UN CELEBRATES OBAMA RE-ELECTION BY PUSHING GLOBAL GUN CONTROL. These idiots didn’t take very long either. Now the morons who thought Obama was middle-of-the-road and voted for him will get to see the real Obama. We bet they won’t like it.

Ah Yes the United nations, more of the Obama welfare and free phone recipiants, wouldn’t want anyone with a gun to challenge them as they try to tax us and regulate us would we?

We all saw this coming, “Dear Leader” has already abandoned the people suffering from the so called super-storm, and rather then the economy or jobs his first priory is of course Gun Control.
This is all out of the Tyrant for Dummies handbook.
PS, .308 is a much better long range Sniper Rifle, .223 and 7.62X39 lack enough terminal velocity at ranges over 200 yards.

That’s why I like the 7.62×54 cartridge.

Me and my numerous M1’s are partial to the old by reliable 30-06.

7.62 x 63 is an old favorite of mine. Sadly, I no longer possess anything that uses it.

Based on his history of dealing with TOP PRIORITY essues, that may be the best news the gun owners could have asked for. When has anything he called a TOP PRIORITY gotten any attention at all?

poppajoe49

But, he has Hillary on the job.
Their priority is the UN Small Arms Treaty. It has been back burnered until after the election because Obama knew that the news of that being signed would cost him the election.

Not for long. She’s quitting , remember?

she’s distancing herself (again) from barry so she can run in 2016.

And in an interview yesterday, she supposedly left the door open for running in 2016. Or maybe that’s just a media wet dream.

How far it from your doorway to the front stoop?

7.62×39!

I don’t plan on letting them get that close.

I’ve got a question that’s been bothering me for a few days. This seems to be the perfect place to pose said question. And it might help take our minds off of the sodomizing we all received on Tuesday!
7.62X39 or .223? I’m leaning towards a Sig 556R that shoots the 7.62 because of ammo price and availability. Should I suck it up and buy a .223 version and pay double for ammo?

Kind of partial to my Rem BDL 700, 7MM…..I can pick a tick off a deer’s ass at a mile….actually have done it….OK, so not the tick part…..but a kill…

Shotguns, most any, are good too….messy, but effective.

A mile is about as close as I want to be to a liberal these days….

These assclowns wanted division…..they are certainly getting it…

Guess your target on the typical lib would be what? Size of a walnut? For a headshot that is!

MGAP, not for me to say, but the stegosauruses probably feel denigrated by that remark.

😉

I would do 7.62 x 51 which is the NATO round, the 39 is the Soviet round. The 5.56 was designed with Geneva crap in mind – designed to wound, not kill.

10 gauge turkey loads work extremely well at about 10 yards. Get off about 3 or 4 rounds and then switch to something with greater range to finish off those left that are hauling ass off your yard.

So, both and then some others? Sweet! 😉

Future chat wit da Missus –
Me, “Hey honey, I’m can’t decide, so i’m going to buy 6 rifles for “field testing” and sell the ones I don’t like later.”

Her, “That’s nice, you can sell your car and ride your bicycle to work to pay for it then.”

Me, “Our house is to far from work for me to commute on my bicycle.”

Her, “Keep that distance in mind when you look for your new apartment dearie.”

2 words:

7.62×54
about $185 at pretty much any online gun site, but they are plentiful here:

Just look for a non FFL dealer, no paperwork to fill out.

Granted, they are bolt action, but the wife won’t grouse about the cost.

Got a co-worker who has two of them! He calls them Olga and Nadia, his twins! $119 at Budsgunshop. I could get one for every room in the house…..

Just get a nice Remington 700 in .308 Winchester… and hope you can leave it to someone special without ever having had to use it. I wanted to get one for my 60th birthday and just couldn’t spend the money on another gun that I never take to a party. They make a tactical model that is threaded for a suppressor. That’s the one I wanted.

Looking to use primarily as a stress reliever. Semi-auto serves better than a bolt action for that function, to me anyway! Not planning on using for hunting, but I want accuracy up to 300 yds or so.

Best thing about the second Amendment? It’s not something that will be taken away without a fight from those who still believe in the constitution.
