Ed Schultz jealous of Glenn Beck. Very, very jealous. Oh, and did we mention delusional?

by editor on September 2, 2010

Poor Ed Schultz is consumed by jealousy. He can’t stand it that he’s not as popular as Glenn Beck, that Beck’s radio show has a much larger audience than his, that Beck’s TV show audience dwarfs his, and now, that Beck drew 300,000 to the National Mall and he can’t draw flies.

You know it just eats at Ed’s ample gut when he lies awake at night wondering how long it will be until he gets canned by MSNBC and is left with nothing but his sad little radio show.

Schultz: Hold it right there. Before we get to her answer, I could get every union head in this country, I could organize every progressive group in this country, the main bloggers. This could be The Ed March. Folks, 300,000 people on the heels of six months’ promotion, that ain’t no big shakes!

This is no sign that there’s going to be any big turn of events when it comes to the ballot box and that there’ll be no Democrats in the Congress. This is not a tea leaf about, gosh, they’re comin’ in November.

Six months’ promotion, NBC News says 300,000 people. I bet I could do that! I bet I could do that with this radio show and my TV show and six months’ production, six months’ promotion, if I had the budget I could equal that march. I know I could! I know I could….

I guarantee you, I could do more than 300,000! It ain’t a big deal!

Translation: “I’m important. Really, I’m important. Big Ed is just as important as that lesbian chick and that pompous ass. I don’t understand why no one watches my show. And that includes the executives at MSNBC.”

If we were Ed – and we thank god we’re not – we’d be a lot more concerned with getting a bigger radio and TV audience. Because when you’re unemployed, Ed, none of those union guys are going to return your calls.

Hell, they probably return them now.

“It’s Ed Schultz on line 3, Mr. Trumka.”

“Oh, my god. Not him again. Tell him I’m in a very important meeting.”

The line where Ed says, “This could be The Ed March.”…..just goes to show it is all about him trying to beat Glenn. His event was about restoring honor. Eds event is all about Ed.

What a dickhead!

That is probably the thing that bother me the most. Glenn’s rally was about a Higher Power and about other people and they coming together for the good of each other and the country. Ed is all about his ego. That just exemplifies how the lunatic left continues to miss the point and are self centered and stupid.

“The Ed March”, right, marching straight over the effing cliff. This rant is all about Ed. More me now, did I mention me? But the other part is just as funny. He says he could get all the unions, their bosses, & their members to fill the National Mall. Let’s say this happens, & on 10/2/10, they will have a gathering. You WILL see all these union members with their matching t-shirts & professionally printed signs. Beck had NONE OF THAT at 8/28.

Everything was bottom up for Beck’s rally, Ed is talking about a straight up, organized union rally. He would need that to bring any actual attendees to anything involved in showing up at a Ed rally. In other words, many of those there will be PAID TO BE THERE, & TRAVEL WILL BE PAID FOR to get their members to this rally. Here is the bottom line, Ed is going down. He got pissed off & threw a Hall of Fame hissy fit about not being included in the BSNBC election night coverage when he was’nt included in the promos.

Despite the fact that Ed is a dumb bastard, even he knows that, in broadcasting, if you are not being promoted, you are on the way out. He sees that, & he’s feeling the heat. Ed’s radio show has no ratings, his TV show has worse ratings, & his book has almost no sales. He sold 85 books last week, NATIONALLY. Ed knows he’s in trouble, & he is now been lashing out AT EVERYBODY, & he getting worse then he was already. He’s melting down in public, & he is too big of a prick for anyone to feel bad for him. SUCK’S TO BE ED.

He says, he could get all the unions, as if union membership automatically dulls the mind. SEIU members had dull minds when they got their jobs, so the propaganda sank in easily. I’m a union member, Local 12 of the International Union of Operating Engineers. For over 30 years. And I still don’t buy the leftist propaganda. So I wouldn’t be going to Ed’s march.

There is a difference between what the union leadership believe & what the rank & file believe. Many in the rank & file believe that their union bosses no longer speak to their needs. They give money to political candadates who run on an agenda that is contrary to what many members who like. Things like taxes, gun rights, & corperate regulations. They really have no say because too often, you must be in the union to work where they work(BTW, I work in such a workplace). If union membership were so great, it should be volentary, not manditory. Side-note, that should also go for Social Security as well.

Well said Dany… In my work place union membership is mandatory and the majority of the work force don’t agree with the agenda the bosses push. If it was put to a vote, I would wager that more than half the membership would vote out the union in favor of working directly for the company… I know I would.

Isn’t it interesting that he would rather be in the company of union bosses than in the company of G-d fearing patriotic every day Americans? It tells you a lot about his priorities.

Kimmy, first off, most “G-d fearing patriotic every day Americans” don’t have the big, big money to throw his way that the union bosses have from squeezing the membership to death in the name of mandatory dues, mandatory political action contributions, & mandatory political defense fund contributions. And second, “G-d fearing patriotic every day Americans” aren’t socialist thugs poised at the top of the elitist food chain like the union bosses are. Over two decades ago when I was required to “join” a union because it was the only way to get work in my chosen field, I asked all the old-timers I new about unions and how they operated, and they all said the same thing; they are Communist organizations that they would never join… I kind of laughed that off and joined anyway. Today, I see that they were right and regret all the years I wasted paying those union @ssholes to help destroy the nation I love.

That tells me right off that he KNOWS he couldn’t convince every day patriotic Americans to contribute money to him or his rally like Beck did, something else that most completely drive him insane. Fox didn’t give Beck money, it was his own money and donations that made that rally happen. The Republican party didn’t give him any money either. That most piss Ed off to know that he wouldn’t be able to get that kind of support from non political and non union entities.

I can understand some people who believe that unions have helped them, but in my short time (comparatively working) I have come to see the dangers of unions and how awful and corrupt overall they are.

UNION STRUCTURE AND COMPOSITION

5% – Union Officials, Agents, & Patrolmen: Elitist Socialist Thugs living off the wages of the Unions members.

15% – Union Agitprops, Organizers, & Toadies: Lick-spittle Thugs and Enforcers that circulate amongst the membership for the purpose of dispensing Union propaganda and preforming espionage for the Officials.

20% – True Blue Union Stooges: Made up of the most non-productive elements in the Membership They hang the Moon on the Union for “protecting” them from the “Big Bad Capitalists” who under normal condition would fire them for being worthless.

60% – The actual workers who for one reason or another were required to “join” as a condition of employment. These individuals may pay lip service to the Union, but conduct their lives according to the dictates of their hearts. Most are Conservatives who do not support the Union and go to great lengths to avoid involvement in the Unions Socialist agenda. In a nut shell: people who just want to work and be left alone… especially by the Union & Big Government.

I just thought of this as I read your post. How many union pension plans are underfunded? Then look at the difference between what the percentage the rank & file pensions are funded at compaired to the union leadership pensions. Many unions workers funds are at around the 60-70% level, which is not good. In contrast, the leadership funds are often at over 100%. Union solidarity only goes so far, too often it does not.

So Ed do it. Once you announce it I will go to KoS or another liberal website and bet that you won’t be able to do it… Easy money!

Notice how he had to qualify his statement saying, “if I had the budget”.
That’s a built in excuse as to why he can’t do it too.
