The lunatic racist latino group Brown Berets showed up to harass Tea Party patriots at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California who were, in turn, there in support of Arizona’s anti-illegal alien law.
Ever heard of the Brown Berets? Neither had we and we spent most of our lives in Southern California.
It’s a paramilitary organization that’s also called the Tan Klan or Latino KKK. They support illegal immigration as a means to create a racially-pure homeland for Latinos to be called Aztlan.
Well, this group of lunatics showed up to harass Tea Party patriots at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California who were, in turn, there in support of Arizona’s anti-illegal alien law.
Democrat governors did their best to explain the facts of life to President Obama this weekend. They told him his suit against Arizona is “toxic” to their chances for reelection.
Have you ever seen a group of politicians grimmer than these Democrat governors?
Democrat governors did their best to explain the facts of life to President Obama this weekend. They told him his suit against Arizona is “toxic” to their chances for reelection.
The august New York Times reports their poisonous opinions:
In a private meeting with White House officials this weekend, Democratic governors voiced deep anxiety about the Obama administration’s suit against Arizona’s new immigration law, worrying that it could cost a vulnerable Democratic Party in the fall elections.
While the weak economy dominated the official agenda at the summer meeting here of the National Governors Association, concern over immigration policy pervaded the closed-door session between Democratic governors and White House officials and simmered throughout the three-day event.
At the Democrats’ meeting on Saturday, some governors bemoaned the timing of the Justice Department lawsuit, according to two governors who spoke anonymously because the discussion was private.
“Universally the governors are saying, ‘We’ve got to talk about jobs,’ ” Gov. Phil Bredesen of Tennessee, a Democrat, said in an interview. “And all of a sudden we have immigration going on.”
He added, “It is such a toxic subject, such an important time for Democrats.”
Too late, gentlemen. Polish up your resumes, because you’ll all be in need of new jobs come November.
Surely, the good people of New Mexico, lead by liberal Governor Bill Richardson, will put out the welcome mat at the Arizona border and greet their newest residents at the state line with champagne, confetti and welfare checks.
Consider this a textbook case of cause and effect.
The cause: Conservative Arizona passes its new anti-illegal alien law.
The effect: Said same illegal aliens immediately pack their bags and move next door to liberal New Mexico.
Surely, the good people of New Mexico, lead by liberal Governor Bill Richardson, will put out the welcome mat at the Arizona border and greet their newest residents at the state line with champagne, confetti and welfare checks.
That cloud of dust you see over the Sonoran Desert was caused by Arizona’s Democrat politicians distancing themselves from President Obama as quickly as possible.
Similar signs will soon be erected outside the Arizona capitol to warn motorists to watch for Democrats fleeing from Obama
That cloud of dust you see over the Sonoran Desert was caused by Arizona’s Democrat politicians distancing themselves from President Obama as quickly as possible.
The Hill reports the details:
Arizona Democrats facing tough reelection races are distancing themselves from the Obama administration as it prepares to file a lawsuit against the state over its controversial immigration law.
Rep. Harry Mitchell (D-Ariz.) on Monday sent a sharply worded letter to President Barack Obama urging him not to sue.
I believe your administration’s time, efforts and resources would be much better spent securing the border and fixing our broken immigration system,” the two-term congressman wrote in the letter. “Arizonans are tired of the grandstanding, and tired of waiting for help from Washington. … [A] lawsuit won’t solve the problem. It won’t secure the border, and it won’t fix our broken immigration system.”
Two words: Adios, amigos.
When (not if) Obama follows through with his threat to sue Arizona, Arizona’s Democrats will become as endangered as the blackfooted ferret. (Yes, we looked it up. The blackfooted ferret is on the list of endangered Arizona species.)
In this video clip, Peggy West, a liberal Democrat County Supervisor in Milwaukee, Wisconson, stands before her constituents and demonstrates her remarkable ignorance in both economics and geography in one simple statement.
How do people like this get elected? No, really. How?
In this video clip, Peggy West, a liberal Democrat County Supervisor in Milwaukee, Wisconson, stands before her constituents and demonstrates her remarkable ignorance in both economics and geography in one simple statement.
