One of the darlings of the union I’m retired from. No, I never voted for her.

Rep. Sanchez is just following the example of Rep. Jan Schakowsky(D-Leningrad), whose husband(a Democratic ‘consultant’)did time for kiting checks a few years back.

Let me get this straight. She’s a rep from CA and her “husband” is messing with public funds in CT? What, are they separated? Or is it just that all the “excess” public funds on the west coast have already been snatched up (i.e. stolen), forcing her hubby to look for better hunting grounds on the other liberal coast?

I’ve noticed that in a remarkably high percentage of cases, Republican as well as Democrat, career politicians seem to have spouses who are in some sort of business that benefits from public funds. We’ve seen it with Maxine Waters, Mitch McConnell, Nancy Pelosi, Diane Feinstein, just to name some of the more famous ones. It’s a loophole they use to disguise that they are personally benefiting from their elective office. If you’ve even wondered at some of Mitch McConnell’s strange priorities as Senate majority leader, look no further than the hundreds of millions of dollars he and his wife have made through his father-in-law’s Chinese businesses. Mitch McConnell has made himself very very rich “serving” the people of Kentucky, and made his father-in-law a lot of money too.

Doesn’t this woman have a sister who’s also a crooked politician?
