Obama marks Rosa Parks anniversary with picture of himself. Anybody wonder why he’s often referred to as the Narcissist-in-Chief? Didn’t think so.

I do NOT like the new itunes interface. Hard to navigate, seems much less intuitive as well.

Look, there’s Barry sitting with all of his friends…

I love seeing Dear Leader on a bus.

NOW, let’s paint a Star of David on it and take a trip through the Gaza Strip – see how many bombers we can attract.

Boom Shak-a-lak-a, Boom Shak-a-lak-a… HEY! HEY! HEY! Hey, I wanna take you HIGHER!

Those short buses look much longer from the inside. Where’s his helmet?

He’s sitting on it. He thought it was a bedpan.

So, it’s full of what it’s normally full of?

I bet that’s the first time a spoiled brat like “Dear Leader” has even seen the inside of a city bus, let alone having to sit in one.

He is the greatest president this country has ever had bar none. Michelle 2016 keep the Obamas in the WH.

“The Cult of Presonality”

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7xxgRUyzgs0

Look in my eyes, what do you see?
The cult of personality
I know your anger, I know your dreams
I’ve been everything you want to be
I’m the cult of personality
Like Mussolini and Kennedy
I’m the cult of personality
The cult of personality
The cult of personality

Neon lights, a Nobel prize
Than the mirror speaks, the reflection lies
You won’t have to follow me
Only you can set me free

I sell the things you need to be
I’m the smiling face on your tv
I’m the cult of personality
I exploit you, still you love me
I tell you one and one makes three
I’m the cult of personality
Like Joseph Stalin and Gandhi
I’m the cult of personality
The cult of personality
The cult of personality

Neon lights, a Nobel prize
When a leader speaks, that leader dies
You won’t have to follow me
Only you can set you free (?)

You gave me fortune
You gave me fame
You gave me power in your god’s name
I’m every person you need to be
I’m the cult of personality (I’m the cult of, I’m the cult of)
I’m the cult of, I’m the cult of, I’m the cult of, I’m the cult of (I’m the cult of)
I’m the cult of, I’m the cult of, I’m the cult of, I’m the cult of personality (I’m the cult of)
Ask not what your country can do for you

The only thing we have to fear is fear itself

danybhoy:”The Cult of Personality”

I saw Living Colour open for the Rolling Stones at Cardinal Stadium in Louisville in 1989. They were so painfully loud that my brother and I went under the stands about midway through their set. Their song “Cult of Personality” is good but I like another one they did, “Glamour Boys”, even more.

I saw the Stones during that tour. Not relevant to the thread but a nice recollection.

Funny how those Living Color lyrics apply today.

danybhoy

Yes they do, but I have a feeling that they might be Obama supporters. Just a hunch.

by “they” do you mean the band? if so, which version?

This picture is soo symbolic of Barry’s standing with normal people , both black and white .

On a side note , I believe he looks troubled by the knowledge that he might not get a Nobel Peace prize in under 12 days from entering office , breaking his old record .

RobertW

but he’s sitting…

i’m not sure how, but your comment reeks of RAAAAAAAACISMicity.

(edit) plus you’re probably deriding the physically handicapped too.

StrinaM

AND he’s surrounded by EMPTY seats, so that is raaaacist.

It is a pity, I submit, that so few know the story of Claudette Colvin who, at the age of 15, refused to move to the back of the bus and give up her seat to a white person, and was arrested, nine months before Rosa Parks (who was already in the “colored” section) refused to surrender her seat.

Gratuitous Amazon plug:

On March 2, 1955, an impassioned teenager, fed up with the daily injustices of Jim Crow segregation, refused to give her seat to a white woman on a segregated bus in Montgomery, Alabama. Instead of being celebrated as Rosa Parks would be just nine months later, fifteen-year-old Claudette Colvin found herself shunned by her classmates and dismissed by community leaders. Undaunted, a year later she dared to challenge segregation again as a key plaintiff in Browder v. Gayle, the landmark case that struck down the segregation laws of Montgomery and swept away the legal underpinnings of the Jim Crow South.

I actually knew this.

The Little Rock Nine were a group of African-American students enrolled in Little Rock Central High School in 1957.
(this is actually more immediate to me for the reason that my mother was in the class of ’58, and a WHOLE lot closer geographically to where I grew up. Also, they were guarded by the Screamin’ Eagles. I mean, srsly, how much more awesome can ya get?)

How many fucks do I give? What would be the general reaction to ire over this image, assuming more widespread discussion? Do we really think most of the nation would find this offensive? This is precisely not where you hit dems.

Hit them on Debt and lack of vigilance over welfare abuse. And the welfare cliffs. That stuff was GENIUS

flashingscotsman

Hit them everywhere. And often.

The Obummer wouldn’t make a patch on Rosa Parks dress. He has not earned the right to ride a bus with women like her and never will.

This son of a bitch wasn’t even a dream in his daddy’s eye Frank Marshall Davis. If you doubt it, get a picture of who he claims is his father and a picture of who he claims as a mentor. There are way too many likeness not to be.

What the protester in chief is thinking:
“I got the whole world thinking I am a Christian African American that was born in Hawaii. I am going to make black history month last all year and take precedence over Christmas by starting a commemoration of famous African Americans and this will make all the trouble I am in disappear. Everyone will forget about all the cronyism, F&F, Benghazigate, the rigged election wont mean anything and nobody will dare to say anything or be found a racist. I did it, got through my first term without anyone figuring out I am a Muslim Indian that was born to wealth and kept my college foreign student loans a secret.”

I hate the show “Homeland” because you would never be able to turn a Marine. The muslim elitists did it though because they infiltrated the Presidency.

An old picture used again by the White House for the Rosa Parks anniversary (Too bad you didn’t read the article).

Sorry.

From the article i didn’t read. “The picture was taken during a fundraising trip in April at the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, where the bus currently sits.”

But yeah, the article appears to be real. I did not think that was the case. I recall seeing it captioned over at LMAObama.com.

Rosa Parks took a physical risk by refusing to ride in the back of that bus, but the only thing Obama is risking is a bad photo-op. Obama isn’t honoring Rosa Park’s accomplishments because anything Obama says or does is, first and foremost, about Obama. He recently “honored” the late Neil Armstrong with an picture of himself, he probably could care less about Armstrong and his accomplishments. The man is the ultimate narcissist…a narcissistic sociopath.

Hmm, Forest Cump was always running and Obama has been running for election non-stop since 2006. And they both like chocolate. And they’re both kind of stupid. This is an eerie-good comparison.

This is an eerie-good comparison.

I *do* have brief moments of briliance every once in a while. Inspriration for another JP’s moment of common sense perhaps? should I look for it over at JPAttitude.com?

That’s right folks JPAttude.com…fast approaching 5 million hits…stop on by today…that’s JPAttitude.com; JPAttitude.com; JPAttitude.com!

For some reason the link to the article won’t work for me. So somebody tell me what the hell I’m seeing. Why is our president sitting on a bus?

beanhead54

After the “fiscal cliff” the bus will replace Air Force One.

PsychoDad

And shortly thereafter, with any luck, the bus will be replaced by a rail.*
