Is it possible that people are finally figuring out that his policies are making everything – and we mean everything – worse? His approval rating is starting to crater even faster than the stock market.
The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Tuesday shows that 24% of the nation’s voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-four percent (44%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -20.
The Presidential Approval Index is calculated by subtracting the number who Strongly Disapprove from the number who Strongly Approve. It is updated daily at 9:30 a.m. Eastern. Updates are also available on Twitter and Facebook.
Overall, 42% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the president’s performance. That is the lowest level of approval yet measured for this president. Fifty-six percent (56%) now disapprove of his performance.
Forty-four percent (44%) say the president is doing a good or excellent job on national security issues while 39% give him such positive marks on the economy. Thirty-four percent (34%) say the president is doing a good job handling the Gulf oil spill while 33% give him poor grades on that topic.
The most remarkable thing about today’s Rasmussen poll is that 42% still think Obama’s doing a good job at anything.

I believe the 42% that still believe he’s doing a good job don’t pay attention to what’s going on around them.
It’s undeniable, unmistakable, and frankly, unbelievable that this man is still in office.
If I screwed up my job as bad as he does, I would have been fired a LONG time ago.

Unless something extremely corrupt happens he will not have his job back. Unfortunately he hasn’t done anything illegal that has been caught… yet. You are right in the private sector this man would have been terminated.

The frightening part of all this is, just take the two biggest things that are happening, the financial meltdown and the Gulf. Where is he? What is he doing? He’s going to Chicago this weekend to maybe take in a hockey game. He seems so out of touch with everything.

Par for the course? Using the page you provided, Obama was in positive territory for the entire first half of his first year. He has suffered a huge drop from those magical days before people figured out who he really is. But if you look back just over the last few months, sure, he was just about as shitty a president then as he is now.

Am I wrong? Please tell me if I am. If I’m not, how can you justify saying that -20 is “par for the course”? What number did we cherry pick?

The worst is yet to come, Obama was billed as historic, he is, & in so many ways. He will go down as the worst President in the modern history of the republic, if we still are a republic when he’s done. This is what you get when you elect a man who had almost no real world experience & almost no real track record as a politician. That was by design & it worked. Whether it was voting present all the time in the IL State Assembly or being a Senator for about 3 hours(really 150 days)before running for President, it worked. Because the more people ACTUALLY KNOW, the LESS THEY LIKE about him. He has been rejected indirectly by the voters of Massachustts, Virginia, New Jersey, & Pennsylvania. He supported the losers in elections in those states, & that will be a continued trend into the midterms. Hopefully, the GOP can get their shit together & capitalize on the idiocy that is the Obama regime.
Obama is basically a pitcher who has only 1 pitch, in his case, race, & the opposition has figured it out. Get Obama behind in the count, so to speak, & he’s easy pickings.

There would NEVER be a black president again… Let’s see if a woman is ever elected however she more than likely be white. It stings and hurts me to realize it, but it is the truth. I will be very surprised if a black president is voted in again (male or female) UNLESS we are talking 150 – 200 years into the future. He pissed on it and made it rank for any boy or girl of color to be able to get to that position one day. He is selfish.
