Our thanks for Newsbusters’ Noel Sheppard for this one.
According to the results of the latest Gallup poll, George Bush had a higher approval rating after one month in office than Barack Obama.
“For the first time since Gallup began tracking Barack Obama’s presidential job approval rating on Jan. 21,” the poll revealed, “fewer than 60% of Americans approve of the job he is doing as president…59% of Americans give Obama a positive review….”
In a similar poll conducted a month after President Bush’s first inauguration, his approval rating was 62%.
To repeat, Bush 62%, Barack Obama 59%. This thing is going down in flames faster than the Hindenberg.
Would someone please call Mount Rushmore and put the new Barack Obama addition on hold?

Thank you for posting this!! I have been trying to find a comparison of Bush vs Obama at the same point in their respective administrations. The media acts like the entire universe is throwing laurels at ‘bama. Remember Bush’s 80% approval ratings after 9/11 — I doubt ‘bama will ever see numbers like that unless, after the economy completely collapses due to his economic stimulus, he resigns.
Gives great speeches. Campaigns well. But so far, he’s all hat, no horse.
Obama will ruin this country.
