California politician proposes email tax to fund post office. Another California genius. If this Brainiac had been around in 1910 he could have proposed a tax on autos to fund horses.

OK, I’m stupid. Will someone explain to me why e-mail should support snail mail? I mean since there is absolutely NO RELATION ONE TO THE OTHER? Isn’t this like expecting the Dems to support the Republicans?

Oh that’s easy…see, email knocked snail mail up then ran away with all the money and it’s secretary, so now snail mail wants a divorce and is seeking alimony and letter support.

Considering how children, by and large, become more successful than their parents, with the notable exception of Crowley and the occupoopers, email knocking up snail mail, should be the reason for UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.

Sadly this isn’t the first Commiecrat to propose this. Taxing usage is the holy grail of data mining.

My letter carrier is the only conservative in our post office. He wouldn’t mind seeing all the union turds terminated and the PO go commercial.

You mean that companies like FedEx & UPS can deliver packages like the the USPS?

You’d love the one winery owner in Napa who’s a Republican, He’s been known to throw liberals out of his tasting room and listening to him rail about Nancy Pelosi is priceless. We always buy a lot of his stuff.

It’s extremely easy to just use an offshore proxy to get around this. Same reason why Romney and the rest of the 1% pay little taxes, and same reason why you will never truly never be able to fully ban me from this site.

Fuck off crowley, this nation was founded because people got sick of being taxed without having a say. You know? Taxation without representation? California, like all progressive sh!tholes, is all about taxing & regulating the people to death. The tax code & the progressives who keep expanding it ARE THE REASON PEOPLE PARK THEIR MONEY OFFSHORE. So if you want to parrot the OWS 1% bullsh!t, we still have a 1st Amendment, for now. But don’t think for a momount that the evil rich owe you anything, or the rest of us for that matter. Because we owe you nothing. The tax code should be about 3 pages long, not 78,000 pages long. It should be a flat tax, just out of principal of equal protection under the law. I also don’t believe that anyone on welfare should be permited to vote. Those on welfare vote for politicians who promise them free sh!t from those who work & pay taxes. Sometimes it’s cute & funny when the dog mooches, it’s sad when that’s how you get by as a person.

Actually Mr. Editor and Mr. Administrator could ban you in a second if they so chose. THey have done it before. So far, they are humoring you, so be aware you may be on borrowed time.

PS JP and C02 etc: Has anyone looked at Ron Paul’s tax info? How much money has HE made in Congress? Or at least, how much has he admitted to?

Being from Berkeley this progressive pinhead probably thinks reality is when he’s on an LSD trip.

Two items:
First “District 8 Supervisor Gordon Wozniak, who represents . . . the eastern end of the UC Berkeley campus” Only the eastern end? Is Berkley so large that it needs supervisors for the North, South, West (probably the southwest, south east, northwest and northeast, too)??!!!! Talk about waste.

Second–if the poor Postal Service didn’t have to fund its retirees health benefits, it would ONLY have lost $2.4billion. Wow, makes me feel a whole lot better. Just shut this whole place down. UPS and Fed Ex can then handle everything and still make a profit!

If they want to raise a lot more revenue the California Legislature should place “tiny” tax on stupid Progressive proposals; they could eliminate the state deficit in twenty minutes.

There are so many holes in this idea that I can’t even bring myself to type them out. But I guess that’s par the course for liberal logic.

“This” idea? What other ideas do leftards have EXCEPT raising taxes?
