This isn’t related to election night comments but I have to vent this. I was listening to the CBS Liberal Radio News at the top of hour (8am MT) and the opening story was the unemployment report. The story started out, “There is good news in the unemployment report issued today, 150,000 new jobs were created”. Then some blah blah blah about projections or maybe something about getting their new presidential knee pads. It wasn’t until the end of the story they finally mentioned (sadly) that the unemployment rate was unchanged at 9.6 percent. I wish my washer could spin that well.

Mr. Maddow dressed like a girl. Is he gay?

You’d have to like men to be gay. I’m assuming he is asexual.

Well, judging by the photo of Captain Zero calling to congratulate John Boehner, Obama really doesn’t give a shit. Not that it is surprising or anything, but you’d think that he’d put down the f’ing Crackberry for a photo-op. I’d like to know what was oh-so-important as to be multi-tasking during that phone call….reminds me when Monica was doing Bill while he was on the phone to a member of Congress talking about Veterans issues.

I guess dumb and Dumber from the Comedy channel were right… “Sanity” has been restored in America!!! But our work is not done, in 2 years we need to finish strong; the House, Senate, and Presidency…

That will be THE night to watch MSNBC and the lefts lackeys!!! If that happens there WILL be weeping and gnashing of teeth…

I was wondering why MSNBC, CNN (ie the usual suspects) seemingly enjoy getting their asses kicked by Fox News year after year in the cable ratings. Fox went to #1 in January 2002 and hasn’t been beaten since. If I were in charge of MSNBC or CNN or HLN. well wait, bad question. If I was in charge of MSNBC or CNN I’d probably just eat a Glock for breakfast. But seriously, why do the others seem content to eat Fox’s dust for the last 8 years and counting?

They’d have to hire more then just a token Conservative and that’d change the whole ton of the stations from boot-lickers to an actual news organization. Can’t have that now.

If you worked at MSNBC or CNN, got a nice pay package, & did’nt have to produce ratings, why would you be unhappy? They show up, go on the air, do their shows, & they don’t ned ratings. People like Larry King & Chris Matthews have’nt had a decent ratings book in about a decade, but still have their shows. King is retiring/forced out, but Matthews…

ComCast will have some major decisions to make when they assume control of NBC-U, their purchase is going through the regulatory process. Will ComCast keep Matthews if he can’t really grow his audience? Not just beating CNN, who cares about that. But actaully gaining on Beck(early)& Shep(late). Will they keep Olbermann if he can’t gain on O’Reilly at $8million a year? He’s already a total pain in the ass, but you should be way better in the ratings to be that much of a diva. Madcow? She’s safe for now, there is too much invested in her for her to get the sack. Last, & certainly least, Special Ed might be gone. His ratings suck ass, he is emotionally unstable, & will have to work for the minimum to stay at MSNBC. That’s if ComCast even wants him on their roster.

I can hardly wait. I want the bloodbath to begin at 30 Rock. Bring it on.

Keith Olbermann really is a miserable human being along with all the other pricks at MSNBC. Keep fear alive you bums.

Fox news officially reported that the house is to Republicans.

Don’t screw this up guys. And if Obama takes credit for anything you do that is good, don’t let him get away with the lies.

Yeah. Six more years of Scary Harry.. .
And Moonbean, ye gods.
And bouncing barbara enters her 29th year of over the top liberalism.

Ain’t we Californians lucky?

SCDiver

I am absolutely baffled about that. It is completely beyond my comprehension… I seriously thought Nevada might actually do the right thing and I had a glimmer of hope for CA about two weeks ago. That drained off, as the days went by though.

So sad…

Couple of things…

1.Yeah, “Dingy” Harry Reid survived, but he does keep the “Cluster-Schmuck” Schumer from taking control of the Senate leadership. Don’t get me wrong, they both suck, but Reid is way dumber then Schumer as a leader. So if you look at the bright side, Reid is worse for the Dems agenda.

2.California…Governor Jerry Brown, AGAIN? Wowee, he has sucked for 2 terms already, & he will suck for a 3rd. The Golden State will see an exodus of buisinesses, & people who are productive & pay taxes. The recipient class has won the day, the state unions, the illegals on welfare who drain CA’s social services, & those who believe they are owed something from gov’t are the winners. By winning, everyone loses, including the rest of the republic. When say, San Francisco decides they want to have a single payer health care system that serves those who pay for nothing, & THEN THEY RUN OUT OF MONEY. They then go to the California state house in Sacramento & beg for a bailout, who in turn goes to Capital Hill in Washington for their bailout. The GOP Congressional ladership needs to deny any bailouts to CA, & ANY OTHER STATES that goes down the socialist rathole. They need to be allowed to bottom out.