We paraphrase: “That anti-illegal alien law might be ok for a state like Texas that sits right on the Mexican border, but not for Arizona, which is, like, nowhere near the border.”
We just wish the camera had shown West’s face when her fellow supervisor cut her off and guided her back to reality.
Here’s an interesting video clip that demonstrates the lengths to which President Obama will go to pass what is laughingly called “comprehensive immigration reform.”
Here’s an interesting video clip that demonstrates the lengths to which President Obama will go to pass what is laughingly called “comprehensive immigration reform.”
Arizona Republican Senator Jon Kyl told a North Tempe Tea Party town hall meeting that during a private tête-à-tête in the Oval Office, President Obama told him, “The problem is…if we secure the border, then you all won’t have any reason to support comprehensive immigration reform.”
The Tea Party crowd was shocked. You can hear their gasps on the video (at 3:45).
“In other words,” Senator Kyl said, “they’re holding it hostage. They don’t want to secure the border unless and until it is combined with ‘comprehensive immigration reform.’”
Bottom line: The illegals are crossing the border. Obama’s crossing the American people.
Poor Ed Schultz. He’s dumbfounded, astounded, horrified that the liberal media hasn’t been able to stir up more opposition to the Arizona illegal immigration law. Guest John Feehery is forced to slap Schultz’ face and try to bring him back to reality.
Every poll shows that an overwhelming majority of the American people approve of Arizona’s new illegal alien law. And a new Qunnipiac University poll found 48% of registered voters nationwide want similar laws passed in their states.
Poor Ed Schultz. He’s dumbfounded, astounded, horrified that the liberal media hasn’t been able to stir up more opposition to the law. Guest John Feehery is forced to slap Schultz’ face and try to bring him back to reality.
Schultz: The numbers are out right now. It’s pretty amazing, as much discussion and negativity that has been out there, the majority of Americans think the immigration law that’s passed in Arizona is good…and also a majority of Americans want to see their states pass something similar.
Feehery: Hey Ed, this is a surprise to nobody except maybe you, and maybe the administration.
The political class (and its MSNBC apologists) are out of step with the American people. Of course, Schultz would say it’s not just out of step, but out of goose step.
The left wing lunatics at MSNBC.com are running a poll, but the results are not what they expected. Not even close. “Do you support Arizona’s tough new law on illegal immigration?”
The left wing lunatics at MSNBC.com are running a poll, but the results are not what they expected. Not even close.
Do you support Arizona’s tough new law on illegal immigration?
In July, Arizona will begin enforcing a new law that requires law enforcement officers to check someone’s immigration status if they have reason to suspect that he or she is in the country illegally. Do you think this is a good idea?
At the time this story was written almost 600,000 votes have already been cast and the tally was “Yes” 95.6%, “No” 4.4%
You can participate in the poll by clicking on this link.
Let’s see if we can give Keith Olbermann a stroke by pushing “Yes” all the way up to 99% of the vote.
Holding a pair of deuces in a race-card game to inflame the legal residents of the country, Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-CA) called Arizona’s new anti-illegal alien law the product of “white supremacist groups.”
Holding a pair of deuces in a race-card game to inflame the legal residents of the country, Rep. Linda Sanchez (D-CA) called Arizona’s new anti-illegal alien law the product of “white supremacist groups.”
Why do all Democrat women look like Chaz Bono? No offense intended, Chaz.
The San Gabriel Valley Tribune reports Sanchez’ ill-advised comment:
“There’s a concerted effort behind promoting these kinds of laws on a state-by-state basis by people who have ties to white supremacy groups,” said the lawmaker, who is of Mexican descent. “It’s been documented. It’s not mainstream politics.”
Based on that comment, would it be wrong of us if we demanded to see Linda Sanchez’ documents? The ones that tie the Arizona law to white supremacist groups, that is.
And while we’re in a demanding kind of mood, there’s one other thing we’d like to demand. Take a look in your own back yard, Linda, and speak to the family of Jamiel Shaw.
The innocent teen was killed in Los Angeles in 2008 by an illegal alien gang member who had been recently released from jail. Jamiel’s family supports the Arizona law.
