Boo! More people believe in haunted houses than global warming

This is shaping up as a very frightening Halloween for Al Gore and his global warming acolytes.

A new Pew poll shows far fewer Americans believe there’s solid evidence that global temperatures are rising. The number has plunged from 71% to only 57% in the last 18 months. Fewer people believe that global warming is due to human activity, too. That number has declined from 47% to just 36%.

On the other hand, a recent Gallup poll indicates that 37% of Americans believe houses can be haunted.

Don’t worry. That scary moaning sound you hear is not coming from a haunted house. It’s just Al Gore curled up in the fetal position over in the corner.
