He NOW wants to work with the Republicans but didnt he say he was going to do that before he went to the white house? but then when he was all mad with power he told republicans that the campaigning was over that he won and they had to just get out of the way and not talk to him about nothing. But NOW he is going to work with them… It is like a person who doesn’t respect a neighbor until he finds out the neighbor has a gun. Unless there is force involved he is going to do whatever he wants to do people like that are so stupid to me.

what he is is a puppet for a behind the scenes puppeteer who is pulling the strings. That’s why he needs a teleprompter and doesn’t like questions-he woul have to think on is feet instead of having all the answers written out for him.

it is time to unleash Darrel Issa-let the subpoenas fly. Go after all the folks who need to get arrested. Also, start going after the AG, and the DoJ as a whole.

It is time for the truth to have sunshine on it-that means the NBP case, etc.

Oh man, I don’t think there are enough cells to hold ALL of washington, DC. Maybe they can all be shipped to Guam where it could capsize (according to that one Dem). The marines on Guam can come hangout in texas, AZ and SoCal and train against mexicans jumping the border.

Indictments? That’s what you got is indictments? No plan for jobs, paying down the deficit, balancing the budget, or re-negotiating lop-sided trade agreements?
You want to spend millions indicting people who are never going to be convicted?
Nancy Pelosi whom you probably hate very much had the good sense to take impeachment off the table immediately. Let Boehner go down that road and the Repbulican comeback will be the shortest in America’s history.

And the current admins plans, as well as the pretender in chief, is handling the deficit and balancing the budget by spending like there is no tomorrow. Throwing money at unions and special interest groups by calling it stimulus, which produce no jobs?
Destroying our relationships for productive trade with traditional allies, selling out to the Chinese?
We will see about the comeback. Those of us that pay the freight have had enough of paying for those to lazy to work, those here illegally and those who think they are owed something for nothing.
I like the quote, to paraphrase,” socialism works until you run out of other people’s money to spend” believe it was Margaret Thatcher.
P.S. How did you like the shellacking of the dems and libs last night? I loved it! Not all the voter fraud and corruption could stem the tide!

The current administration had no choice but to spend just as the last one did. The economy was in the tank and we were heading for a depression. No one spent all that money trying to balance the budget or pay down the deficit. We were in stop loss mode. Bush knew it, Obama knew it, the Dems and the Reps know it. Just because the Republicans used bailout spending as a political tool against the current administration doesn’t mean it wasn’t necessary. And by the way, the entire mess was brought on by failed Republican policies. Once again.
Don’t like illegal aliens? Me either. How bout we work together to get all those Republicans to stop hiring them and they’ll leave. What do you say udaho?
You consider every social program to be socialism? Then press your newly minted tea party congressman to do away with Social Security and Medicare. We need to do away with the veteran’s administration as well. I mean we owe our soldiers a debt of gratitude but we wouldn’t want to be accused of socialism would we? So when they get home from war tell them to suck it.
When the welfare reform act and a booming economy conspired to reduce the welfare rolls by 53%, you went and voted Bush in. Naturally, just like under Reagan the welfare numbers soared. Don’t like free loaders? me either. I voted for the guy who smashed the welfare cycle and got people to work. You voted for the guy who grew welfare to its largest proportions ever. Remember that the next time you start crying about welfare. My tax dollars are paying for food stamps because you’re a moron.
I thought the elections went just fine with the exception of the Senate. I really needed the Republicans to take that one too. Once again they underperform.

“Don’t like illegal aliens? Me either. How bout we work together to get all those Republicans to stop hiring them and they’ll leave.”

How about we ENFORCE the existing immigration law and DEPORT any and all people (and their minor children) to the country they came from. In concert with this, finish building a REAL fence, not some barbed wire BS that can’t even contain a tumbleweed! You know, rip off the Chinese for once and have our own Great Wall.

And while we’re at it, suspend any and all federal dollars to ANY city or state that gives sanctuary to illegals in the form of food, shelter, school tuition, driver’s licenses etc. Bet they’ll jump on board in a jif with that…it seemed to work pretty good in 1984 when the Feds decided to reduce federal highway funds from states that didn’t raise the legal drinking age to 21 to combat the drunken driving.

Then, come down on business owners like a ton of bricks if they knowingly hire illegals and don’t use e-verify. Fine them through the nose for the 1st time and then a 2nd offense gets your business closed for a small period of time and a 3rd time (always a charm) gets your business shut down for 1 year.

So you think Republicans are the only business owners who hire illegals? Wrongo. Why is it that so may Democrats are opposed to e-verify and want to grant the DREAM Act, Amnesty and a buttload of other goodies for illegals? One word: VOTES! Because the gig is up and they know that if they grant 20 million (and counting) illegals a path to citizenship, they will have votes for life. That is, until they reach a large enough percentage of the voting population and then there will be a third party on the ballot.

Then it’s, ‘Game over, bitchez!’

