Gallup: Obama’s now doing poorly even among those who are doing poorly

by editor on April 15, 2011

He’s been abandoned by independents, whites, the young and the elderly, but President Obama can rest assured that he can always count on the poor.

The poor have reached the end of the line with President Obama

Wait. Not so fast.

CNS News has the results of a new Gallup poll:

President Barack Obama’s approval among the poorest Americans dropped to an all-time low of 48 percent last week, according to the Gallup poll, leaving the president with less-than-majority approval among all income brackets reported in Gallup’s presidential approval surveys.

Each week, Gallup publishes the president’s average approval rating for the previous week among four income brackets: those who earn $2,000 per month or less, those who earn between $2,000 and $4,999 per month, those who earn between $5,000 and $7,499 per month, and those who earn $7,500 per month or more.

For the week of April 4-10, Obama’s approval rating was 48 percent among those making $2,000 or less per month, and 46 percent among those in each of the three higher income brackets.

This was only the second time in his presidency that Obama’s average weekly approval rating among the poorest Americans had dropped below 50 percent. The first time was three weeks ago—in the week of March 21-27—when his approval dropped to 49 percent among Americans who earn $2,000 per month or less.

Obama = Titanic, reality = iceburg. And you know how that story ended.

Polls, shmolls. Voted the best rock band of all time: Nirvana. Of course, the survey was done in a Seattle area Starbucks. That sure represents a cross-section of the American voting public. What you actually get is a hundred 18 to 25 year old college students that have no idea what the rest of the population’s going through to make ends meet. They are not impacted by employment or economy. When asked what they do, a typical response is, “I’m a ‘professional student'”. No sh*t.
Gallup may be a reputable sourse for political point-of-view, but it’s like having the weatherman look outside and tell us the weather (that we can plainly see because we can look ouside too), and then his forecast for sunshine is drowned by rain. Obama’s done. IF WE ALL VOTE. Polls make us feel complacent. If we believe our candidate will win, we believe our vote, just 1 vote, won’t matter.
VOTE. May I suggest voting for the American patriot with conservative values.

In the last Presidential election, and most of the preceding elections, there wasn’t a patriot with conservative values running. I hope there IS one this time.

You know, I don’t know *why* the poor hate him so — after all, after two years of his “leadership”, there are so many more of them around.

Ombezzler once said he was a blank slate upon which fools projected their silliest fantasies (or something like that.) The folks at the bottom of the economic ladder imagined he was gonna help them pay their bills (one even said so on a You Tube video.) Guess they’re gettin’ tired of waitin’ for those checks in the mail.

Oh please.
He is just the front man for the global-elite-corporate-bloodsuckers.
They have been in charge since I entered the workforce in 1983.
I watched as one president after another gave away our jobs, our sovernty, and our country, one little piece at a time.
I just pray I live long enough to see, help, and partisipate in the coming
2nd American Revolution.

It only goes to prove that winning an election is easy. Governing is quite a different story.

Think it’s bad now? Just let the GOP pick the wrong person this time around. Then, watch this fool get re-elected and finish the job of making this country into a third world cesspool.

I am not kidding. Americans better get their heads out of their asses and realize speeches with teleprompters are not going to make anyone’s life better.

Are you talking about Bush? Where were you during the wonder year or the Bush Years. Look at the days Obama sleep at the White House and those Bush slept in Crawford and see they match or Bush exceed. Sickening you don’t credit Bush for his Large part of pushing America off the cliff. Kinda stuck on stupid I say!

“Kinda stuck on stupid I say!”

Speak for yourself — you’re still blaming Bush, and the article wasn’t even about him.

Hello!!!! Janice!!!!! Wake up!!!!!

It’s 2011, you must have been sleeping all of this time or you didn’t read the post correctly. This post is about Barack Hussein Obama, not George W. Bush.

Please try to prepare yourself adequately if you even wish to take a shot at debating me. I don’t have time for silly games or for robotic left wing rhetoric. If you want to have an intelligent debate about George W. Bush, get a blog, tell me the address, and put up an intelligent post and I will come debate you. You may find that I don’t worship Bush like you do Obama.

If you want to spout out ignorance and the usual MoveOn, MyDD, and Think Progress George Soros induced BS, you can stay stuck on stupid for as long as YOU want. Because this is 2011 and Obama is ruining the country now. And you have no sound argument to counter that statement with, except to vomit out “it’s Bush’s fault, it’s Bush’s fault.

You must not have gotten enough of your mommy and daddy’s attention growing up..

Just to be a good racist, he does still hold 85% (+/-) of the black vote.
But that is down from the 95%-98% that voted for him.
