Bruised, battered and beaten: The mugshot of thief who received ‘street justice’ from the owner of a stolen bike. This was just too funny not to post. Had this been done in California the bike owner more than likely would have been arrested and the thief set free.

After stealing a bike, Keith Kirk was apprehended by the owner and then came off worse in the fight that followed

You know, I kinda wished I was there. I had just popped up a nice big bowl of popcorn.

From the looks of it, the “fight” was over in less time than it would take to nuke a bag. I’d still like to see a shot of the bicycle owner. Probably not a scratch on him.

one is reminded of this quote:

“That’s all the bullets we had, or we would have shot him more,” Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd told reporters.

I love the comments on the story. Almost all in favor of the verdict. Of course, one bleeding heart had to cry over the justice that was dealt out.

There appears to be some confusion here. The top picture shows a man who was tying his shoes at the top of a flight of stairs. There was a seismic shift throwing him off balance and down the stairs he went. A most unfortunate accident.

Looks like he did that twice.

Looks like he walked into a revolving door. The kind with fists.

Looks more like a “MUGGED” shot!

Only thing I would have been leery of is the high likelihood of getting AIDS from a street person in Ft Lauderdale.

This is simply not fair. Not fair at all I tell you. Why should this person, Mr. Kirk, be the VICTIM of a brutal beating when all he was doing was trying to obtain a bike he deserves? Why should this rich guy Mr. McDougl, obviously a Republican, have a nice bike when this poor Mr Kirk not have one? The reason Mr. Kirk, the victim here, is unemployed and homeless and most likely a drug addict, is merely because of the inhumane policies of George Bush and other evil Republicans. You should all send money, but not me of course, to Mr. Kirk to make me feel better.

Send the money to me, since Mr. Kirk is ((ehem)) disadvantaged. I will see that he gets some of it, after I take off my salary, administration and handling fees.

That’s right, Karmaa. I’m pretty sure tht’s how it is supposed to go. In all “fairness” and stuff
