Polls: Nation that re-elected Obama wants more spending cuts than tax hikes, still hates Obamacare. “As the conventional wisdom has it, we are a nation divided— perhaps into multiple personalities.” To paraphrase the old adage: to a man with a hammer, every problem looks like his fingers.

Yeah we dont want to pay for Obummercare, we dont want our taxes raised, BUT we are gonna get free stuff from Obama, whatever that is. Who cares? It’s freee.
You can advertise on TV or radio, “I am going to ram this corncob up your ass and it is absolutely FREEEEEE!” And tons of people will line up for it.

Here’s an email I got today. I have no clue if it’s true. But it makes sense.

A Ford Dealer’s Report

This is exactly why 40 some % of the people are too dependent on the government.

They have learned to work the system.

A Ford Dealer’s Report – From Tom Selkis’ (Latham Ford) Facebook – True story yesterday at the dealership.

“I’ll try to make this as short and to the point as I can.

One of my salesmen here had a woman in his office yesterday wanting to lease a brand new Focus.

As he was reviewing her credit application with her he noticed she was on social security disability.

He said to her you don’t look like you’re disabled and unable to work.

She said well I’m really not.

I could work if I wanted to, but I make more now than I did when I was working and got hurt (non-disabling injury).

She said the gov’t sends her $1500.00 a month in 1 check.

And she gets $700.00 a month on an EBT card (food stamps), and $800.00 a month for rent.

Oh yeah, and 250 minutes free on her phone.

That is just south of $3500.00 a month.

When she was working, she was taking home about $330.00 per week.

Do the math and then ask yourself why the hell should she go back to work.

If you multiply that by millions of people, you start to realize the scope of the problem we face as a country.

Once the socialists have 51% of the population in that same scenario, we are finished.

The question is when do we cross that threshold if we haven’t already, and there are not enough people working to pay enough taxes to support the non-working people?

Riots??

Be prepared to protect your homes.

She didn’t lease the Focus here because the dealer down the road beat our deal by $10.00/month.

Glad to know she is so frugal with her hard earned money.”

The woman needs to be reported by the Ford dealer. If not, he’s as guilty of welfare fraud as the customer.

First thing the Republicans need to do is replace Boehner as Speaker. Obama will walk all over him.

Where is Newt Gingrich when we need him?

Or Fred Thompson.

Yeah, I’d rather Fred than Newt.

I love Fred. I follow him on Twitter, he’s hilarious. Not to mention intelligent, and loves his country.

Yet the fools lined up in droves and voted his ass back into office. Now they are reaping what they have sown. The reaction from many is baffling as they try to rationalize why der leader is doing what they don’t want him to do.

Now that they have him and there are no more elections to win, the wolf is free to devour the sheep.

I didn’t vote for Obama.

I’ve spent most of the morning evaluating my retirement plan. I’m working up a strategy to get myself as tax free as possible in the future. I think I’m done with my 401k and am going to open a Roth 401k. I’m OK as taxes go now, but I believe that 250K and up income figure they’re targeting will most likely drop as the deficit grows. By the time I retire, a family with a 100K income could very well be a 1%er.

StrinaM

Here’s the problem, they are already talking about how to take from those of us with Roths and 401ks and other retirement plans. Reminds me of the fable about the Grasshopper and the Ants. We are the Ants and everyone else is the Grasshopper. Selling a house, prepare to be taxed on the sale. Less to buy your next house with.

That is why I am advocating that we all close out our retirement plans, pay the 20% penalty, and run for the hills!
Better to have 80% of your money than 0%!

You mean Odumbo Care really isn’t free? Just wait until these liberal shitbirds start screaming when they get their tax bill.

I thought you had to work to get a tax bill. Am I missing something here?

Most Obama supporters don’t get a tax bill.

I’m sorry to keep beating the drum like joihn does re: Ron Paul, but I will not let this go. My analysis of the headline, “Polls: Nation that re-elected Obama wants more spending cuts than tax hikes, still hates Obamacare” is simple: the nation didn’t re-elect Obama… fraud did.

Karmaa

Your drumbeat is catchy, unlike the Ron Paul trashcan lid banging.

Seriously, the fraud was/is so blatant and so obvious that I could scream. The GOP leaders just don’t even seem to give a crap about it, either. 2012 was a replay of 2008, and very little seemed to have changed. Allen West was completely ignored by the GOP even though the people who saw what was going on were screaming bloody murder. A whole bunch of people in Philadelphia should be in jail right now, and those counties in Ohio should have been made to re-vote or something.

I feel sick to my stomach every time I think about it. If the people are so stupid that they really voted this fraudulent socialist in again, then fine. I can live with the fact that half the country is comprised of morons. But this election was STOLEN, as clear as day, and anyone who says so is either looked at as a conspiracy nut or a sore loser.

So, the big question is: WHY don’t the GOP leaders do something about it? They could, easily. All but the most liberal democrats (the majority of the cheaters) would HAVE to vote for stricter voter laws – the people want it according to the polls. The could easily make changes requiring that military votes be counted under any circumstances – again all but the most insane libtards understand that THEY, of all people should be counted. What possible reason could the GOP have to not deal with this fast and firmly? It makes you wonder, doesn’t it?

Ruben

Great post, Karmaa. What it makes me wonder is this: does the GOP apparatus care as much for the middle class as Democrat apparatchiks?

It is clear to me that the left hates the middle class because we tie up a whole lot of wealth they’d like to steal and embody a whole lot of values they disdain. Eliminate the wealth of the middle class and they wipe out the middle class – period. And with no wealth, we are are no political foes so no need to worry about middle class values ever becoming policy.

Add to this that the left wants an old European-style ruler-servant class system and a clearer picture about their activities and words emerges.

The GOP leadership has their wealth. Why should they fight for us? They’ll be part of the ruler class.

Sorry for rambling.

I don’t think you’re rambling, especially with the recent revelation of GOP leadership’s “committee membership list” i recently read about, right here on IHTM.

Actually, this isn’t that surprising. The majority doesn’t want their own taxes hiked. They want somebody else to get their taxes hiked. This fits perfectly with re-electing Obama. It’s also a morality that assures eventual national collapse.

flashingscotsman
Member

They also don’t want spending ON THEM cut, but spending on others cut.

poppajoe49
Member

Exactly! No tax cuts for small businesses that create jobs, they need a tax increase.
No government money to help out a new small business, just for welfare recipients.
No financial help for anyone but those that don’t produce anything of value.

flashingscotsman

It is the way of the Democrat.

The morons got what they voted for. Problem, the rest of us have to suffer.
