Barack Obama’s $7 million Hawaii vacation is an insult to America’s struggling middle class. “In a move that is rich in irony, President Obama agreed Tuesday night to sign an emergency deficit reduction bill that does almost nothing to rein in spending and then jetted out to Hawaii to resume his vacation at an extra cost of more than $3 million to taxpayers.” Nah, shameless hypocrisy is not a bug, it’s a feature – at least for correct-thinking people, anyway.

If he autopenned the signature, why did he come back at all? Couldn’t he have done that in Hawaii? I really hate this guy.

Personally, I would rather be accused of “sounding gay” than “sounding msnbc”. Just sayin’.

Very true. I know plenty of gay people that I have respect for. MSNBC? Not so much.

I believe that I see Reggie in the cart. barry and the wookie feel they are entitled to do what ever they wish on our dime. This explains all of the trips to such places as Vail, France, Mexico just to name a few locations.

Both Bushes have their own places, as did Reagan, Carter had his place as well. The last two dim wit presidents didn’t have a place of their own. Clinton used our money as is barry. I agree fully, every President needs to have a place that belongs to them where they can retreat to and relax. We the tax payers need to stop footing the whole damn bill for these potentates who feel that we the little people owe them every whim and wish. Come to think of it, that is what got Clinton impeached. That and a stained blue dress.

Someone on Fox don’t remember who, said that outside of being President regardless of the money he makes or could have made while not being President, Obama could have never comfortably pay for vacations of this caliber year after year time after time. He can ONLY go on vacations like these BECAUSE he is President. Yet everyone had a hissy fit when Bush went to (what I understand) was a personal property of HIS that he bought and mobilized the White House there in order to stay in touch with what he had to do while he was there. While he went people brought money to the town, helping the town’s economy and since he had a nice piece of land no one had to indispose anyone else unnecessarily or long term. I am sure that tax money was still used (security salaries of course and what not) however I am sure we can see the differences here. If he didnt own the ranch then I am mistaken.

I remember reading that the more considerate Presidents of the past would spend holidays at the White House so that security and necessary staff would be able to have some time with their families in Washington D.C.

I think Ronald Reagan was the last prez considerate of his staff in this manner. No class anymore, just what can I take, remember the last democrat in the White House, how they fleeced it on their way out, despicable people.

He does own his ranch and resides there now I believe. That was a great post. At Bush’s ranch all the anti war sorts protested during his whole second term as well. I wonder who is protesting all these changes in Hawaii? I agree, the man could never have lived as he is now in a private life. I despise him for this. How about having these politicians start living on the salaries paid them and pay for their own vacations.

I agree. I don’t mind having a President that is INDEPENDENTLY wealthy. In fact I welcome that so he can get a dollar a year as a salary and then use his own money for his own personal use and the personal use of his family. The tax money is used for the obvious and not appropriate for him to pay himself costs of him being a President WHILE he vacations. That Guy said that he didn’t even sign the thing himself he auto penned it, what the heck is that crap about? He can’t even BE the President WHILE vacation on OUR dime? Despise is a good word.

Independently wealthy people are less likely to be bought off by bribes, too. They are in the game for POWER. “Cash money” is the currency of unions, terrorists and criminals – which is why the Democrats are so sleazy. The Republicans usually go for the softer payouts (investments) and the power-plays.

“Dear Leader” is showing what a Communist Asshole he really is. Expect him and his Wookie wife to spend 1 billion dollars of Taxpayer money on their extravagant trips over the next 4 years.
One can’t help but wonder how many people that kind of money could help.

He’ll toss the “needy” (by which I mean greedy, lazy entitlists) a few crumbs. HE gets the amazing vacations that Wheel-of-Fortune watchers can’t even begin to imagine – and his voters will get a cell phone. Even trade? You betcha!

Wow it has started already! Obama’s new taxes are here my friends! My first pay check of 2013 was $32 light…..So that will be $128 less I take home each month…..$1536 less I take home in a year! So libs out there please explain to me again how these new Obama taxes don’t affect the middle class making less than $250,000 a year!? Because I am not even in the same time zone of the $250,000 range!! Wow $1536!….. that could have been a nice Hawaiian vacation for me this year…..I guess I will have to take solace that at least Obama got his Hawaiian vacation & it only cost us tax payers $7M to give it to him. Forward!

Don’t forget that he didn’t even bother to sign the bill. He used an auto-pen.

What honor is there in this kind of behavior? Where’s the stewardship? Where’s the statesmanship? There’s nothing here but pure arrogance, excess, and thievery.

Side note: I went to see Lincoln over the holidays. Talk about a black and white contrast!
