The 51st Annual Grammy Awards celebrated great singers, great musicians and, of course, Obama the Great.
First, the President received two Grammys for reading his own audio books. Then, Neil Portnow, president of the Grammys, declared his love for Obama by chanting “Yes we can!” and urging him to create a cabinet level Culture Commissar.
“Our finest national treasure is our culture and the arts,” Portnow said, “It’s time that we acknowledge that fact with the creation of a cabinet position of secretary of the arts to promote and develop this vital contribution to society everywhere.”
Bill Clinton immediately applied for the position. “That Pink chick is kind of hot in a scary kind of way,” he said, “Think she’d like to date the Culture Commissar?”
