Days of whine and neuroses: Obama says things were going swimmingly until we hit a streak of bad luck

by editor on August 18, 2011

How the mighty have fallen: the man who once said he could lower oceans and heal planets now carps about “bad luck” like some busted Vegas gambler calling mom for a loan. The old saw says it’s better to be lucky than good, but you’re really screwed if you ain’t either one.

obama-crying

"Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! It's not my fault."

Byron York explains the latest Presidential excuses:

“We had reversed the recession, avoided a depression, gotten the economy moving again,” Obama told a crowd in Decorah, Iowa.

Obama gave the zombie economy a quick fix of “Stimulus” meth, already wearing off when he dosed it with the Obamacare downer.

“But over the last six months we’ve had a run of bad luck.” Obama [blamed] the Arab Spring uprisings, the tsunami in Japan, and the European debt crises – [for setting] the economy back.

There are uprisings and natural disasters somewhere every year. The European “bad luck” has been unfolding since Fall 2009. Their impact increased proportionally with Obama’s need for excuses.

“Now, those are things that we can’t completely control. The question is, how do we manage these challenging times and do the right things when it comes to those things that we can control?”

We could try electing people who know what the hell they’re doing.

“The problem,” Obama continued, “is that we’ve got the kind of partisan brinksmanship that is willing to put party ahead of country, that is more interested in seeing their political opponents lose than seeing the country win.”

No Barry, we have the bad luck of having a fool as president and dealt with it by erecting roadblocks to his destructive agenda. The problem should be rectified by 2013, with any luck.

All politicians are the same, period. But this thing we have now is worse than any of them. If it comes down to him and Perry, I’m voting for Perry end of story. I’ll vote for anyone other than the scum we have in there now.

Yeah. And that day of infamy was in November 2008.

I have to remind myself that BHO is not incompetent. I believe he is tearing this country’s economy down per Marxist doctrine.

I’ve never doubted for a minute that his intentions were less than honorable. Everything he does, he does with one purpose in mind; the destruction of this country for the global ruling elitists.

…. and the Titanic simply had a “run of bad luck” when it ran into that iceberg.

What both situations have in common is that if the man at the top, as well as his subordinates had been paying attention, the “run of bad luck” may never have happened.

Even if it hit, if it wasn’t the arrogance by those that ran things more people (or all for that matter) could have been safe if they had a better escape plan, and more boats. I think more than anything it was the arrogance of stating that it was unsinkable that doomed that ship.

Obama and his people are all arrogant and they are destroying our country.

” Its not My Fault “…. , As o BOMB Ya , Tours The Country talking About Jobs . in his Brand New Motor Home , that was ” Made In Canada “

Actually, to be completely honest, the chassis and shell are made in Canada. The engine is a Detriot Diesel. The customization was done in the USA.
The reason for the chassis and shell being built in Canada is that the customizers in the US won’t use any other coach because of quality, this is the best one on the market. The story I read was that the part from Canada was $400,000 and the parts built and assembled in the US come to $700,000. So it was mostly American made.

I disagree in his going in the first place, because it seemed unnecessary to me, ESPECIALLY since he was going to an expensive vacation afterwards. However, if that is the case (about the vehicle) I actually do feel better about the vehicle situation. I still don’t feel good about Martha’s Vineyard. The rich are evil but let’s vacay where they vacay? Uhm… They could have gone to Camp David or gone to the Great Lakes.

He vacations with the rich because HE is rich. Rolling in dough! Just like Kerry, Pelosi, The Kennedy clan. Do you really think they are ever going to approve anything that dips into THEIR pockets? Of course not!

They could have gone to Camp David or gone to the Great Lakes.

Do you really expect the smartest, best looking, President ever, to go vacation where the “common” people go?

“The problem,” Obama continued, “is that we’ve got the kind of partisan brinksmanship that is willing to put party ahead of country, that is more interested in seeing their political opponents lose than seeing the country win.”

So…. he is admitting that he is the problem then? :-/ Because that is exactly what he and his party have been doing.

