Americans estimate that the federal government wastes 51 cents of every dollar it spends, a new high in a Gallup trend question first asked in 1979. The low point in the trend was 1986 when the estimate was 38 cents. Let’s see, who was president then? Yeah, we WISH Obama was more like him. But we have a proposal for Lizzy Borden Warren: since you people WASTE more than half the money you take from us, we should be able to just give you 49% and nothing much would change, right? Well, nothing much besides the economy recovering, unemployment decreasing, minor stuff like that.