Your fences and walls are impractical and unnecessary. Your plan against businesses, if it were enforced would do the trick.
Look, crossing the border is dangerous business. Aliens have to leave their home and family and risk life and limb to get to the United States. Once they get here they are surrounded by people who do not speak the same language. In the best run they make it here to work back breaking menial labor jobs. They do it for a reason. The one and only reason someone would do all of that is for the jobs. Plain and simple. A few dollars an hour in America can pay a lot of bills back home in Mexico. You take away the possibility of jobs and no one takes on that kind of hardship and risk. Fences and walls will not be necessary.

I could make the argument that Republicans are hiring them only because according to you conservatives, liberals are all welfare collecting, jobless layabouts. By that reasoning, its unlikely that many businesses would be ran by liberals who are too lazy to even fill out an application for a job.

As far as votes go, president Bush enjoyed strong latino voting numbers in both of his bids for presidency. This may even prove my theory about Republicans hiring illegals. Why wouldn’t they like Republicans? Reagan was the one who granted them amnesty and they know that as long as Republicans are in charge nothing is ever going to be done about illegal immigration because there’s too much low-cost labor involved.

It is common sense. Which of the two political parties beleives that all of societies ill can be solved by capitalism and free markets? Which party is more pro-business? Why would the Republicans fight tooth and nail to set as many laws as possible in favor of big business, and then walk away from low cost labor?
They wouldn’t, and they will not. If immigration reform ever happens it will be brought on by Democrats. For humanitarian reasons, they will want amnesty for the existing illegals. I don’t agree with that concept, I thought it was wrong when Reagan did it, and I don’t support the Dems doing it. The Republicans will fight reform based on that “amnesty” clause. But understand, that’s what they’ll use as an argument. In truth, the Republicans want illegals here and they want them to remain illegal. Whether you deport them, or legalize them the Republicans lose. Either way it will put an end to their supply of cheap labor.

So the Republicans will ensure that nothing is ever done. Mark my words, if the Republicans hold the House, take the Senate and White house in 2012 they will still do nothing about immigration reform. Just as they controlled everything while America bled off millions of jobs to China and the immigration problem grew from 2000 to 2006. Let’s put blame where it is fairly due. Clinton signed NAFTA and the Chinese trade agreements. Those were really bad moves on his part. But that was only half the problem. Bush and the Republicans sat on their hands for six years while our manufacturing jobs got outsourced. You can’t put that on the Democrats because the Republicans controlled both houses of congress and the White House.

Sobervoter, I am sorry, but this is truly the final straw. If you really believe the shite you just wrote, youare beyond redemption. I live in San Antonio, Texas, along the I-35 corridor from Mexico. Come on down for a visit, and see the vitually non-existant mexican-immigrant-working -for a better-life. My city is (officially) some 65% Hispanic, mostly Mexican. We have enormous problems wiht Mexican gangs, drugs, shootings, kidnappings and murder. Even the legal residents we have here refuse to learn English, ignore the laws (unless they are trying to use them on someone else) adn completely separate themselves from the rest of the city’s population groups. We have Indian, Irish, German (LOTS of Germans) Pakistani, English, Asian-many beingonly 1st or second generation in America. Yet the Mexicans overwhelmingly receive housing assistance, food stamps, medicaid, SSI and utility assistance in excess of their percentage of population. Get a grip and SEE WHAT IS RIGHT UNDER YOUR NOSE! I married an Hispanic 3rd generation from Spain, so don’t start with the discrimination crap. THey are absolutely NOT just poor, hardworking people coming here to better their lives. That amounts to perhaps 5% of all the Mexicans in this area. And the one who have been here for several generations came to escape the Revolution in Mexico, yet there are Mexican flags and pictures of Zapata everywhere. You make me sick.

Any time you have a mass migration of people a criminal element is going to accompany it.
They come for jobs and the promise of work. Take that away and they don’t come.
You say mexican criminals are coming over. Once again we’re talking about income. As long as Americans choose to smoke Marijuana then Mexicans will line up to sell it. So we have two choices, stop smoking pot or legalize it and let Phillip Morris grow and sell it.
Walls don’t work. China tried that and it didn’t work. You need to attack the source of the problem not the symptom. Mexicans were broke a hundred and fifty years ago. We didn’t have an immigration problem until they discovered they could come here and make money.

If all they were bringing was grass, I may not be nearly as concerned. It’s the weapons, gangs, criminals, and harder drugs like cocaine that have me worried. They are NOT coming here to work, unless you consider drug dealing and murder, burglary, robbery, assault working. You gonna legalize heroine, cocaine, meth? Get a grip. Oh, and the Chinese wall worked exTREMely well for a couple of centuries.

“Your fences and walls are impractical and unnecessary.”

Somehow, it seems to work with prisons to keep CRIMINALS in. A fence along the border keeps the CRIMINALS out. Pretty simple.

“Aliens have to leave their home and family and risk life and limb to get to the United States.”

