‘We will prosecute’ employers who help immigration sweeps, California AG says. We hope the Feds prosecute him and Jerry Brown first.

I am sorry… mean no disrespect, because many of you live there, but how can people live in this state and be sane?

Morning KQ, cómo estás hoy this fine day? People stay in California for the same reason I stay in New Mexico. It is our home, plain and simple. Cali. has the beaches, mountains and deserts. All beautiful places with good people living there. New Mexico does not have beaches but we have soaring mountains, deserts and everything in between. And some of the best people you will ever meet.

If Los Angeles and San Franfreakshow would slide off into the ocean California could become the Golden State again. If Albukookoo fell into the Rio Grande Rift and all the movie stars were forced out of Taos and Santa Fe New Mexico could become a great state again. We live where we live because we love the place and the people KQ, just like you do.

I moved from where I was born and raised because it was a shithole that afforded me no opportunities. I didn’t stay in the US East Coast because it was a tax shithole. I didn’t stay in Europe because it is a socialist shithole and at the time could see the Islamic invasion coming. Texas IS NOT perfect, but it is far and above the better place to live. I think that attachments to a location that has no positive prospects is weird. I can concede that when the place has pockets of BS, instead of widespread BS, staying makes sense. Thanks for your input. I hope you are doing better.

Stop moving from shithole to shithole. Come to West Michigan, a place that seems to be immune to recessions, where people don’t expect anything from government because we’ve spent fifty years watching all our tax money go to that shithole on the other side of the state, and where all the beaches are sandy and all the people are above average. And unlike Texas, we don’t have scorpions, tarantulas, or leprosy-carrying armadillos.

The problem with Michigan is you guys only have 2 seasons, winter and July! LOL…I have been in your part of the world a few times during my working years. Beautiful country and some finestkind people.

I am done moving. If Texas goes to hell, there is literally nowhere else where I could go UNLESS I become wealthy.

You will be alright there, Texans are good folks and will take you as you are as long as you are an honest, honorable person.

Buenos días señorita! My mothers family came from Texas and I still have a lot of kin living there. From Dallas south to Houston. East to the Louisiana line then north to Cass County and Longview. Most of them the best kind of people you will ever meet.

I would live there except for one problem, Texas has no mountains! I am a born and raised New Mexico boy and this is where I will die. I was raised in the mountains north of Taos, rough country that takes tough people to live there. Nothing comes easy, you have to make your own way. I now live on the vast eastern plains bordering on west Texas and not much has changed. It is a harsh country and it takes people with guts and fortitude to live here.

But I swear to God, you cannot believe the beauty of the place. A sunrise over nothing, just the land and the lake I live on the shore of. Up north around Taos, Angel Fire and Red River they got a foot or more snow last weekend but today dawned clear and the sky will be bluer than you can believe unless you have seen it. Although, news reports this morning said it was -16 below this morning in Angel Fire and my old bones can’t take it anymore. lol I won’t even get started on the southwest part of the state, the deserts that have a strange beauty of their own.

Yes, we are a poor state with low wages and high taxes. Yes our education system is in the toilet. But the raw beauty, the diversity of our geography and the people that live here make up for it. I can take you on a drive and you will not see a building, a town, nothing but wide open spaces for 100 miles. Ain’t no place in our great land where anyone else can say that.

Yeah, like you really believe you can overrule federal laws. I hope you have really deep pockets because you’ll be in court a looong time.

Why isn’t Becerra behind bars? (Not for this, for the Pakistani penetration of 16 Congessional computers while Becerra was in charge).
