White House Tries to Rebrand Mandate as ‘Personal Responsibility Clause’. Note to Barry: It is not our personal responsibility to buy health care from your cronies. Hands off our economy. Hands off our bodies.

Wait a minute let me get this straight……..Mr Professional “it’s somebody else’s fault, not my responsibilty” has a responsibility clause in the health care fiasco? I didn’t think anyone in this adminstration knew the word existed. Is there a way for bozo to somehow make this Bush’s fault too?

Somehow I have to pay for those that do not wish to pay. They say well then government absorb them anyway if they get sick or something. okay I understand that, however there has to be other ways to handle this. How did people cope before big government? That is what I want to know.

Usually, KQ, people went without. By the 19th century most european countries had developed draconian tort laws or some sort of debtor prison system when people got into financial trouble. The Marxian socialist ideas of redistributing wealth is a big government ‘fix’ for the man who falls into financial limbo but it has limitations…it only works when more than 80% of the available population stays on top of their game because any working population under the 50% causes the whole apple cart to collapse. Even the egg head socialists can’t figure their way out because Socialism is more a religion than a political system, therefore, giving up Socialism is akin to giving up their God.

The more people who see the ‘dole’ as a way out, the fewer are left to provide their own incomes towards redistribution. The extremely wealthy never pay into the scheme and they control all media so you eventually end up with a two tiered social system of haves and have-not and the media stops talking about it. The haves have the guns and the have-nots don’t…sound familiar?

It seems the hater is around her somewhere…

I think that doctors and patients should have their own way to do things. Sometimes doctors need things replaced or worked on around the house or they like art or they like this or that. Why can’t patients transact with the doctors services and goods not just money. Either the patient or family members willing to help? You know what I mean? Simplify things? Now of course you know it may not work all the time, but I have to wonder how much headaches can be saved if patients talk to their doctors and transact their healthcare directly with them?

Well I’m a have not (money) but I sure have my firearms and the haves can have them when they pry them from my cold dead fingers.

Wear it out,
Make it do,
Or do without.”

Liberals never heard of “personal responsibly”, just ask Sandra Fluke.

Some Democrat probably overheard the term being used by someone else at Starbucks and thought repeating it would make him appear less stupid…

Personal responsibility? Oh yeah. That’s what Conservatives have to have when they say something a Democrat doesn’t like.

Down in Warm Springs, Georgia at the FDR Little White House there is a display of all the FDR stuff and in one of the areas is a display about the farmers who were getting government assistance during The First Depression. In that display there was a letter written by FDR that stated that these farmers must meet certain standards for behavior to get this sort of government aid.

Can you imagine NOW if there was some sort of standard that these folks were held to to get government aid…dare I say….Personal Responsibility?

Now I am not an advocate for FDR…but I find the change in expectations from then to now to be sickening and depressing. Next time I am down there I shall take a picture of that part of the display.

IF it is indeed personal responsibility then why is the government involved in the personal side of it? It seems these people do not know what PERSONAL means.

Maybe they’ll make the personal mandate voluntary. You know, like income taxes?

I told my Mom that on paper income taxes are voluntary she looked at me like I was crazy. Of course if we stop paying those we will see the inside of a jail and/or court rather quickly. Government’s true goal is to “mandate” the personal, when that happens then the personal is no longer personal and if someone wants to hold on to his or her personal they get penalized or taxed. It is an evil plan.

Blame the Republicans? Really?! Everyone knows they didnt vote for this, hence the House take over in 2010 and the rise of the TEA Party. Does he really expect people to fall for this too?

“Personal Responsibility” has never been a forte of El Presidente.

Lipstick on a pig, in this case a dead pig, is still just lipstick on a pig. Call it anything you want except constitutional.
