Healthcare hypocrisy: “111 company waivers from the health care bill … means that Obamacare is an abject failure.”

by editor on November 16, 2010

Michele Bachmann, Minnesota’s fiery Republican, went after the Obama administration’s healthcare hypocrisy on Monday, pointing out the abject failure of a policy that has already granted 111 waivers (list here):

Bachmann: What an abject failure is this government takeover of health care that fully 111 waivers have been issued? What does this mean? This is an admission of failure by the White House. They may not be admitting it, but their actions are admitting it. Why? Because we see universities and unions and favored companies are getting waivers. What’s a waiver? It’s an exemption. Why do they they need an exemption? Obamacare is a cost driving hiker. It’s a failure.

We were told we had to pass Obamacare. We couldn’t wait. We couldn’t even read the bill. We couldn’t take the time to even debate it. Because why? President Obama promised us, he promised that it would drive down the cost of health care. He promised. He promised.

As Joe Biden might say, this can all be explained in one simple three letter word: Liar.

Beck says that most (if not all) of these companies are companies that either gave Obama money or that wrote or were part of the writing and implementation of the Obama”care” package. Disgusting. Blatant and absolute hypocrisy and corruption. Like Dany says socialism is good for you, but not good for me (the socialist).

I don’t know about you guys, but my state just voted to not use the government health care system. I also know there are *at least* twenty states preparing to sue the government over this issue.

Don’t give up or give in, there is always hope.

We are not doomed to forced participation in this medical fascism so long as we have a 2nd Amendment. If the bastards show up at my door, at least some of them won’t be leaving under their own power.

This is a true case of discrimination , and a violation of civil rights . If I owned a business I would file for this exemption , and if refused , I would file a lawsuit . Hit them where it hurts , The pocketbook

Sadly, you wouldn’t win. They have the resources of every single taxpayer’s hard-earned pay at their disposal — even if they lost, the real loser is the USA.

Consider the waivers hush money.

We have a local and much needed privately owned Health Care facility in our area that broke ground long before Obama was just a bad dream and is due to open Spring 2011. They too lobbied for a waiver to be allowed to maintain their business model of private doctor owned facility, because without the waiver the hospital would have to buy out the doctors. What is pathetic is on one hand the hospital argues that buying out the doctors would exhaust precious capital that would otherwise go to expanding their services, while on the other hand the hospital supports the health care law as being a way to protect consumers. Isn’t the hospital protecting consumers by having the services necessary for good care available to them, whereas if they buy out the doctors those services will not be made available – ever. This to me is a classic case of what happens when the government sticks their crooked finger in air and says they know better. It’s bullshit. The hospital doesn’t want to raise a stink because they need medicare and if they don’t get a waiver and the law follows through they don’t get medicare patients. See how the government gets people to go along with a bad idea?

It is not a failure at all. What Mrs. Bachman, and most of the conservative press are assuming is that barry and nancy wanted the healthcare system to work well. The whole purpose of the health care bill was to control the masses, not to provide healthcare to everyone.
The sooner people realize this, the better. The waivers have been granted to unions and a few very large companies, who are already “controlled” by the government….SEIU, etc are already tentacles of the DNC/Progressive Party/Communist Party. They are wholly owned by barry and company-and have long been enslaved to the left.
The rest of us out here are doomed to be placed into the gubment system, against our will, when we are taxed to serfdom and can’t afford the drastic increases to private coverage.
So, when Bachman, or any other Republican or Conservative commentator say it is a failure, remember, it isn’t-it is perfect-they are paying back their supporters, and those they already control with waivers, and forcing the rest of us to trudge through the system they have built-that will have, one day, all of us, those who got waivers and those who didn’t, on the gubment plan, facing death panels, pharmaceuticals made in china and mexico in disgusting factories, as filthy as slaughterhouses.
All part of the plan Michelle, all part of the plan!

Don’t forget about captain elliot’s party boat.

I’m not sure who Captain Elliot is, but I’m curious what/who he had to blow to get the special union pension treatment.

Exactly what I’ve been saying about Obongo & his cronies agenda since they appeared on the scene back in 2006-07 Matthew. I’ve concluded that at this point, anyone who still supports Obongo & his cronies are either A.) Monumentally Naive, B.) Worthless Entitlement Leaches, C.) Ignorant, or D.) Totally On-board With Obongo & his cronies Plan to Destroy America…. Maybe even all of the above… after all, libtards are THAT stupid.

EXACTLY! I would give you two thumbs up if I could. Overall the problem here is that this was never meant to be for our good, it was meant to be for their control over us. That is all. I think that people want to give him the benefit of the doubt* because they cannot imagine that a US president would be this evil, but ahem it is not the first time that a US President has been evil or done things with evil intentions even if the Prez himself feels it is for the good of the people he is either self deceiving or just a liar… (*like O’reilly I am sick of you giving him the benefit of the doubt and not KNOWING why Obama does what he does… even though he is told all the time and continually why he does what he does… wake up man).
