President Obama had a brief lapse – yeah, let’s call it a lapse – toward the end of the ObamaCare Summit.
If malpractice reform is so important to the Republicans, he wondered, then why didn’t they do something about it when they ran the show in Washington, DC.
Obama: Medical malpractice has been mentioned. Now, look, let me be honest. This is something, historically, that Democrats have been more resistant to than Republicans. I will note that, when we had a Republican president and Republicans controlled the House and Republicans controlled the Senate, somehow it didn’t happen. And I’m surprised.
