Snowing up in NE today.

Doesn’t matter. It’s golf league day and the sun is shining here. It’s still not exactly warm but who cares when the sun is out? 62 degrees feels downright balmy considering it was in the forties yesterday.

It’s mid-May and 60* in San Antonio. Usually it’s high 80’s-90s.

It’s 52 at my house up in Spring Branch right now. And wet, we got 3.5 inches of rain in about 40 minutes on Wednesday! Poured again yesterday too.

It’s 50 degrees here on the plains, cold for this time of year. The mountains in northern New Mexico may get as much as a foot of snow today and tomorrow. Brother that lives near Moriarty had 3 inches this morning. Globull warming my ass, I had to turn the heat back on this morning!

Yeah, haven’t had a morning yet where I didn’t use the furnace. And I haven’t bothered to replace the storm in the back door with a screen yet. Absolutely no need for a screen so far.

My Tuesday evening golf league has been playing for four weeks now. We’ve actually played only twice. The first night was SNOWED out for the second year in a row. In all the decades I’ve been playing golf that has never happened before the last two years. SNOWED out. In April. We couldn’t play the third week either, because it was raining and it was 40 degrees out. Rain wouldn’t stop us normally. But being wet AND cold seemed too much. Even the second week and two days ago, when we actually played, I half froze out there. When you get to my age and you’re trying to swing a golf club as hard as the young guys, it’s rather problematic when your back is cold. Which is my subtle way of saying I was practically a cripple the day after playing, both times.

I swear, we’re entering an ice age.

It wasn’t that long ago – 3 months? – that the warmist experts were confidently predicting an end to January snow in Duluth. They need to keep better track of those pesky decimal points.