And we think they might have some serious trouble joining a white supremacist group.
Those intrepid, unbiased reporters at the Los Angeles Times have done it again. They call a 7% difference in opinion on the Arizona law “closely divided”, but heralded Barack Obama’s identical 7% margin a “decisive victory”.
Those intrepid, unbiased reporters at the Los Angeles Times have done it again. And we quote:
California voters are closely divided over the crackdown on illegal immigration in Arizona, with sharp splits along lines of ethnicity and age, according to a new Los Angeles Times/USC poll.
Overall, 50% of registered voters surveyed said they support the law, which compels police to check the immigration status of those they suspect are in the country illegally, while 43% oppose it. That level of support is lower than polls have indicated nationwide.
So now the Times calls a 7% difference “closely divided”, but heralded Barack Obama’s identical 7% margin a “decisive victory.”
Of course, the Times poll surveyed registered voters, so we can safely assume that a poll of likely voters would have skewed even more conservative and increase the margin of support for Arizona’s law.
Interestingly, the staff and management here at IHateTheMedia.com is “closely divided” on the Los Angeles Times. 50% of us think it should be used to wrap fish, but 43% think it should be used to line bird cages.
But please keep in mind that we only surveyed registered voters, not likely voters.
IHateTheMedia.com has created Mexicano Masks™ designed to help legal American residents leach off the welfare system, overwhelm our public schools, overrun emergency rooms, crowd our criminal justice system, swamp our jails, and work without paying taxes.
Last week a Florida advertising agency created Gringo Masks designed to help illegal aliens pass as legal American residents.
Now IHateTheMedia.com has created Mexicano Masks™ designed to help legal American residents leach off the welfare system, overwhelm our public schools, overrun emergency rooms, crowd our criminal justice system, swamp our jails, and work without paying taxes. After all, who wants to look like an oppressive, racist gringo when there are so many reasons not to?
The original Gringo Masks that inspired the new Mexicano Masks™
The Mexicano Mask™ was not created for profit, but as a way to show support for and to give a face to SB1070, Arizona’s new anti-illegal alien law.
“When we first heard of the law in Arizona and the effects it could have in terms of racial profiling, we at IHateTheMedia.com discussed what we could do about it, since we have access to media,” a spokesperson for the popular website said. “How can we address the issue, but do so in a creative way while at the same time delivering a message?”
With traditional marches, rallies and “buycotts” already in full swing, Mexicano Masks™ are another direct way of getting the message across.
“The spirit in which we conceived Mexicano Masks™,” the spokesperson continued, “is definitely to offend people. The time for dialogue is long gone.”
It’s fun and easy. Just click to download (male or female) the Mexicano Mask™ of your choice by clicking on the links at the bottom of this story. Print at 200 dpi. Cut out the eyes. Put it on. ¡Chingon, cabrón! You no longer look like a racist, oppressive Norte Americano.
It’s easy to send your friends here so they can go Mexicano, too. Just give them the URL, MexicanoMasks.com, and they’ll land right on this page.
President Obama’s promise to put 1,200 new troops on the border is as empty as the national treasury. Turns out those troops won’t be used to stop the flow of illegal aliens.
"I'm sending troops to stop illegal aliens" joins "Healthcare will save money" on Obama's list of outrageous lies
President Obama’s promise to put 1,200 new troops on the border is as empty as the national treasury. Turns out those troops won’t be used to stop the flow of illegal aliens.
AFP has a full report on Obama’s empty promise:
US National Guard troops being sent to the Mexican border will be used to stem the flow of guns and drugs across the frontier and not to enforce US immigration laws, the State Department said Wednesday.
The clarification came after the Mexican government urged Washington not to use the additional troops to go after illegal immigrants.
President Barack Obama on Tuesday authorized the deployment of up to 1,200 additional troops to border areas but State Department spokesman Philip Crowley told reporters, “It’s not about immigration.”
He said the move was “fully consistent with our efforts to do our part to stem, you know, violence, to interdict the flow of dangerous people and dangerous goods — drugs, guns, people.”
