Obama Aide: With These Republicans, ‘There’d Still be Slavery’ Today: It would seem that this aide has very much misunderstood the mechanics of slavery. Obviously he/she is not one of the ones having their labor/property confiscated and spent in the service of Master Obama.

No one ever mentions indentured servitude:

The whole slave thing is starting to be as much of a broken record as you-know-who’s rants about corporate greed. It’s not even good stuff. If I remember correctly, this crap started with one of Joe Biden’s more moronis speeches (which is saying a lot),

Last time I checked, Lincoln was a Republican. In reality, the Democrat party has enslaved the black population with programs that make them dependent on government. Great Society………baloney!

Exactly. Name ONE thing that the Democratic Party has done for black people that does not involve a wealth transfer check, the lowering of standards for entry into schools or certain jobs, or any other measure designed to create dependency on the government. All of which serve to reinforce among the black population that they are inferior and can not succeed on their own. Shameful and sad how effective the strategy is in securing votes.

Exactly! The Dem party has made a career of telling blacks that they are unable to compete for jobs and money, so they need to be taken care of by Big Brother. These poor, disadvantaged people are so inept that they have to get special considerations in order to qualify for college and jobs, because they are incapable of doing it on their own.
Unfortunately, there are examples of the exact opposite all around us, they just don’t count because they are by and large Republicans.
I’m sure Clarence Thomas, Thomas Sowell, Condi Rice, Colon Powell, Bill Cosby, Herman Cain, and thousands of other black business persons, politicians, teachers, economists, engineers, scientists, doctors, etc will all tell us how they may have struggled at one point or another in life to get where they are, but so does everyone else, and babying someone and giving them no strings handouts, is not the way to motivate someone to improve their lot in life.

Damn, what a nasty, mean spirited thing to say. It appears the Obama White House is reaching new lows in lies, distortions and plain demogoguery.

Now that Obama has been reelected you might think that his minions would tone down the divisive rhetoric, but it appears that Chicago style politics rules the Oval Office. I afraid they are pandering to the Demcorat base.

Someone tell me, what political party specifically defended slavery prior to the Civil War and what political party employed the KKK to terrorize its opponents?

Progressives rewrite history. We are witnessing a whitewashing of history. These bastards are going to use the next four years to destroy the GOP through slander, deception, revisionist history, demagoguery, the court system, and any other tool that they find. This is right out of the rise of every other totalitarian left wing dictatorship. They even have Costas trying to grab our guns.

Google the Frankfurt School. Obviously the origin is German but it became the central hub of political Marxism in the US while it was based at….wait for it….Columbia University. Next to the School of Journalism. The home of the Pulitzer Prize. Coincidence?

Did any of you see the hit piece 60 Minutes did on Thomas Jefferson last night? Another example of deconstructing the Founders because some owned slaves. Yes they did. They were not perfect men and they were men of their times operating in an economy that bred that horrible institution. Oddly, there was no mention of the Africans who sold other Africans into slavery nor did they, for sake of context, mention that slavery is alive and well in Islam and many parts of Asia. Worse, the guy interviewed who wrote the latest Jefferson bio went to my college and he is an insufferable asshole.

These PMSNBC Asshats didn’t spend much time studying history in that liberal arts college now did they. Makes me want to take a baseball bat to the whole bunch of them.

What’s that? You mean it wasn’t Democrats that freed the slaves?
I need to go reread my history books.
