PETA ‘killed more than 95 per cent of adoptable dogs and cats in its care last year’. “Despite its $37.4million budget, PETA employees make little effort to find homes for the thousands of animals they kill every year. Records from 2011 alone state that of the 1,992 cats and dogs received, 34 were transferred, and 24 were adopted.” At least a nice, warm fur coat would have given meaning to these animal’s lives. Oh, the hypocrisy. I’m sure each PETA member will also be voting for the Wall-Street-backed-Anti-Wall-Street-Candidate.

I think the signs they’re holding has to do with waxing areas of body

I used to be a PETA member*, and then I read that they euthanized animals rather than adopt them out. I wrote them a letter and told them why I would no longer be sending them money, and to take me off their mailing list. They still send me stuff from time to time. I guess I should print out copies of this article and start mailing them back to PETA in their postage-paid envelopes.

*because once upon a time I really did believe they were interested in helping animals

It took a while to get them to stop sending me crap, but if I receive another crap I will do that. Yes at first I am sure they had the best intentions, but then it became a business a progressive agenda business and the good intentions went out the window.

I don’t think they ever had good intentions. It seems like hijacking charities is the only business model liberals can make work.

Now I only donate to ASPCA or HSUS.

Both of those organizations sponsor the taking of pet ferrets from their homes in California and killing them. I can’t support anyone that does that.

I dont support ASPCA as the funds have been misallocated throughout the years and they have been trying to hide that fact also they do also can mistreat or kill animas as well. HSUS I have not heard. Any organization that is left leaning (I have to check the associations they have with politcians) I dont support.

HSUS does kill the pet ferrets of people in California. Those of us who had ferrets at the time that Schwarzenegger was elected thought that maybe he would help us out a little, since he had pet ferrets of his own, but he’s just too much of a hypocrite, as we all found out.

Those are all valid points for sure.
It is almost like a Disney movie if you have the right relationship with them.
No tricks or physical punishment, they are very prideful and have a lot to say if you listen to them.

For twenty years my wife and I raised “wolf dogs”.
They lived in our house, slept in my bed and guarded my kids.

Wolfs are the most gentle loyal and loving compainion a human can have.

Then PETA came along and whined that wolf dogs are vicious killers and the state outlawed them.
Hundreds of wolf dogs were killed or abandoned.
I know one women who went to prison ( not jail- prison) because she refused to disclose the location of Mya, a pure white female wolf pup. 🙂

Mya died in her home, December 2010 of old age, her ashes are on my mantel.
The stupid libs never found her 🙂

We had 5 wolfs over the years and never had an issue. Of course my back yard
was destroyed, seems they like to dig really big dens 🙂
We never complied with the moonbats, our vet is cool and helped with the subterfuge.
I live in the woods and fenced in a half acre off the back of the house.

Never had any bugler troubles either..

Jane the “wolf lady” eventually got out of prison and has moved south to state that allows wolfs.

Our dear friend has one, beautiful dog and well behaved. In fact my German Sheppard and this lovely lady dog are best friends. She has neighbors that also have some. Never saw a problem with them. Its like anything else, how they are raised and trained makes all the difference in the world.

They allow them in Florida, but you have to get them vaccinated by a vet that will handle exotics because regular dog vaccines don’t agree with them.

I have no problem with wolf-dog crosses per se. I have a problem with the people that keep them and teach them to be vicious, and with the people that have no idea what they are getting into with them, and think that it will be like in a Disney movie, where the mean ol’ wolfie becomes “nice” and starts eating bugs and peanuts.

Same with Pit Bulls. The dogs are fine. It’s the people who turn them into monsters that should be put out of our misery.

My ex and I raised ferrets for a few years. In California. Yes, we were such scofflaws. The State of California would have you believe that ferrets are vicious animals, prone to escaping captivity and overpopulating the land, killing cattle and chicken for sport. Uh-huh.

I dated a girl with ferrets, they liked to bite my toes and eat the insides out of my sneakers!

You’re lucky you got out of there with ANY sneakers. They like to steal things and hide them. I watched one try desperately for a half hour to stuff one of my work boots into a 2″ wide space between stove and refrigerator. Never laughed so hard in my life. He finally gave up, and last I saw was dragging my jeans across the living room, heading for the back of the couch.

Because it’s not about the ethical treatment of animals.

Just like every other leftish interest group, it’s never about what they say it’s about. First and foremost, it’s about promoting statism, and decreasing individual liberty. Sure they go through the motions. But when it comes down to it, promoting statism will take precedence every time.

Every time.

What is it with these leftie moonbats that they need to get naked or semi-naked when they protest? Are they that brain dead? I guess I answered my own question. So where are those gals mothers and grandmothers to instruct them on how to behave and dress in public?

poppajoe49

I don’t really mind them getting naked, but I wish they would stop wearing those fright masks!

Those assholes make me sick.

I fart in their general direction –

I highly doubt that their mothers were hamsters, though — PETA’d have snuffed them.
