Cal State U: Hey, we can’t afford to accept grad students from California! “Budget cuts made the system… unable to afford residents’ heavily discounted education… But nonresident students, who pay considerably higher fees, remain welcome, at least at some campuses…” Socialism: everything’s free but the shelves are always empty. After 35 year career writing software for IBM mainframes, am now self-employed contractor thinking of joining a union and striking for higher wages.
