“They chant the slogan of change but no change is seen in practice. We haven’t seen any change.”
With those words, Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei rejected President Obama’s YouTube diplomacy, saying nothing would change between the two nations until America changes its policy. He was responding to a video message Obama had sent to Iran’s leaders.
“He (Obama) insulted the Islamic Republic of Iran from the first day. If you are right that change has come, where is that change? What is the sign of that change? Make it clear for us what has changed.”
“Should you change, our behavior will change too,” Khamenei said.
We don’t understand the problem here. The Iranians have huge rallies where they chant “Death to America.” And the Democrats seem to be doing everything they can to bring that about as quickly as possible.
What more do the Iranians want?
