Day One in the White House: President Obama works in the Oval Office in his shirtsleeves. The president’s explanation? He cranked up the thermostat because he hates to be cold.
During the campaign Obama said, “We can’t drive our SUVs and, you know, eat as much as we want and keep our homes on, you know, 72 degrees at all times.”
So why has Obama now cranked the Oval Office thermostat up that high? “He’s from Hawaii, O.K.” said Obama aide David Axelrod. “He likes it warm. You could grow orchids in there.”
Agricultural experts say the other thing that helps grow those orchids is the extraordinary amount of BS currently being spread in the Oval Office.
