Jerry Brown, Democrats reach deal on public pension overhaul. By “overhaul” they mean “kick the can down the road a little further” – the Moonbeamers have taken the courageous route of cutting benefits and raising costs to future retirees. Yeah, that’ll work… until a future legislature and governor start feeling the pressure to alter the deal. That light at the end of the tunnel is a bullet train to nowhere.