Uhmm…no they don’t ‘have’ to leave their home….they CHOOSE to leave their home to come here and the first thing they did when they crossed the border, was break the law.

I didn’t like Bush’s plan for illegals any more than anybody else’s plan…Tancredo and Romney were the only ones who I recall that wanted them to be shipped home and then they could get in the back of the line from there. I didn’t like it one bit when Reagan gave amnesty and as far as I’m concerned, we are dealing with the aftermath of that decision. So, you grant more amnesty and the same thing will happen…the floodgates are busted open permanently.

“If immigration reform ever happens it will be brought on by Democrats.” Of course it will…because of the votes…illegals will go to whatever party is going to give them amnesty and all the free stuff. That’s why they liked Bush and now that’s why they like the Dem’s.

Yes, I agree, NAFTA was bad and Clinton did it anyway…anybody with a bean in their brain could foretell what was going to happen.

The biggest problem is not who is in control of Congress or who is in the WH, it is the fact that from the top on down, they listen to lobbyists and corporations that hold more sway than us suckers who are left holding the bag.

K street needs to be ABOLISHED!

Prisoners don’t have access to planes, boats, cars and trucks. Their freedom of movement is strictly controlled and they are observed by authorities constantly. Hard to make or put into effect plans under those conditions. In Ohio we pay about $36K per inmate per year to create those conditions. Completely different situation and has no implications in regard to a fence or wall against Mexico.

Maybe you’re right about the Dems giving amnesty to garner votes. But you say that to say what? I’m not a representative of the Democratic party. I agree. That may be exactly why they would do it. On the other side of the coin the Republicans will leave everything just as it is because it is profitable.

I agree one hundred percent about big money controling our government. That’s why I have even less trust for Republicans when it comes to economic matters. They have demonstrated time and again that they favor big business. They are constantly fighting for the big money boys. Even now, with all the problems we have needing jobs and stabilizing the economy they are talking about continuing the tax cuts for the wealthy. For what? How many more years and how many more billions before we see a return on that investment? Trickle down was in effect from June of 2001 until now. Where’s the jobs? We bled jobs for the entire decade that Trickle down has been in effect.

Spin Doctor in Chief

Clearly the liberal media will promote his progressive spin for the next two years in an attempt to downplay the sweeping mandate.

If it would have been the Democrats in this historic sweep EVERY NEWSPAPER HEADLINE would be SHOUTING IN CAPS how this was a referendum on the Presidency.

The POTUS doesn’t GET IT because he doesn’t HAVE to get it. The progressive/liberal media spin down the facts to suit their agenda in order to control the public at large and keep them uninformed of what is really going on…not unlike THE MATRIX.

At work, I get to see a TV with closed captioning (no sound) and I have plenty to do so it’s rare that I see any of it. BUT…

One of the few pieces of his drivel that I saw went something like this (just a little paraphrasing):

“We don’t want to raise taxes on the middle class too much ”

And the first thing out of my mouth went something like this (gonna keep it mostly clean):

“WTF, you @$$hole, you shouldn’t be raising our taxes at all!!! You should be cutting them you jerkface!!!”

This was right after the part where he said that Republicans “need to sit down with him and discuss ideas”.

Of course, being the cynic, I retorted “oh, like they were supposed to before? And they did and you didnt’ listen to them? When you actually let them because most of the CRAP you shoved down our throats was written behind doors closed to non-libs?”

The one quote from him that sang true from day one went something like he’ll listen to “any good ideas the Republicans” bring to him; what a lot of people didn’t understant is that he doesn’t think ANY idea a non-lib brings to him is a good idea. So when he spews that crap about the party of no and that Republicans aren’t bringing him ideas just know that he’s a lying piece of crap and he’s full of it too.

Gonna have some dinner, now, or I can go on for pages.

Depends on what your definition of raising taxes too much is.

I know, and in the case of libs it’s never too much! Too much, for me, is a penny, these days! Taxes are so damned high, it’s ridiculous, and that’s because we’re paying for all kinds of crap we shouldn’t be paying for. Libs have stretched The Constitution to the point where we should (and are) paying for the diapers of illigal aliens! That’s really for the safety and best interests of The Union???

FN crazy!!

The smart money says he will not give an inch on his “destroy Amerkia financially” program while excoriating the Republicans for “not playing well with others” aka submitting to him like the loyal Democrat sheeple did.

We’ll see what happens IF he returns to the US after his 2 BILLION DOLLAR trip to India with 3000 of his closest friends.

$2,000,000,000 – how’s that for giving the finger to the US taxpayer?

USN-R I completely agree. He will sing the word “Compromise”, and by the time he’s out of office, Websters will redefine it to “Bend Over Republicans, Here it comes again!!” But we’ve taken the first necessary step. Let’s see how it goes.

He should stay home. It is absolutely disgusting that he is doing this ESPECIALLY after this election was so adamantly anti-spending.