Great points, as always, danybhoy!

Thank you very much.

BTW, Minnesota update…
1. It looks like former US Senator D-Mark Dayton beat R-Tom Emmer to win the State House, but there will be an automatic recount.
2.Michele Bachmann wins MN-6 for another term.
3.18 term D-Jim Oberstar lost in MN-8 on the “iron range” to Chip Cravaack. He is a Navy man. This was a biggie.
4.In my district, MN-2, John Kline won his 5th term last night. He is a former US Marine.

Plus 10 minutes away from me in Wisconson, Russ Fiengold is gone, thanks to R-Ron Johnson. David Obey, who went to Congress in 1970, did’nt run for re-election because he saw what was coming. Also, R-Scott Walker won the statehouse over D-Tom Barrett.

It will be intersting, plus the Dakotas look better as well. Well done South Dakota & Kristi Noem! Plus, no D-Earl Pomeroy in North Dakota, plus R-John Hoeven takes D-Byron Dorgan’s place in the Senate. Nice!

So glad for the number of Rs that won (especially the service members) but especially happy about Russ being given the boot!

Hey DB, you certainly did put up a very good comment. I live in Socialistafornia. I can’t explain it. Did they drink too much Kool-Aid? Is the sun in their eyes? Are they just high on Yami-Yogurt? Nah. When you look at the Red/Blue maps Ca is overwhelmingly RED. The only blue is in the cities. This is where the illegals live, (and VOTE) You aren’t encouraged to display ID to vote. Just tell ’em your name.
***STOP***
So why do you think Obomie-the-commie thru such a hissy over AZ trying to lock up their borders????? (Hint: See Socialistafornia, above.) This is why this MUST be stopped.

IF you voted:Thanks! If you didn’t, then vote two or three times to make up for it!

Karl Rove and the FNC gang was beating up on Juan Williams. I thought he was going to cry. (he is a liberal, why else would NPR have hired him?)

danybhoy
Member

Williams made 1 of the best points of the night though. He said that when you look at many of the committee leaders in the Dems side in Congress, they are very old. People like Rangle, Dingle, & others are fossils & will leave a void in their ranks in the next few election cycles.

Geraldine Ferraro sandwiched in between Megyn Kelley and Sarah Palin-now that is a stark, stark, stark contrast.
That is like Sasquatch with scarlette johansen on one side and rachel mcadams on the other. It is just too much for the mind to ponder!

Dear Mr. Obama,
A) I didn’t vote for you and you’re not my president.

B) Put whatever spin on it you want as long as you understand what really happened tonight. We spoke. Better listen.

Don’t bet the farm Mrs Henderson.
I’m betting he is going to grab his liberal ball, and run as far left as he possible can, as quickly as he can. Think we’re gonna repeal Obomie-care? Not unless we grab the bill out of his cold dead hands. (now there’s a thought!) Crap and Tax? He’ll cram it through with an executive order. Return the Bush tax cuts? Not on your life. He’ll do all this before they swear in the new House. This is gonna be a very ugly Christmas.

SCDiver

He was talking about clean energy, today… Sounds like Crap and Tax is his next move…

The more vial the liberals act the better.
We should encourage them to keep it up, look what its done so far..
Keep them talking, the more the better.

I know this isn’t breaking news, but Keith Olbermann is a stone-cold prick. He just finished poking fun at John Boehner choking up during his speech. I knew it was coming, and I was still stunned. Would a little bit of grace absolutely kill him, or anyone at MSNBC? Honestly. Would not a silent smirk, and a quick cut to break, have accomplished the same thing? I guess it’s like the old saying: Better to keep quiet and have everyone believe you’re fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt. Thanks, Keith, for clearing that up for us.

danybhoy

Most people Olby has worked with think he’s a stone cold prick as well. BathTubBoy burns his bridges wherever he’s been.

John Boehner giving a victory speech for GOP control of the House and I’m thinking he’s on double secret probation. If the GOP rolls over and makes nice with Democrats I’ll be drinking a lot of Tea in 2012.
