This is honestly one of the funniest video clips ever. Joanne Kloppenburg, the losing Democrat candidate for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, held a press conference on Wednesday to announce that she was demanding a recount.
The following hilarious question and answer ensued:
Reporter: You held a press conference to announce that you were the winner of the election. Do you still feel that you’re the winner of the election?
Kloppenburg: (pause) (continue to pause) (look like a deer in the headlights) (we leave the room to make a sandwich and she’s still pausing when we got back) How I feel … I feel that I have … ummm … been a winner in any number of ways…
The election is apparently not one of them. Kloppenburg knows it, her opponent knows it and everyone in Wisconsin knows it.
