Japan invents speech-jamming gun that silences people mid-sentence. Build it right into the teleprompter, right? Unfortunately, it might not work on Obama: “They found that the device works better on people who were reading aloud than engaged in “spontaneous speech” and it cannot stop people making meaningless sounds, such as “ahhh,” that are uttered over a long time period.”

Does this jammer work on pathological liars, like politicians? If so, I guarantee the useless bastards in DC will ban them.

The DNC will first buy a thousand of these and then outlaw the future sale of them.

I laughed at this at first but re-read the very last sentence; “There are still many cases in which the negative aspects of speech become a barrier to the peaceful resolution of conflicts,”. We know speech is Free only if you agree with the neo-commies, scarey.

Obama’s sock puppets are always saying “our problem is messaging” and we keep saying “No, we understand what you’re saying perfectly, we just think you’re WRONG!” The “negative aspects of speech” are not the problem, the fundamental disagreement between the two sides is the problem. Bargain-bin pop psychology thinks every problem can be negotiated away but history shows that view is naive.

That’s the point. They think that if you don’t agree with them, they just need to reword the message so you understand.
They keep saying the same thing over and over, using different words, but still spewing the same old tired crap.
Changing the way you describe of a potato doesn’t make it a papaya, it’s still a potato.

Will it stop Dear Leader from looking like he’s watching a tennis match, back and forth from one teleprompter to the other?

I doubt it, I’ve never seen a bobblehead do anything but.

You know maybe we should be nice to John. It is obvious he has some kind mental disability and he cant get a job because he is believes that we should just give him whatever he wants so that he can continue to live off of mommy and daddy who have to work so he can stay in the basement. Just a thought.

Not at all, John. Let’s take a moment and explore this a little, shall we?

Many people take part in hiding your comments. It is a popular vote.

With a jamming gun, one person can silence another person, someone who they disagree with. You, on the other, hand are NOT being silenced. Anyone who wants to read your comments can still do so.

Apples to apples, oranges to oranges. I don’t see where this is particularly difficult to understand.

LA, you have to remember who you’re talking to.
Everything is a personal affront to him.
He is unable to comprehend the fine points of how this website works.
He thinks the whole world is against him because he wasn’t smart enough to major in something useful.

“The device works by recording its target’s speech then firing their words back at them with a 0.2-second delay, which affects the brain’s cognitive processes”

OK, one big prollem I see right away with using it on Sock Puppet…

No cognitive processes to act on?

If I can’t stop people making meaningless sounds, then it likely wouldn’t work too well on Barry.