He said the extra troops would be used to free up civilians engaged in support functions so that law enforcement personnel can be increased along the 2,000-mile-long (3,200 kilometer) border.
How can you explain Obama’s constant kowtowing to the president of a corrupt third world country against the overwhelming opposition of the American people?
Felipe Calderon must have photos of Barack Obama in compromising positions with farm animals. It’s the only possible answer.
Patrick Kennedy, the last remaining link to those heady days of Camelot, spoke out against Arizona’s anti-illegal alien law. And he did the Kennedy family proud.
Patrick Kennedy, the last remaining link to those heady days of Camelot, spoke out against Arizona’s anti-illegal alien law. And he did the Kennedy family proud.
“…it violates the spirit of our own Constitution. So, you know, we had a tragic history in this country. The most shameful parts of our history were when we had our slave trade, when we, when we, the Trail of Tears, what we did to our Native Americans. And, you know, the proudest moments in our history are when we had the Civil Rights Act, when we moved forward on integration and expanding the opportunities for all of our citizens.
“So, this idea of, you know, racial profiling, takes us backwards and really goes to the worst character of our nation and it’s, it’s demeaning to our country that we would move in that direction. It’s beneath us as a people.”
Please allow us to translate:
“I love Mexicans. Legal Mexicans. Illegal Mexicans. Tall Mexicans. Short Mexicans. To prove it, I’d like a tequila, bartender. And hold the glass. Just gimme the friggin’ bottle and shut the hell up.”
Dolce & Gabbana has nothing on Biden & Pelosi when it comes to the latest fashions. The Vice President and the Speaker of the House are now sporting colorful new bracelets to protest Arizona’s anti-illegal alien law.
Dolce & Gabbana has nothing on Biden & Pelosi when it comes to the latest fashions. The Vice President and the Speaker of the House are now sporting colorful new bracelets to protest Arizona’s anti-illegal alien law.
HotAir.com explains that this new liberal fashion trend was developed by California Democrat Congressman Joe Baca:
As part of his general boycott of Arizona — which includes his refusal to fly through Phoenix on his weekly trips to and from Washington — Baca, D-Rialto, is distributing wristbands inspired by the Lance Armstrong LiveSTRONG craze.
Baca put in an order for 2,500 of his version, which will be red, yellow and blue — the colors of Arizona’s flag — to be worn as a show of solidarity against the controversial law…
In Washington, Baca has gotten House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and most members of the Democratic leadership to wear them, as they did — along with golfing legend Chi Chi Rodriguez — at a recent fundraiser for Baca. Baca said his office is fielding calls from people inquiring how they can get one of the wristbands.
“Everyone wants them,” Baca said. “They’re going like hot potatoes.”
And that, Joe, is what you call a Freudian slip. We’re pretty sure Baca meant to say, “They’re going like hot cakes” because the definition of a hot potato is “A problem that is so controversial or sensitive that those handling it risk unpleasant consequences.”
With every poll showing overwhelming support for the Arizona law, these stupid wrist bands are definitely hot potatoes.
Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio called attention to this frightening ad that ran in the Arizona Republic.
The Sonoran tourism office may want to rethink its ad campaign aimed at Arizona tourists.
Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio called attention to this frightening ad that ran in the Arizona Republic. From the good sheriff’s twitter page:
“I want the public to call 1-800-4SONORA & demand to know the meaning of this ad that was in the AZ Republic today http://twitpic.com/1ptueq”
Surely the ad means that when they spot a tourist from Arizona, they’ll buy him a nice cool cerveza and a delicious taco dinner courtesy of the Federales.
Odds are some reporter woke up from his stupor the other day and realized that New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has a Hispanic surname. Surely, the reporter thought, I can get this guy to condemn Arizona’s racist anti-illegal alien law.
Mrs IHateTheMedia Editor loves Mark Sanchez for his brain. Yeah, right.
Odds are some reporter woke up from his stupor the other day and realized that New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has a Hispanic surname.
Surely, the reporter thought, I can get this guy to condemn Arizona’s racist anti-illegal alien law.
Looks like Sanchez is pretty damn smart despite going to USC.
