W. Va. Bill Would Require 3 Drug Tests For Teenage Drivers: What we need is a bill requiring Joe Biden to take three drug tests before he shows up to work in the morning.

So are we going to do the drug tests before or after we legalize drugs? I mean, we let drunks drive, despite their amazing ability to maim and kill and walk away scot free. We send mixed messages to our kids and everyone else. THAT needs to stop;

I could care less about cronyism, I see this as an EXCELLENT step to getting stoned kids off the roads. *APPLAUDES*

Now, when do we start with the rest of the stoned drivers? And get serious, with long prison terms for first time convictions, for drunk driving?

They’re better off testing Welfare Recipients, but while their at it how about testing all the politicians.

ALL government workers. Hey, we’re paying their wages, we decide. Right?

Oh you silly boy! You actually think they work for US? *starts laughing maniacally* They work for “the government” which OWNS all of us. They have let us THINK that we own them as they have acquired the power to control every facet of our lives.

The cynic in me says somebody (maybe a lot of somebodies) in the WV legislature have cronies in the drug testing business.

Yeah. I am trying to imagine how this “well-meaning” bill will be applied and actually screw everything up. It WILL. It always does. Government intervention does not solve problems. At least not when it tries to regulate behavior. What we SHOULD be doing is holding PARENTS accountable for what their children do. So if one has a lazy drunk deadbeat teenager they should put their foot down and say “no license for you”.

Most likely.

“Currently there are proposed bills in the House that would require drug testing for individuals seeking welfare,” Looks like they’re heading in the right direction to me.
