Obama Plays Race Card, Calls on Churches to Support Campaign. “Imagine if Paul campaign launched ‘Whites for Ron Paul?’” What happened to that separation of church and state liberals scream about all the time? Oh, sorry we forgot, rules only apply to conservatives.

The threads of IHTM are being littered with a new profusion of heaping troll spoor because some people are feeding it again. Thousands of words repeating the same old spew, having to page down three or four times to get past troll shit because it gets renewed interest in goading responses from people. If you must feed the troll, at least be a responsible troll feeder and thumb its crap down quickly.

Relax, Kimmy. These posters aren’t “educating” in any way, shape or form. And now, I think it’s time for YOU to move on, don’t you? Seeing as how you apparently have no intention of joining the actual discussion?

If I want to see the ideas of the left on display, I’ll go to somebody who can explain them better. I most likely still won’t believe in them, but I’d at least like somebody that you can actually discuss the ideas with. So, any ideas on where that can be done?

Actually, I have never met a liberal who could explain their ideas, perido. They do a lot of rehashed quotes, and point to what they feel is wrong (everything) but no ideas, no solutions, no REASON why they supposedly believe the drivel they quote as gospel truth. And when you ask them about things that are inconvenient, they have never heard that story, or quote, or seen that chart. They live in a very circumscibed bubble.

I don’t know, but the black people I know are more astute and pissed off than that. Give them a little more credit for brains than that. Being asked to vote for him because of his skin color is highly insulting, especially when he’s tested positive for no positive results for them.
****************************
1) Got a direct quote from Obama, in which he proposed that people should vote for him “because of his skin color”? Didn’t think so.

2) What solutions do YOU (or any of the clown lineup that you support) have to offer, to put more unemployed black Americans back to work, and to ensure that they have better opportunities to move ahead? Got any ideas at all, other than corporate giveaways and “it’s all your fault that you’re poor” pep talks? Didn’t think so.

3) I’ll ask you the same question I asked someone else (who promptly ran and hid): why would you assume that you’re better equipped than black community leaders to understand what’s best for the black community? Because, if Obama is so bad for them, don’t you think they’re smart enough to figure it out without any help from a bunch of self-important white right wingers?

Will these churches lose their tax exempt status? NO way NO how, barry is a racist and he proves it every time someone is willing to challenge his agenda.
*****************
Which race do you see him demeaning, Deep?

It seems to me that YOU’RE the one who’s demeaning a race, when you suggest that black leaders don’t know what’s best for the black community, and have to have your (or “someone’s”) help to figure it out.

You know what that makes YOU, don’t you?

Someone within the black clergy needs to ask ol barry this question. What have you done for us and why should we support you? Black unemployment is over 25%. The number comes from the BOLS. Yet, there will be many who will vote solely based on the man’s skin color. By doing this it flies right in the face of Dr. King’s philosophy, dream and legacy.
*******************
And you feel that you’re a better judge than black community leaders of what Obama has done for the black community, because…….? 😉

You see, that’s where you far righters always end up exposing your real sentiments. You have an unfortunate tendency to assume that YOU know what’s best for black Americans, and that they should just let you direct them. That mentality might be popular with the (overwhelmingly white) Tea Party movement, but it doesn’t tend to sit well with minority groups. It didn’t sit well with them in 1862, either—-or during the Jim Crow era.

Tell us what Obama, or Sharpton, or Jackson, have ever done for “the community.
*********************
Obama is ensuring affordable health care for millions who wouldn’t otherwise be able to get it.
He’s also managed to take an economic collapse that was threatening to go into freefall, and turn it around.
As community organizer before he went to law school, Obama helped a lot of minority people register to vote. Oh, wait, you righties don’t consider that to be a good thing, do you? Sorry. 😉
As an attorney, Obama specialized in civil rights cases. Oops—-another action that you righties would be opposed too. Sorry again. 😉
As president, Obama took steps to get us out of a hemorrhaging quagmire that Bush & Co. started, but apparently didn’t know how to stop.
Obama also managed to see that Bin Laden was no longer a threat to us, or anyone else. Remember that guy? The one that Bush vowed to get, and then decided he wasn’t all that worried about him after all?
Obama has also served as a great role model to today’s youth. He’s shown black kids that it really is possible to achieve great things by working hard, no matter what race you are. And, as a caring and responsible husband and parent, he’s shown kids of all races that even a kid from a broken home can get beyond painful experiences, and create his own domestic happiness as an adult.
In short, there are a great many contributions that Obama has made to society, even if Rush Limbaugh doesn’t like to admit it.

