NSA is collecting the phone records of MILLIONS of Verizon customers daily under top secret order issued in April and it lasts into July. And people complained about George W. Bush. Better pray you don’t butt dial Osama Bin Laden’s old cell phone number.

Remember When Dems Supported Obama's Extension Of The Patriot Act?

Like I said to CO2, at least my calls are not being leaked like Verizon customers.

Notice that, once again, it was a foreign newspaper that broke the news. Let’s be real: we have no independent news organizations in the U.S. Thank God the Brits still have tabloid wars that make them hungry to break news stories. Otherwise, we’d never get any revelations about the Obama administration at all.

Yes, another incident where the American media is scooped by a foreign newspaper. WTF, where was the NY Times, the WaPo, FOX and MSNBC?

And Susan Rice is the new head of the NSA.

BTW, those thinking of dropping Verizon should think again, I’d bet they’re not alone.

No, she’s not the Director of the National Security Agency (DIRNSA) ( a two or three star flag or general officer, not sure anymore), she the National Security Advisor and I don’t remember, or care, where that genealogical tree branch grows, it’s all incestuous anyway.

Our media wasn’t scooped. It doesn’t care.

I am glad my contract with Verizon ends in a few months. Let it be known that, if you cooperate with this administration, there will be a price to pay. I hope millions of other patriots will join me in leaving Verizon.

You really think Verizon is alone? It’s probably the only one the Guardian got ahold of, and it could be that we might soon find out its all of them.

If they are regulated by the FCC it probably is.

“The National Security Agency has been collecting the telephone records of millions of U.S. customers of Verizon under a top secret court order, according to a report in Britain’s Guardian newspaper.

The order was granted by the secret Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court on April 25 and is good until July 19, the newspaper reported Wednesday.”

Who has heard of this “Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court?” It would seem that Dean Wormer has struck yet again with the “Double Secret Probation.”

Dan, there is so much that we don’t know about this huge blob called “our government”. There are normal programs that no one has ever heard about, secret programs, super-secret programs, foreign programs, heck – there are entire AGENCIES most of us have never heard of. This is what the TEA party drum-beat is all about.

We have czars, directors, assistant directors, special assistant directors, assistant to the assistant directors, special deputy assistant to the assistant directors, and thousands of other employees working for the Department of Redundancy Department, which does SOMETHING at a cost of $500 million a year, but needs another 15% each year. They keep quiet, and keep their heads low hoping that no one notices them and starts asking questions.

Once again the most transparent administration ever gets caught engaging in unconstitutional wire taps on average citizens. Anyone saying bad things about Quagmire or his butt ugly excuse for a wife can expect an audit from his enforcement arm, AKA the IRS in the near future. The snake is beginning to eat it’s own tail.

Well, Verizon is a greedy corporation. Are you not surprised?

Oh, and inb4 censorship.

A string with two tin cans does not count as a cell phone, but I bet your got your Bammy Phone we are all paying for since you live life in the welfare zone….

Say what you want, but a “bammy phone” as you put it is more secure then Verizon according to this article.

Turd. That feels so good, being away for a week, and first time I log on, I get a turd.

Oh, wait. I use my Verizon Droid as a WiFi hotspot for ALL my interweb surfing. I’m screwed.

While conversing, I’ve been hearing a consistent click-click-click on my phone the past two weeks. I’m a Verizon customer.

Wondering if posting to this site and visiting Drudge Report, Info Wars and Legal Insurrection have me on the political radar of the NSA?

This whole surveillance thing is getting out of hand. See you all in the FEMA camps.

Cool, Since I have Verizon, I am going to start calling sleezy sex lines and any Muslim organization I can find, when they come to have a “chat” I’ll tell them I did it because they were sniffing around looking for people to annoy and I thought I would annoy them first….Or I am gonna set up a dirty phone line, Perhaps 1-900-eat shit and spout disparaging garbage about snooping government agents….

Being a capitalist, I suggest you set up two 900 lines. That way you can double your profit and double the annoyance.

Himmler and Goring would be in awe of such things. For those of you who troll here a brief history lesson for seeing that the public school systems won’t tell you about these two. Himmler ran the SS and Goring ran the Gestapo. Himmler was more paranoid and always was cooking up some scheme to persuade Hitler that there were threats every where. Goring and Himmler hated each other. These trampled anyone’s rights to gain favor with Hitler.

Yes, I’m comparing this administration to the Third Reich

I’m thinking that The Third Reich had more scruples…sort of. I mean, they at least murdered people who had already been born and had lived a little first…not that they wouldn’t have loved to commit as much murder as we do on a daily basis, what between abortions and euthanasia.

The response of Team BO will be…interesting. Offhand, I can’t think of a single legitimate security reason for the NSA to do this, but the wordsmiths on the West Wing will doubtless have a stab at slapping a vat of lipstick on this porker.

A few low-level rogue agents acting on their own, no doubt, probably because they saw a YouTube video about Verizon customers saying blasphemous things about the prophet of Islam or something.

StrinaM

As a “low-level agent” of the NSA, I AM PISSED! You know the amount of training we go thru, almost monthly, to ensure we “low-level” slubs know that this crap is UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!!!!!???????

Been there, done that! I’m so glad I’m retired now because it was starting to get out of hand during the Clinton administration.

I’m guessing the president didn’t know about this until he saw it on the news. And he still has complete confidence in Eric Holder.
