Dear Washington, thanks for my new tax increase. “After all, who’s more qualified to talk about shared sacrifice than those who can vote themselves pay raises whenever they want, pass laws they don’t have to subject themselves to and take vacations all over the world that are bought and paid for by others.” But, thank Gaia we’re not governed by aloof plutocrats like Mitt Romney….

I read the article and the first folks he thanked was the Republican majority in Congress , for calling a 5 % increase the Tax Relief Act of 2012 . Then Harry Reid for not passing any type of budget . Then he thanked his Republican Governor from Iowa , Terry Branstad ( 5th term ) , for growing the size of his state government , while all along promising a 25 % increase in personal income . Lastly Obama for all he has done ( destroyed ) .

If you were for personal freedom / less government and you were battling those that stood for more government / less freedom ; where would you not expect to find the enemy ? On your fighting team !!!

Why is ANYONE surprised with the madness we see coming ? We keep voting for the wolves dressed like sheep , time and time again. We are told to vote for the lesser of 2 evils .

Pink Floyd , in their song ” Sheep ” summed things up well in the middle of the song , ” I’ve looked over Jordan , and Ive seen , things are not what they seem ……… , What do you get for pretending the dangers not real , meek and obedient you follow the leader , down well trodden corridors into the valley of steel , What a surprise ! A look of terminal shock in your eyes , now things are what they seem , no this is NOT A BAD DREAM ….

Again the question I ask , what are we leaving for our children ?

I liked this: How about we change our national motto from “In God We Trust” to “Thank you, sir, may I have another?”

A mere tax increase would have been bad enough . . . but on a the back of a cost of living increase that is at least ten times as big . . . well there are going to be a lot of hurting people out there thanks to Obamanomics.