Now, suppose YOU tell ME why you don’t believe there are any honest and productive black leaders in the U.S. today. Because that’s what you’re implying. (HINT: Not every black American puts a lot of stock in Jackson and/or Sharpton.) Then maybe you can explain why you think black Americans should listen to a bunch of white reactionaries, instead of making their own political decisions.

I never thought communist street agitators who are known as reverends, but they have no real flock, who are little more then race baiting extortionists as being worth following. There are blacks who should be considered leaders, like Thomas Sowell, Walter E Williams, Alan West, Herman Cain, Robert Johnson, Clarence Thomas, Oprah, JC Watts, Alan Page, Michael Williams, & David Webb, just off the top of my head. Also, thank you for assuming that I don’t believe that blacks in America should be following black leaders. I just think they need to find people to follow who embrace freedom & are not about being the victim. The black folks I just listed, do believe in America, do believe in liberty, & do believe in freedom. They do not believe in the welfare state. Thank you for projecting your racist/racial shortcomings onto me. I always thought that’s how you were wired, thanks for confirming what I suspected.

No, they’re known as ministers or pastors. “Reverend” is a title, not an occupation. And I’d like to see your evidence that these men are members of the Communist party. (NOTE: Demanding equal opportunity for all isn’t the same thing as demanding that all businesses and property be taken over by the State.)

Who are you to dictate which leaders black Americans “should” be following?

And who are you to dictate when racial issues “should” be brought up, and when they shouldn’t?

(But I did get a chuckle out of your pompous claim that Herman Cain, who gets his economic theories from video game themes, has a history of sexual harassment, thinks that if you’re not rich it’s your own fault, and who is apparently a complete ignoramus about foreign policy, makes a better role model than Barack Obama. Apparently your head is easily turned by anyone with money.)

…yeah it’s short, & yea, collective anything is socialist at the very least. He learned this through Black Liberation Theology is basically a marxist theology, designed in South America to infect the church with marxism. Those pushing it figured out that was the easiest way to gain the support of South Americans & gain power.

As for race, everything is racist when you disagree with BHO, everything. Since he has countless people running flak for him, he does’nt actually need to do it himself. The MSM, & the CBC are more then willing to carry his water with the race card.

What “double standards”?

Why would any honest American have a gripe about a minority group getting together (in the case of black Americans, the church has traditionally been the center of the community) and supporting the candidate who’s most sensitive to their particular concerns?

Sounds to me as if you have a problem with black Americans working together for a common cause.

Fail.

No problems at all so long as every house of worship – regardless of their members’ ethnicity – has the same respect accorded them. The problem with lefties like you is that you’ve yet to enjoy color blindness.

I’ve seen the letter from the IRS my pastor received which threatened to revoke our church’s 501c3 status because a member was granted permission to hand out guides detailing presidential, congressional and state candidates’ positions on issues social and economic. An offended party reported the church to Irwin R. Shyster because they felt the guides were doing just that: “guiding” voters toward whom they should vote for. All they did was highlight where candidates stood on issues… issues important to the 1,500+ members of our shared faith community comprised of Americans of Caucasian, African, Hispanic and First Nations descent.

If the guide was, in fact, encouraging people toward whom its authors thought our members should vote for, what’s diff between that and what the Divider-In-Chief is doing? Why is it alright for one religious group to politically engage and not the other?

Answer: double standards.

We’re never going to unite until we’ve done so under the issue of character content, not skin color.

And in what way does his message show disrespect to Americans who aren’t black? When a Republican candidate encourages Christians to work together for his election, does that show disrespect to Jews? Of course not.

Did Obama propose that members hand out voting guides in church? I don’t recall him doing that in the video. If he did, he was wrong to do so. But there’s a big difference between encouraging one’s friends at church to work together on a political campaign, and encouraging clergymen or members of the congregation to use church services as campaign meetings. Just as there’s a difference between a public school student praying to himself before a test, and a teacher asking the whole class to pray together.

What I’m hearing from you is, “I’m a white right wing male, and I know better than you do what’s best for you.” Sorry, Jayhawk, but black Americans were forced to listen to that kind of mentality for 200+ years, and all it got them was further oppression, poverty and marginalization. Ever stop to think that they might have good reason to put more trust in their own community leaders, or a president who knows a thing or two about black communities and their needs, instead of a we-know-what’s-best-for-you angry white reactionary?
