Artist breaks museum vase in protest, then finds out it was worth $1 million. Oops. He thought he was breaking a worthless piece of colorfully painted pottery to make a point about mistreatment of local artists. Turns out it was an ancient Chinese vase from the Neolithic period… six or seven thousand years old.