“When it comes to politics, my candid answer is, I’m football player and it doesn’t matter what I think,” he said in a transcript provided by the New York Jets. “The most important thing is you see both sides. I haven’t read the legislature, so I won’t pass judgment on it.
“I understand both sides have a point to be made. While people coming across the border or people here who may appear like they’ve come across the border, if I said that hopefully politically correct, we don’t want to racially profile anyone, just like in an airport you don’t want to racially profile anyone. Same situation.
“At the same time, if you live in Arizona and somebody’s coming over in to your territory, it’s like, ‘What’s going on? We need some sort of rule to stop that.’ I wouldn’t pass judgment on it until I read the legislature. I’m interested in the topic, but at this point I don’t know enough about it to comment further.”
We’re not going to hold the fact that he used the word “legislature” instead of “legislation.” Because for a guy who went to USC, he seems to be pretty damn smart.
The best that can be said for Mexican President Felipe Calderon is that he is a hypocritical puto. He appeared with Wolf Blitzer on CNN and proudly – yes, proudly – announced that Mexicans treat illegal aliens in their country exactly like Arizona wants to treat them. And in his view, that hypocrisy is fine and dandy.

He appeared with Wolf Blitzer on CNN and proudly – yes, proudly – announced that Mexicans treat illegal aliens in their country exactly like Arizona wants to treat them. And in his view, that hypocrisy is fine and dandy.
Blitzer: “Do Mexican police go around asking for papers of people who they suspect are illegal?” Calderon: “Of course.” Blitzer: “If somebody sneaks in from Nicaragua or some other country in Central America through the southern border of Mexico, they wind up in Mexico, they can go get a job, they can work . . .” Calderon: (Interrupting Blitzer) “No, no. If somebody do that without permission, we send back them.”
A grammatically incoherent English translation marred Mexican President Felipe Calderon’s arrival ceremony at the White House Wednesday. But we here at IHateTheMedia.com are highly-trained linguists. We were quickly able to see that the official translation was slightly inaccurate and we consider it our public duty to provide you with this revised translation of Calderon’s remarks.
Felipe Calderon greets President Obama by saying, "Pinche puto," which was translated as "Greetings, my good friend"
The Associated Press reports that there was a language barrier or two at the White House when Mexican el Presidente Felipe Calderon spoke on Tuesday:
A halting and grammatically incoherent English translation marred Mexican President Felipe Calderon’s arrival ceremony at the White House Wednesday, rendering his remarks difficult to understand at times. The Mexican delegation blamed its own translator.
Here’s how those comments appeared in the official White House transcript:
“I know that we share the interest in promoting dignified, legal and orderly living conditions to all migrant workers. Many of them, despite their significant contribution to the economy and to the society of the United States, still live in the shadows and, occasionally, as in Arizona, they even face discrimination.”
But we here at IHateTheMedia.com are highly-trained linguists. We were quickly able to see that the official translation was slightly inaccurate and we consider it our public duty to provide you with this revised translation of Calderon’s remarks:
“You are friggin’ fools, America. While we steal billions of pesos from our people, we will continue to send our starving, unemployed peasants across the border so that they can become your problem instead of ours. And if you so much as open your mouths, we will cry racism. By the way, pendejos, we will eventually take back every square inch of land you stole from us. Long live Aztlán.”
As you can see, language barriers are easily overcome. And in that way, they are a lot like barriers along the border.

She admits to John McCain that she hasn’t read the law, but that doesn’t stop her from passing judgment on it.
“That’s not the kind of law I would have signed,” she told Congress. “I believe it’s a bad law enforcement law. I believe it mandates and requires local enforcement and puts them in a position many do not want to be placed in. When I was dealing with laws of that ilk, most of the law enforcement organizations in Arizona at that time were opposed to such legislation.”
In other words, “We don’t read the damn laws, we just pass judgment on them.”
Update: State Department Spokesman P.J. Crowley said on Fox News this morning that he has not read Arizona’s new law (skip to minute 6:40):
Miss Oklahoma Morgan Elizabeth Woolard followed in the grand tradition of former Miss California Carrie Prejean Sunday night and offered her honest opinion when asked if she supported Arizona’s new anti-illegal alien law.
