Project Veritas: Bernie Sanders Field Organizer Suggests Gulags to Help ‘Nazified’ Trump Voters. Well, well, well. We hope someone brings this up at the Democrat debate tonight.

Hitler’s soldiers were whacked out on crystal meth

Thousands of Nazi soldiers were using the drug crystal meth by the time the Soviet Union was invaded in 1941.

As our regular readers are well aware, Cops is the Editor’s favorite TV show. His normal life is lived in a peaceful, antiseptic bubble and everything he knows about the horrors of the outside world comes from that outstanding program. And if there’s one thing he’s learned from years of watching Cops, it’s that crystal meth is one bad mofo drug.

Now it turns out that Hitler’s army was whacked out on the stuff 60 years ago.

The News Australia has the story:

The German army’s drug of choice as it overran Poland, Holland, Belgium and France was Pervitin – pills made of methamphetamine, known today as crystal meth.

Thousands of Nazi soldiers were using the drug by the time the Soviet Union was invaded in 1941.

About 200 million Pervitin pills were given to Nazi troops between 1939 and 1945, research by the German Doctors’ Association revealed.

A pharmacologist from the GDA said this week: “The blitzkrieg was fuelled by Pervitin. The idea was to turn ordinary soldiers, sailors and airmen into automatons capable of superhuman performance.”

The downside to the scheme was that many soldiers became addicted to the drug and of no use in any theatre of war.

… In January 1942, a group of 500 troops surrounded by the Red Army was attempting to escape in temperatures of -30C.

The unit’s medical officer wrote: “I decided to give them Pervitin as they began to lie down in the snow wanting to die. After half an hour the men began spontaneously reporting that they felt better.

“They began marching in orderly fashion again, their spirits improved, and they became more alert.”

So thanks to crystal meth, Nazi soldiers were completely alert as they were freezing to death, being slaughtered by the Red Army or captured and sent to Soviet slave camps.

The Editor’s wife might prefer any of those options over watching another episode of Cops. But her taste in television is as questionable as her taste in men.

Obama doesn’t like the left to compare politicians to Nazis. Especially if he’s the politician.

Now that Keith Olbermann has compared Obama to the Nazis, he’s decided that those comparisons are verboten.

We’ve been racking our brain and we just can’t recall President Obama complaining when his left wing cohorts called George Bush a Nazi. But now, now that Keith Olbermann has compared Obama to the Nazis, he’s decided that those comparisons are verboten.

obama-nazi
Don't blame us. Keith Olbermann said it.

Politico.com has the tale of Obama’s displeasure:

White House press secretary Robert Gibbs advised the liberal commenter Keith Olbermann on Monday to refrain from using comparisons to Nazi Germany after the MSNBC host likened President Obama’s deal on tax cuts to Nazi appeasement.

“Whenever you compare anything to what the Nazis did, if you ever get to that point in your speech, stop, because nothing does, and hopefully, God willing, nothing ever will,” Gibbs told reporters.

Asked if Obama heard Olbermann’s “special comment,” Gibbs replied, “I doubt the president heard that.”

Olbermann was reportedly devastated by the news that the President doesn’t tune in to catch his nightly therapy session.

“The President doesn’t watch my show? But I went to an Ivy League-ish school. I read James Thurber on the air every Friday. I was once fired by Rupert Murdoch. I say ‘good night and good luck’ at the end of my show just like Edward R. Murrow. The only conclusion I can draw from this unwarranted rejection is that Obama really is a Nazi.”

CBS goes to the Mexican border, finds neo-Nazis instead of illegal aliens

CBS, the one-time Tiffany network, sent reporter Steven Fabian to the Arizona-Mexico border. He didn’t find any illegal aliens, but he did find neo-Nazis.

CBS, the one-time Tiffany network, sent reporter Steven Fabian to the Arizona-Mexico border. He didn’t find any illegal aliens, but he did find neo-Nazis.

In fact, the CBS website headlines the story “Neo-Nazis patrolling U.S. border.”

At the beginning of his report, Fabian says, “J. T. Ready is the leader of tonight’s group. He is also a member of the National Socialist movement, a group that some experts call a neo-Nazi organization that believes in a white separatist state.”

Unfortunately, Fabian never identifies these “experts” nor the source of their information. He never quizzes Ready about his neo-Nazi beliefs. And he never disputes Ready’s assertion that his group is looking for drug smugglers and illegal aliens because the federal government won’t.

Ahhh, but Fabian does mention that this armed band of neo-Nazis actually found a few illegal aliens during their patrol and reports on the brutal treatment they suffered at the hands of the evil Aryans. They were “given water and turned over to authorities.” No beatings. No ovens. No nothin’.