I am sick of Obama, I want him gone and I hope in G-d Almighty that we (US Americans) get ONE MORE CHANCE to get this right and we get a Washington or a Reagan (at least) and see if we can make this work. If we cannot make this work after Obama we shall have to learn Chinese. I got a head start in college, but it was for fun… I wouldn’t have a problem with China as the next superpower, if it weren’t for the fact that generations of Christian families are imprisoned in order to prevent their propagation, (and other things), I would be more accepting of the new superpower and enjoy the cultural enrichment.

My other issues with China is how they treat their workers, the blatant racism in many quarters and the fact that girls are not “prized”. My only hope that their evil desire to prize boys over girls means that they won’t be having many children and will not survive (in hopes that non chinese women will choose not to be with the men or the men are so racist that they will refuse), but that is going to take hundreds of years that I just don’t have available.

We need to something and we need to start by getting rid of the fools.

What is wrong with Obungles, is part of a greater problem country-wide. The inability to take responsibility for screwing up, but instead playing the victim card (much like the race card) and whining your way out of a situation. My favorite stories of all the people I arrested over my law enforcement career reminds me of Obungles. I arrested a guy for a warrant and in his pants was a whole lot of meth. When I asked what this was, He looked at me and said, “Dude these ain’t my pants”. so I asked who’s shirt are you wearing? He said mine. Who’s shoes are you wearing? He said mine, Who’s underwear are you wearing? He said mine. “but I just found the pants”. So you were walking around with no pants on and just happened to find the mother-lode of meth just laying there in the street? He said, “yup”. He tried it ion court too, but the judge (when he stopped laughing) didn’t buy it either.

There’s no different between Obungles and this guy. I can just here Obungles saying, “Hey dude these ain’t my pants”…..lying has become a national sport, so has rationalization. “well Officer I had to shoot my husband, cause he refused to take out the garbage, which means the house would get dirty and smelly and it would affect the health of my children”… Actual statement of a suspect.

Criminals and politicians, the only difference is people are stupid enough to elect one to office.

So… he says it was bad luck. Is he going to say Bush had some bad luck? Reagan? Nixon? Coolidge?!?!?

Bush had th bad lick of an attack on American soil for the first time on some 60 years. I never heard him complaining.

This picture was taken soon after Moochelle found that he had taken her chaloopa (no, I don’t know how to spell chaloopa). Why is it that when he refers to partisan brinksmanship it is always the GOP who are doing it. At least once he should say that Nancy Pelosi is really a baboon. (Editor, please do not post another picture of her)

Dhimmitude What does it mean?
Obama used it in the health care bill.

Now isn’t this interesting? It is used in the health care law.

Dhimmitude — I had never heard the word until now. Type it into Google and start reading.

Pretty interesting. It’s on page 107 of the healthcare bill. I looked this up on Google and yep, it exists..

It is a REAL word.

Word of the Day: Dhimmitude

Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-Muslim populations conquered through jihad.

Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-Muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to Islam.

ObamaCare allows the establishment of Dhimmitude and Sharia Muslim diktat in the United States .

Muslims are specifically exempted from the government mandate to purchase insurance, and also from the penalty tax for being uninsured. Islam considers insurance to be “gambling”, “risk-taking”, and “usury” and is thus banned. Muslims are specifically granted exemption based on this.

How convenient. So I, as an American or Texan not Muslim, will have crippling IRS liens placed against all of my assets,

including real estate, cattle, and even accounts receivables, and will face hard prison time because I refuse to buy insurance or pay the penalty tax. Meanwhile, Louis Farrakhan will have no such penalty and will have 100% of his health needs paid for by the de facto government insurance. Non-Muslims will be paying a tax to subsidize Muslims. This is Dhimmitude.

I recommend sending this on to your contacts. American citizens need to know about it —

Summer is over— glad to be back with a little time for myself ~!

I ran search on the official pdf of the healthcare act and ‘dhimmi’ is not found. I think the source for this information may be questionable, not that I’d doubt it since the world caliphate would include it.

A further web search finds this letter from Senator Lugar’s office:

[Salutation]

I am Senator Lugar’s health care policy aid. The Senator shared with me your email and questions regarding the religious conscience exemption to the individual mandate to purchase/obtain health insurance that was included in the health care bill. Incidentally, as you may know, Senator Lugar did not support passage of this legislation.

