice.”

Tom Cruise heard what Maher said and expressed interest in becoming a stockbroker until Katie Holmes told him Maher was only speaking figuratively.

Why are liberals obsessed with testicles this weekend?

Bill Maher wants to lynch stockbrokers “with their balls in their mouths.” Fox News’ John Gibson should consider himself lucky, because the Huffington Post only wants to put words in his mouth.

Yesterday, the unabashedly lefty website ran a doctored video that combined two completely different stories and made it appear that Gibson had cast racial slurs at new Attorney General Eric Holder.

To their credit, HuffPo later pulled the doctored video, admitted they had been duped, and issued a mea culpa. Continue reading “Why are liberals obsessed with testicles this weekend?”

Bill Maher doesn’t know how much Obama doesn’t know

Poor Bill Maher. If he believed in the first coming of Christ, he would undoubtedly have told us that Barack Obama was the second coming of Christ. That’s how much he believed in his candidate.

But now that Obama is president, the “comedian” seems to be feeling a little less confident. Obama’s only been in office for three weeks, but Maher sounded a bit defensive on last night’s Larry King program.

“I think Obama is learning, and he certainly is the smartest guy we’ve had there that I can remember,” Maher puffed. “But there’s always a learning curve.”

Had it been anyone other than Larry King conducting the interview, they would have posed some interesting follow-up questions.

Larry simply continued his brief nap before cutting to a commercial.
