Get ready for the fall…in temperature! Unseasonably chilly August ahead for the eastern two-thirds of the US with 60F lows lasting up to TWO WEEKS. Quick! Someone alter the temperature data so we have the ‘warmest summer ever’ with ‘unprecedented’ heat. Al? Oh Al?

Now now, weather is not climate unless it suits the alarmists.

They’ll call this global climate disruption. The “science’ is really easy and the labels they attach are ever changing, just like the weather.

Climate, not weather.
Get the libtard terms right!

If y’all could ship some of that cool weather out here to California, Oregon, and Washington, it would sure be appreciated.

Al Gore is wrong again. I am shocked!

Well, there’s a reason they switched from calling the crap global warming to calling it climate change.

I’m a weather geek from northern Indiana that is a trained weather spotter. The low this morning was under 54 degrees which is weird for August around here.

I usually sleep with my window open because I don’t want Al Bore to get pissed at me for using AC.(Sarcasm intended) This morning while sleeping, it was so fricking nippy out I had to dig out an extra blanket because I was so chilly and you’re talking someone that generally likes cool weather.

Yeah, it’s been freakishly cool here in Michigan, too. And not just now, it was freakishly cold in June, to the point where I was worried that Lake Michigan wouldn’t warm up enough for swimming in time for our vacation week in July.

I’m around 25 miles SE of Lake Michigan as the crow flies and I wouldn’t dip my toes in it if you paid me. According to NOAA(Heh), the water near the shore is around 71.8 degrees at the surface which sounds okay but really isn’t that warm once you immerse yourself in it.

Don’t worry, NOAA will figure out how to make all those cold temperatures disappear and discover a whole bunch of brand new hot temperatures from thermometers strategically placed in Death Valley to replace them. Gonna be another record-hot August.

When the USSR went down, something like 2,000-3,000 weather stations went down with it including the ones in Siberia, one of the coldest (Barely)habitable places on the planet. At the time, they were included among the ones used to calculate temperatures. Since TPTB go by average/median temperature to prove their point, that maaaay have affected global data just a bit.

A lot of the weather stations in the US are located next to asphalt surfaces such as airport runways. Gee, that won’t affect “official” temperature readings. /sarcasm

I can’t remember the designation but NOAA bases its measurements for averages based on an algorithm that computes the average for the previous thirty(?) years. I believe it’s called X12 or something like that.

One climate skeptic launched a project to measure temperatures at as many surface stations as possible. It looks like it hasn’t been updated in awhile though.

I loved it when they showed the temp recording points set up next to A/C outside units, on tar rooftops, and other unusually hot areas that would give phony readings.
Did you see the Aussies just had to admit that they faked a crapload of temp readings?
