Time magazine’s Joe Klein showed up on CNN’s Sunday “Reliable Sources” on Saturday. He was fired up. Angry. Disgusted.

In general, he’s unhappy about the lack of complexity on cable news. Specifically, he referred to an earlier appearance he made on MSNBC with Ed Schultz. He flat out called Ed stupid, which will undoubtedly come as news to no one except Schultz himself.
“Well, that brings me to point number two. It’s really hard, we choose – cable news chooses – not to really deal with complicated issues with the level of complexity that they deserve. I was on Ed Schultz’ show to discuss Afghanistan. I was just back from there. It is the most complicated issue imaginable. And the guy writes down on a piece of paper, ‘Get out now,’ and holds it up on the screen. That’s so stupid and it’s so unworthy. And it really — it’s one of the reasons why people hold us in lower regard than they do lawyers.”
C’mon, Joe, you work for a news magazine. Tell us something we don’t know.

Note also that Ed Schultz apparently has some difficulties with fitting 2 three-letter words on an 8.5″ x 11″ piece of paper. That must be some pretty tough planning. Maybe a staff meeting would have helped making the two words somewhat equal in size.

WEAPONS GRADE STUPID!!! LOLOLOL Were you ever in the service danybhoy? This quip has a particular military flavor to it. It’s pithy, funny as hell, and has an incredible ring of truth to it. I love reading the posts in this blogsite. WEAPONS GRADE STUPID, man it’s a keeper. I’m putting this one in my scrapbook, if you don’t mind. And OBTW, Ed is indeed WEAPONS GRADE STUPID! I can’t listen to anyone on MSLSD for more than a minute before I get hives.

Thanks, but no I have not. I must give credit where it’s due, I got that saying from Andrew Wilkow. He hosts The Wilkow Majority on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio. This is the best radio show many have not heard of yet.

At some point the most “elite” of the liberals will lose patient with the idiots liberals and will seek to destroy or enslave them as well… No one is safe. With that said Ed is an idiot and who is surprised?
I guess Klein is upset that Ed and his ilk are mucking up the attempt to vilify Fox News as the lone evil out there.
