ESPN removes Asian-American announcer from upcoming Virginia football game because… [wait for it, wait for it] his name is Robert Lee and that might remind some delicate snowflake of Confederate General Robert E. Lee, who died almost a century and a half ago.

Too funny; seems a long-time ESPN commentator shares a name with an infamous Nazi:

What will the nimrods at ESPN do now?

This was a story that just brought so much mirth into my life today… *sighs* Leftists are indeed their own worst enemies are they?

I think he has a great discrimination lawsuit. I’d love to see him sue their balls off.

Oh absolutely! He was absolutely discriminated against AND for no real credible reason. Even if they had the right to make the move… seriously?

Also, the INSULT to ESPN viewers! Either 1. They are dumbasses 2. They are easily triggered children 3. Assuming they care about political crap when they only want to watch sports.

I would be insulted if I were a viewer… anyone actually watches ESPN because there are like sooo many sports channels right now.

ESPN (from what I’ve seen at the gym locker room while changing) seems to be all the people from public school that I remember back when I went to the inner city junior high for about 3 months during the Fall of 1971, where the rejects of the town who ran the joint were puffed up about their rank and the children did whatever they wanted, and praised for it, provided they were the children of the local rejects.

An ESPN (anonymous of course) employee sent out a note that ESPN was worried about meme’s and jokes about the guys name so they decided to replace him. Best comment on Twitter after the ESPN moron tried to explain it away?

“Gosh I didn’t know Robert E. Lee was asian. Whoda thought?”

I quit watching BSPN on a regular basis over twenty years ago when they decided to introduce political commentary into Sportscenter, etc.

I grit my teeth and tune in if there’s a football game I want to watch but I’ll mute the TV and listen to radio commentary on the internet.

This is a Top 10 entry for stupidity in broadcasting. Tucker Carlson reported on it, saying it HAD to be a hoax, but it’s true.

Maybe he should go transgender and declare himself a woman. I suggest Christy Jock Strap for her nom de plume.

Maybe he can change his name to Mohammed Lee…Or perhaps Cliff Dweller or Clarence Sail, something snappy and politically correct. ESPN is a bunch of assholes..

How about Hillary Muhammad Margaret Sanger Kennedy Lee? The honchos at ESPN would probably have an orgasm just saying his name.

Talk about a bunch of FOOLS. ESPN has become nothing more than a PC BULL SHIT channel pretending to be a sports channel. Hells bells, who is next? Tim Tebow for his religious beliefs? Yes Tebow works for an ESPN spin off the SEC Network.

The unfortunate part of this is that if Mr. Lee wishes to continue in the sportscasting business he’s probably going to have to change his name. Speaking of names, ESPN is giving stupidity a bad name.

The particular brand of East Coast liberalism that infests the employees of ESPN and has been running this country for the last few decades is so friggin’ STUPID I can’t believe these people have enough neurons to enable them to breathe and swallow solid food.
