The person in charge of Pennsylvania’s coronavirus response. On March 18, Pennsylvania Health Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine, born Richard Levine, directed licensed long-term care facilities to continue admitting COVID-19 patients. Meanwhile, he/she moved his/her own mother out of her nursing home. Since then, thousands of nursing home residents have died, comprising in some areas of Pennsylvania up to 80% of coronavirus deaths.