Later, toward the end of the report, Fabian says, “Citizen patrols like this one, led by an alleged neo-Nazi organization, worry local law enforcement.”

Again, no evidence is presented to support the assertion that Ready is a neo-Nazi. He may well be. We don’t know. There are certainly thousands of online references that say he is. But wouldn’t that have been an interesting line of questioning for Fabian to follow?

But what do we know about such things. No one’s ever called us the Tiffany of blogs.

Shock: Nazi Propaganda Minister’s description of Hitler sounds just like American media describing Obama

Those of you who think it’s absurd to compare American 2009 to Nazi Germany would be well-advised to read this chilling excerpt from a speech by Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s Minister of Propaganda

Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's Minister of Propaganda
Joseph Goebbels, Hitler's Minister of Propaganda

Those of you who think it’s absurd to compare America 2009 to Nazi Germany would be well-advised to read this chilling excerpt from a speech by Joseph Goebbels, Hitler’s Minister of Propaganda:

“The newspapers today are filled with congratulations for Reich Chancellor Adolf Hitler. The nuances vary, depending on the tone, character, and attitude of the newspaper. All, however, agree on one thing: Hitler is a man of stature who has already accomplished historically important deeds and faces still greater challenges. He is the kind of statesman found only rarely in Germany. During his lifetime, he has the good fortune not only to be appreciated and loved by the overwhelming majority of the German people, but even more importantly to be understood by them. He is the only German politician of the post-war period who understood the situation and drew the necessary hard and firm conclusions. All the newspapers agree on this.”

Sound oddly familiar? Let’s look at the same speech with just the names changed:

Anita Dunn & David Axelrod, Obama's Hansel & Gretel Goebbels
Anita Dunn & David Axelrod, Obama's Hansel & Gretel Goebbels

“The news media today are filled with congratulations for Barack Obama. The nuances vary, depending on the tone, character, and attitude of the news media. All, however, agree on one thing: Obama is a man of stature who has already accomplished historically important deeds and faces still greater challenges. He is the kind of statesman found only rarely in the U.S. During his lifetime, he has the good fortune not only to be appreciated and loved by the overwhelming majority of the American people, but even more importantly to be understood by them. He is the only American politician of any period who understood the situation and drew the necessary hard and firm conclusions. All the news media except Fox agree on this.”

It’s easy to imagine the latter version came straight from the fawning Obama coverage provided by ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC, CNN and most newspapers and magazines.

But let’s face it. The scheiße would have hit the fan had Anita Dunn said Goebbels was one of her “favorite philosophers” instead of Mao.

We’re confident, however, that the Nazi Minister of Propaganda will surely be added to her short list as soon as she reads this quote.

Al Gore rewrites history, London Times rewrites Al Gore

Al Gore compared the battle against climate change with the struggle against the Nazis, who are apparently today’s global warming realists.

Al Gore's vision of global warming realists
Al Gore's vision of global warming realists

What is it with newspapers named “The Times?” No mater where they may be located, they seem to do whatever necessary to support liberals. Even the Times of London is now marching in lockstep with the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times.

Al Gore was in England last week to issue his latest doom and gloom proclamation. The Times of London first reported his speech this way:

Al Gore today compared the battle against climate change with the struggle against the Nazis.

Nazis? Global warming realists are now like Nazis?

Five hours later, the Times story had magically been rewritten, the comparison of global warming realists to Nazis had been removed, and Gore had been recast to appear much more statesman-like:

Al Gore invoked the spirit of Winston Churchill today by encouraging political leaders to follow the example of Britain’s wartime leader and unite their nations to fight climate change.

Where’d those global warming Nazis go? Probably off to kill a few polar bears.

You’re a Nazi, because CNN’s D. L. Hughley said so

You may not have known this, but if you’re a Republican, you’re a Nazi. At least that’s what CNN’s D.L. Hughley says.

You hate Jews, Gypsies, blacks, homosexuals, gays and damn near everyone else. You want to ship them all off in railroad cars to be starved, tortured and killed. Then you will dump their emaciated bodies in large piles. In your spare time you’ll invade Canada and Mexico in a mad quest for world domination.

“The tenets of the Republican Party are amazing and they seem warm and welcome,” Hughley said with a completely straight face. “But when I watch it be applied, like you didn’t have to go much further than the Republican National Convention….It literally look(s) like Nazi Germany.”

We thought we just wanted lower taxes and a smaller government. But D.L. Hughley’s on television, so he must be right.
