Politicizing the Iraq Withdrawal President Obama claims his total troop withdrawal by year-end was always the plan. In fact, thousands of our military would be staying longer, training Iraqis, but for the administration’s diplomatic incompetence.

He’ll want to have them home before the elections so he can BRAG about how many troops lives he saved from the war and pat himself on the back. He promised ALREADY to pull the troops as soon as he got in office which was what, over 1000 days ago? First he needed to start 2-3 more wars that way his cronies and special intersts groups made a few more billion dollars not to mention running the debt skyhigh. Who was questioning Cain’s ability to run the presidency again?

Two results of stumbling along the road of ‘Foreign Diplomacy’, like a drunken sailor, at 2:00 am, knocking over trash cans are:
1) Creating a horrendous foul smelling mess that nobody wants to touch.
2) Waking up the neighborhood.
Has a tendency to piss people off to the point of taking care of the ‘the problem’ themselves, usually with a ‘less than desired’ outcome for all parties involved.
Don’t know how factual the following link is, however it is a good read.

And the Iranians can’t wait till the end of the year. Sort of reminds me of something Nevil Chamberlain did back in “38”.

I just returned home from a neighborhood gathering to say goodbye to a neighbor that is leaving in one week for a one year deployment to guess where? Yep, Iraq. After some training her unit (270 some) is scheduled to arrive in Iraq on Jan 2, 2012. When questioned about the total withdrawal that is supposed to happen by Jan 1 she said, that is just stuff for the media to fluff up. She says, it wont happen but they’ll tell the media it did. Also said we will have troops in Iraq for a long time.
More bullshit from the Bullshitter In Charge for the media to fawn over him.

“Elwood: What was I gonna do? Take away your only hope? Take away the very thing that kept you going in there? I took the liberty of bullshitting you.
Jake: You lied to me.
Elwood: Wasn’t lies, it was just… bullshit. “

Not sure what to make of it all…. I think the immunity issue would be the deal-breaker anyway — too bad if Sock Puppet muffed it; guess the right words didn’t come up on the ‘Prompter. Remember though kiddies, this is now the Current truth: “We always meant to have them home by the end of this year!”*

*Although I’m sure he would preferred bringing them home in, say, September or October of next year…if ya know what I mean…

He didn’t muff it, he sabotaged it.