Miss Oklahoma Morgan Elizabeth Woolard followed in the grand tradition of former Miss California Carrie Prejean Sunday night and offered her honest opinion when asked if she supported Arizona’s new anti-illegal alien law.
She said, “I’m a huge believer in states rights.”
Those, of course, are evil conservative code words that reveal to all liberals that she is a racist, sexist, homophobic she devil.
By the way, why was an Australian the host of the Miss America pageant?
It appears that the Attorney General is just plain so overloaded with work that he can’t get around to reading the laws he criticizes. You know, the laws he threatens to take to court to overturn.
If Attorney General Eric Holder is interested, IHateTheMedia.com will spring for the cost of a quick course in speed reading at Evelyn Woods Reading Dynamics.
It appears that the Attorney General is just plain so overloaded with work that he can’t get around to reading the laws he criticizes. You know, the laws he threatens to take to court to overturn.
Fox News has the details:
Despite repeatedly voicing concerns about Arizona’s new immigration enforcement law in recent weeks and threatening to challenge it, Attorney General Eric Holder said Thursday he has not yet read the law — which is only 10 pages long.
“I have not had a chance to — I’ve glanced at it,” Holder said at a House Judiciary Committee hearing when asked had he read the state law cracking down on illegal immigrants.
Holder told reporters last month that he fears the new law is subject to abuse and that the Justice Department and the Homeland Security Department are in the midst of conducting a review.
As we recall from our high school speed reading course, it’s not just speed that’s important, it’s comprehension. And Holder seems to have problem with both.
If you’d like to take the Evelyn Woods refresher course, Eric, send us an email. We’ll pay.

In particular, he went after Suns guard Steve Nash, an outspoken critic of the new law and a Canadian citizen.
“Steve, what if we were empathetic with the illegals coming in and we met them at our border and gave them all a shower and a full hot meal and a hundred American dollars and put them in a beautiful Stratocruiser bus and took them up — you’re Canadian — to the Canada border, and just set them free across the border?”
For their next game, maybe the Suns can change their name to the Phoenix Hypocrites.

A brand spankin’ new USA Today/Gallup poll reveals that 9 out of 10 Americans pretty much agree with those right wing, tea baggin’, racist, Nazi, Republicans from Arizona.
They’d like the federal government to get off its duff and secure the damn border.
CNSnews.com has more of the results:
Similarly, 61 percent of Americans say they are very concerned that illegal immigrants are putting an unfair burden on U.S. schools, hospitals, and government services.
Gallup asked respondents whether it was extremely important, very important, moderately important, or not that important to them that the U.S. government take steps this year to control the border to stop the flow of illegal immigrants into the country. Only 10 percent said it was not that important. Eighty-nine percent said it was moderately to extremely important, with 42 percent saying it was extremely important, 26 percent saying it was very important, and 21 percent saying it was moderately important.
Let’s do a little math. There are 300,000,000 Americans. And it’s been estimated that there may be as many as 25,000,000 illegal aliens. So if nine out of ten people want the border secured, the odds are pretty high that the tenth guy was an illegal alien.
And by “rational debate”, we mean irrational insults, needless name calling and, of course, unseemly signage. And hard as this may be to believe – SARCASM ALERT – it came from the left.

Fortunately, as Rasmussen reveals, it worked about as well as the you might have expected:
Following weekend protests against the new Arizona law cracking down on illegal immigration, support for the Arizona policy remains unchanged.
However, a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that only 25% have a favorable view of those who marched and protested for immigrant rights in major cities. Fifty percent (50%) hold an unfavorable opinion and another 26% are not sure.
Fifty-nine percent (59%) of voters still favor legislation like Arizona’s that authorizes local police to stop and verify the immigration status of anyone they suspect of being an illegal immigrant. Thirty-two percent (32%) oppose such a law. Those figures are virtually unchanged from a week ago.
On one hand, we think the guy who wrote the sign meant to say, “You owe us, America.” On the other hand, the missing comma – intentional or not – probably makes the sign a more accurate reflection of the crowd’s true feelings.