I attempted to reach you by phone but understand you may be abroad and that email is a better way to reach you. I am happy to discuss this issue telephonically if you would prefer. I can be reached at (202) 224-4814.

In what I hope may answer your questions: The bill does not expressly mention any specific groups as exempt. The language mirrors provisions in existing law for such programs as Social Security and Medicare. My understand, though I am not a layer, is that these clauses have arisen as a response from court challenges from Amish communities and others over the years who did not want to pay into or receive benefits from these public programs.

I’m not sure where this “dhimmitude” rumor started, but that phrase is NOT in the bill. Again, the bill does NOT mention members of any specific religious faith or group as exempt but rather refers to the existing tax code.

Ultimately, as stated in the legislative text, implementation of this provision will be left up to the Secretary of Health and Human Services. The Senator has heard similar concerns from other constituents, and we have contacted HHS to inquire if and when they will issue guidance on who would qualify for an exemption and how they would make such an application. Because the so-called individual mandate does not come into effect until 2014, guidance has not been developed. It will likely be quite some time before the agency promulgates the rules (through the public rulemaking process) on the topic.

It is certainly an issue we will follow closely. Again, I am happy to try to answer any questions you may have. I prefer phone, but understand email may be a far more convenient option for you.

Kind Regards,

Alex

This is interested. I wouldn’t be surprised but at the same time it is shocking if it is true, don’t know how to explain that.

So you just believe another politician or one of their cronies…. hmmmm, sheeple.

Did you look at page 107 of the health care act, as stated in the post, where it says dhimmitude is mentioned? It isn’t there. It isn’t anywhere. Go run a search on your copy of the pdf file. That’s what I did first. Then I searched and found this letter from the senator’s office. He voted against it. You seem to think I qualify as a sheep. You are ver much mistaken. You’ve seen my posts here. It would be difficult to imaging anyone that regularly visits IHTM would consider me a sheeple. So Tesslea, reconsider your assessment of me. Do your own search on the official document. You will not find any mention of anything specific to islam, muslim, jizya, zakat or any of the standard mussy treatment of non-believers. You might also reconsider taking a chain email and relying on it for information, at least do a little verification before promoting as irrevocable truth.

Here is the link to the official bill. Load yourself a copy to your computer or run searches on it however you choose. This is the real document. http://docs.house.gov/rules/health/111_ahcaa.pdf as passed by our illustrious morons.

I regularly visit Bare Naked Islam, Creeping Sharia and Pamela Geller’s Atlas Shrugs and certainly do not qualify for your insult, which was pretty much undeniably pointed directly toward me.

Here is the Government Printing Office “PUBLIC LAW 111 – 152 – HEALTH CARE AND EDUCATION RECONCILIATION ACT OF 2010” http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/PLAW-111publ152/content-detail.html
Run searches through this document if you wish to determine the lack of veracity contain in that chain email. Dhimmi is mentioned in 2 documents from the 1990s. There is no mention of it in obamacare.

I’m adding this link for the text of the obamacare as signed into law – http://www.gpo.gov/fdsys/pkg/PLAW-111publ152/pdf/PLAW-111publ152.pdf

True you are not a sheeple and I apologize, this man gets my ire up; however, how many times have parts of it been rewritten? Do we know for certain that it was never in there. Sorry but I don’t believe that this so called president has the best interest of the American people at heart. Call it a gut feeling I’ve had since the very first time I saw his face, I said to my husband, oh my god we are in trouble. Call it woman’s intuition whatever you want but if that man is re-elected and this bill continues we are all screwed. Life as we have all known it will end and I want my children and all others to have a life like I’ve enjoyed.

FormerlyDeanH

You’re absolutely correct! He is out to kill the country for the globalists. There is no acceptable reason for him to be re-elected. Troubling that the Republicans don’t really seem to have a straight shooting candidate to beat him with yet.

If it comes to pass that that dog lying dog Perry gets the nomination it will be unfortunate. He could probably win and he could turn out to be the Antichrist. Of course, we may already have the Antichrist in the white house.

No, Barry just realized he was standing between Mooch and a tamale. It’s like those Animal Planet shows where the hiker suddenly realizes he’s standing between mama bear and her cubs.
