Report: California power costs to go up by 33%. “…a new report found that California’s energy policies will raise state power rates and associated costs by nearly 33%.” The last person leaving CA won’t have to turn out the lights, they’ll already have gone out long before then.

Personally, It would be a great place for above ground nuclear testing…Other than that it has no purpose.

Hollywood is just part of Los Angeles. And if it and San Francisco were taken out of the equation, California would be a red state.

Not necessarily, it could have been a libertarian state after all the cheating was factored out.

That might be why there is a push to make the electoral college votes be distributed by district, not winner take all. It would be a more fair way of doing it.

Hey Rose, looks like it’s coming to an electric bill near you too, but for totally different reasons. Øbummer’s EPA is doing the dirty work.

And oh, oh. Got to change avi’s and get rid of Snow Leopard for now, after almost two weeks (including 5 straight days with highs below freezing). Who cares if it’s been raining all night will most of the morning, it’ll wash away about 9 inches of snow before it’s done and if not the high today’s supposed to be low 60s, woohoo.

Oh yeah, they are after out power, be it oil and gas, wind farms, solar or whatever. THey want us to produce it and bear the cost, but then add it to a grid that includes several other states. And then the liberals constant attempts to prevent the production at all. We should be a grid of our own. We are, after all, bigger that 5-6 other states, especially the tiny Northeast states.

Soon enough, I guess California may be almost completely dark from orbital view like that North Korea picture, except for a small spot indicating Hollywood, a nice little target for the Sulaco´s nukes.

Goddammit. This is for your own good. Quit bitching. Californians want clear air and to be kind to Mother Earth. To quote Hillary, what difference does it make if you’re paying more, isn’t pristine air quality worth the price? Even if it saves just one life the elventy increase in your ‘lectric bill is worth it. Right? RIGHT???

The “lights” have been out for years now in California. And the elevator doesn’t go to the top either.

It means nothing. Like she who shall not be named, it is his assigned talking point. He doesn’t know what it means, he doesn’t understand any of the drivel he spews. He is just assigned a talking point to repeat ad nauseum.

I’m sure this little inconvenience will keep lots of taxpayers and businesses from leaving the state…..Then again, maybe not.
That’s OK, Gov. Moonbeam will just want another tax increase.

I’m glad I live in a fairly temperate area. The people in the central valley and the desert areas east of LA are really going to scream when they get their air conditioning bills during summer. The people in the Sierras are really going to scream when they get their heating bills during the winter. Hopefully they’ll all show up at the capitol with pitchforks and torches and get the libtards to stop this crap.

If they were smart those ‘pitchforks’ would be loaded with 7.62.

They ain’t got the smarts though. They’ll double down on liberal stupidity.

That’s the problem though. Politically speaking, it’s East and West Callifornia, with everyone east of I5 voting conservative. And no matter how much griping and how much it hurts them, it’s not going to change the dem dominated govt.

They had better make sure their pitchfork and torch taxes are paid before they try that.
