Muslims discovered America, Jesus was Palestinian and other facts in new American textbooks

by editor on October 14, 2010

Columbus? Never heard of him. Jesus? A nice, young Palestinian boy. The Enlightenment, this ain’t.

The Saudi-funded Muslim propaganda machine is now writing textbooks for American public schools. And there’s no telling what your kids might be learning.

CNB.com has the disturbing details:

Saudi-funded textbooks being used in America’s K-12 classrooms.
Teaching, among other things, that Jesus was a “Palestinian,” the state of Israel never existed, and that the Muslims discovered America before Columbus. Some native-American chiefs had Muslim names. At this rate, perhaps even Saudi grade-school textbooks, complete with jihadi and dhimmi declarations, will come to instruct American school-children.

For instance, did you know that Muslims discovered America? Or that Jerusalem is an Arab city? That’s just some of the “history” that students in America’s K-12 classrooms have been taught in recent years–with the help of taxpayer money.

A new report by the non-profit Institute for Jewish and Community Research finds that American high school and elementary textbooks contain countless inaccuracies about Christianity, Judaism, Israel and the Middle East.

The Institute examined 28 of the most widely-used history, geography and social studies textbooks in America. It found at least 500 errors.

One book ignored the Jewish roots of Christianity, saying the faith was founded by a “young Palestinian” named Jesus.

Another stated as fact that the Koran was revealed to Mohammed from God.

Yet another said ancient Jewish civilization contributed “very little” to to the arts and sciences.

For all we know, they also teach that there are 57 states.

Books like these wouldn’t bother me at all and as a matter of fact, be laughable were it not for the fact that our government and unions control how and what our kids are taught nowadays.

Add this to the social justice teachings and we have the makings of a ruined country.

Who would have thought? Islam, a socio/political/military system, stuck in the 7th century with no hope of progression to the 21st, is the center of history! The arabs barely have a cultural history prior to that dude named mohummed, while the Jews have a written history that goes back at least 1500 years prior to the dude.

These people are idiots. While the rest of the world progressed, islam assured they would not. They are, as they should be, marginalized. And until they grow up as a culture, then misogyny, intellectual subversion and a perverted sense of jihad will be the only things they have to offer.

Actually, Thallus, the Jewish New Year just happened, and it is 5771 in their calendar. Since the Moors (muslims) were in the 7th century, 7 centuries after the birth of Christ, it makes the Isrealites (as they were originally known) far older than this group of inept, uneducated cave dwelling terrorists. I could go into the story of the land of Canaan, the Palestinans and Isrealites being nomadic peoples, but it is true that God gave the Land of Canaan to the Isrealites after their release from the tyranny of the Egyptian Pharohs, subsequently stolen by the Persians (Iran)….and then the Jewish People fought for and earned the right to their land, given to them by our collective God.

Sorry for the rant, but I wanted to clear that point up!

Liberals/progressives have destroyed our educational system. As long as they are allowed to control what our children are taught, this nonsense will continue.

If you have children, please take an interest in what they are studying. This crap wouldn’t happen if more parents just paid attention. I am guilty as well. We expect our teachers to do what is best for our children, but it is obvious an agenda is more important than anything to these people.

oh it was the muslims who discovered America-I totally thought it was martians-I am glad that now the textbooks are finally going to tell the truth-that a bunch of animals, without the ability to build a boat, discovered the Americas, rather than the developed European society, or the martians, as my uncle kleblek taught me when I was a boy.

1st question: How does this happen?
2nd question: Are the teachers stupid?
3rd question: Don’t parents go through their kids homework anymore?

I don’t even understand how something like this can happen without any vetting? And if it was vetted that the people that vetted this are not in trouble…

Kimmy, the US educational system (if you can even call it that anymore) has been controlled by liberals for way too long. Even our idiot in chief’s education was paid for by the saudi’s. Our country has been under assault by these incompetent illiterates for at least 60 years and perhaps longer, while our apathy let it happen. It is time to sweep the cockroaches back into the dark with the upcoming election, and then again in 2012.

The cool thing is, it may be, hopefully, a long, long time before America is subjected again to progressive/liberal/communist/socialist/marxist ideology after seeing the damage they convey after the last two years in particular since the cockroaches came into the light where they have now been seen and identified.

It is far past time for liberalism to be outlawed in the US…and let the fools that want to be lemmings go elsewhere with the similar minded braindead.

This is why I am an advocate for home education and if possible private education. Leaving education in the hands of the government IS NEVER a good thing. BUT with that said the parents STILL have a responsibility to themselves and their kids that if they decide to leave them in public schools (or cannot give them home nor private education) that they themselves stay on top of things. However the fact that these things dont get vetted or they do but no one seems to say hey this is wrong is troubling.

These books happen because the people on the textbook committees do not do their freaking jobs. I remember reading where Richard Feynman actually attempted to read the books — half were full of propaganda or nonsense, and one was actually just a pair of covers bound on blank pages.

Caution — reading that article will make you hopping mad as a parent.

1st Answer: See answer to 2.
2nd Answer: Yes.
3rd Answer: No, they are too busy working to support worthless people and their kids or they are worthless people with kids. Or possibly they do read them but are too stupid to know its wrong.

Actually, I blame lazy parents. If we depend upon others to teach our kids to think, we are going to have kids that think what other people tell them to. It is up to us parents to teach our kids to think.

I actually figure that time spent in school is largely wasted for kids anymore. I’ve seen the crap that they bring home to me, and I’m just not impressed. If they sit in a chair for 12 years, collecting their social promotions, they’ll graduate regardless. Pretty much the same for college — the boys had to take 12 hours of ‘gender studies’ at $300 a credit hour — pure unmitigated bullshit.

So I worked with mine, taught them to think critically, and also how to stay out of trouble — just because their teacher’s a useless tool doesn’t mean they need to get detention. On the upside, my kids have a lot going for themselves now. On the down side, they’re pretty pissed off about a system that cheated them of the chance for a real education — those 8 hours a day could have been better spent elsewhere. On the real upside, I don’t think they’ll ever fall for the stuff their idiot teachers fell for.

Well you got something there, more than likely parents who rely on the public educational system HEAVILY and do not take the time to check for accuracies were themselves the victims (and yes… I say victims) of the aforementioned public educational system themselves and didn’t take time to actually educate themselves beyond that. Which is sad and depressing. We got to pray for this country and the future generations.
