Sheila Jackson Lee has said some stupid things during her time in Congress, but she topped herself on Thursday when she said, “Today we have two Vietnams side-by-side.”
Lee was apparently preoccupied back in the 70s and didn’t hear the news that there is no more “North Vietnam” and no more “South Vietnam.”
And just wait until she hears about East Germany and West Germany.

What a friggin’ moron. Ask any Vietnam vet about achieving “victory” and they’ll tell you that if Congress hadn’t micromanaged the war, complete with stupid “rules of engagement” we’d easily have won in half the time. But war is messy and politicians like clean hands.

That’s a great idea….though it would never pass this current congress, as my bet would be that 90% of them would fail it, and even at a 3rd grade level. Liberals never have done well with history, so that’s a given…but, unfortuntately, that would likely include the Republican Party at this point in time.

Someone told her that she messed up and they brought up wikipedia and she, then instead of asserting she didn’t know what she was talking about, just came up with a more complicated statement. She is now trying to say that she just wanted to say that we should get out sooner to avoid this being another Vietnam. If she really wanted to say that she would have as it is not a complicated thing to say at all and Dems have been saying that for years. It seems then that she was thinking of Vietnam and then got confused with NK and SK (I am thinking). Then she is still confused because NK and SK aren’t exactly bosom buddies. Liberal policy is EXACTLY why we failed in Vietnam. We were never allowed to win….and we cut and ran, which is what these liberal morons want now. It is why the same successful tactics are being used against us in Iraq and Afghanistan, because they know liberals are weak. They know we cannot take the reality of war…so they use those very same tactics used by the NVA. And when we run away again, due to the same irresponsible liberal policy, the same thing will happen that happened in Vietnam and the terrorists will take over. It is a waiting game for them.
History tells us this…and that the last democrat with any balls at all was JFK….though in reality, there are no democrats anymore. And I guarantee he would be appalled at the state of affairs in the US today.
